The pants are comfortable and fit well. However, although I am heavy I am short. I have to cut 4 inches off. PLEASE make these in petite, in all sizes - not just the smaller sizes.

I've been searching for this length, this fit, this style for so long! I have a couple of very worn pair that I love, but they are definitely showing their age. I was so excited to see an LL Bean version! I would give 5 stars if they came in a lighter cotton. The price was a bit steep, but I'm hoping that the LLB quality will make them a worthy investment.

Love these pants - my second pair. Very comfortable, cool and lightweight. Only issue I have is first pair started to pill a bit after awhile. But this didn't stop me from buying another pair because the were so comfy and nice!

A friend recommended these pants to me as she said they were her favorites. I tried a pair and agreed, but I went by the measurements on the website and they are a bit large. They also wrinkle quickly, but are super comfortable--especially for airplane rides!!

I have mixed reviews on these camp pants. Last year, I bought a pair in green and another in black. I have absolutely lived in these in the warmer weather and purchased a third pair - in black. I like the fit and feel of these so much, I would have bought a pair in every color. However, while the black ones have held up very well, even though they have been worn 10 times more than the green, the green ones have pilled terribly and I only wear them on the farm now. I'd be interested if others have had this problem with other colors?

I like them so much, I bought them in two colors. They are so comfortable! I do wish there was a way that the the loop at the end of the pants could somehow attach to a button to stay put. I just wear them without using the loop.

I like them very much. I only wish they were a little shorter and the leg tights could be so that we could make them shorter.
Love the material and so easy to care for.

Very comfortable. Nice lightweight material breathes well in warm weather. You need to be very careful putting these in the dryer. They dry super fast and can shrink. So we put in dryer for like 8 minutes, and lay over a chair to dry the last little bit.

These pants are made from a very lightweight, cool fabric, and the waistband is nice and soft. Well made, roomy pockets. My only complaint is this - I was in the middle of small and medium sizing. I ordered the medium, since I've had some problem in the past with LL Bean pants being too tight in the waist. i should have ordered the small - these are too big for me. I can wear them, but have to pull the drawstring tight, and it will probably stretch out over time since it is elastic.

I really like these capris/pants but after a few wears the capris do pill up. Otherwise, I love these capris. I now have 3 capris and 1 pair of pants. The fit is perfect and is very comfortable. These capris/pants are great in hot weather.

I love LLBean products, and these pants are no exception - comfortable fit, nice color, and cool fabric good for hot weather. Unfortunately, however, they did not become my favorite pants for only one reason: the pull up strings at the bottom of the pants won't stay up a minute. Once pulled up, they protect the leg and also look cute. When down, the pant flares and does not look attractive. The pull up strings slide right down, because the fabric is light and silky. Again, unfortunately, I could not return the pants, because I wore them once - that's when I discovered this flaw. I had to keep the pants, but do not wear them as often as I would like to. They look baggy because of the flared bottoms.

These pants are extremely comfortable. The materials is very soft and falls nicely so they look fitted but not tight. I took one star away because the stretchy drawstring causes a problem when you try to put things like keys or a phone in the pockets. The drawstring stretches along with the elastic waistband, causing the pants to slip down my hips more than I would like. L.L.Bean, make the drawstring non-stretch and these would be 5 star pants!

Wonderful, modest alternative to shorts. The fabric is so cool and comfortable, and the pockets so handy.
Now I just wish they were available in lighter colors.
Caution, these were a replacement pair after my original pair became pilled. (Perhaps my own fault in washing. But I did get 2-3 yrs wear.)

These camp pants are very comfortable, especially in hot weather. The elastic waist is great, not too tight or too loose. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is, they don't come in petite. Given my height I'd prefer that they were a bit shorter. Otherwise, love them.

I really like these capri camp pants to wear around the house in the summer when I don't feel like wearing shorts. They are very light weight and comfortable. The elastic top is also comfortable and gives a good fit around the waist. I have worn them while hiking as well and they worked well, providing my legs with protection from branches while giving me lots of room to move and climb.
The reason I give a 4 star rating is because they are a bit loose in the upper thigh area. I have to be sure to pull the pants up every once in a while or my upper thighs rub against each other--fine for around the house, but uncomfortable when doing an extended walk. Also, because they are more loose-fitting in the thigh area, I have to wear a more form fitting top to avoid looking like a big lump.

I love the weight and feel of the material. Wish that they have fit me. The 2X was a bit too tight across the hips and the 3X was way too big. I was very disappointed that I couldn't keep them.

I normally would take a medium but I ordered small as per previous reviews that stated runs a little large. Small a perfect fit for me. I have a navy & a grey pair. Love the weight of the fabric, love the style. They do wrinkle when washed. I only leave them in the dryer for a about 5 min then hang to dry So that seems to take some of the wrinkles out. The tag inside says do not iron but I do press them lightly on a very low setting with no problem. I do not have the piling that other people have mentioned in their reviews.

It fits well I like the cropped style best. Have more colors. I would not dry these pants in a dryer as the waist tie string will get caught and twist up to the extreme.

Lightweight, very comfortable & stylish. Wish they came in petite length. At 5'3", they are longer than intended on me. Great pockets with zippers.

I am happy I bought them because I need pants/capris I can move fast in for work and these are perfect but I wouldn't say they are worth $69.00 though. But I still love L.L Bean and will be buying again!

I love my full length Vista Camp Pants, so I bought a couple pairs of the cropped version for warmer weather. The fit is the same (yay), but the length is a bit too long. If I was shorter they would look more like "floods". I love the leg cargo pockets and cute elastic feature on the sides of the legs, but when I scrunch it up it doesn't stay put and works its way down within minutes. We are having hot weather at the moment and after putting a pair on this morning, it was clear they were too warm with that low-calf length vs a pair of shorts. I wish the cropped pants were more like capris and perhaps LLBean would consider a longer short version (9"-10" inseam) for us older women who prefer not to wear Daisy Dukes at our age.
