These parts are very thin, to the point where you can't utilize the pocket zippers without using both hands to open and close them because the pant material lacks any rigidity to support the stability of the zipper. They also do not fit true to size. I am comfortably a size 16US and the XL was large and couldn't be tightened enough to even attempt unzipping the pocket without pulling down my pants. Also, the waist band AND the drawstring are stretchy, so forget being able to tighten the waist enough to be secure. Returning.

These pants are wonderfully light and comfortable but the fabric and stitching are terrible. I bought three pairs of these at around the same time because they were so comfortable, but all three pairs were covered with snags after only a few wearings and they quickly developed big gaps in the overstitching where the sewing failed. Sadly, the only thing I have been able to use them for is gardening. I am very disappointed because I rarely find pants at LL Bean that fit my shape.

I am returning these pants. They were true to size and good quality, but the horizontal seam across the front of the thigh was very rough. It irritated my skin with every step. I had the same issue with both pairs that I ordered. I'm very disappointed that I can't keep them for hiking.

I purchased two pairs of these pants for a trip and was very pleased with them at first but after washing and wearing them for only a few months they are pilling horribly. I am returning the first pair I purchased now and will probably have to return the other pair as well. It's too bad because they are comfy and lightweight

Had these pants since Christmas. Only wore them a few times. They are getting polled above the knees. More on the left side

I love the look of these pants so much that I bought two pair, plus two pair of shorts in the same style. But sadly, the fabric doesn't hold up. It's pilling and looks terrible. :(

The cropped version of these pants would be improved if at least one button pocket was large enough for a passport. The long pants left leg pocket does fit the passport.

I bought this for hiking. They are nice and light weight, but the material is starting to pill. You would not expect that to happen for how much you pay for them. Also, the side pockets are not deep enough to secure a phone. The pone fits in about 2/3 of the way and you cannot secure the button on the closure.

I love the look, fit and fabric of these pants and have ordered several pairs in many colors. However, after two washings ( in cold water, hanging to dry, no iron) they all start pilling horribly, the stitching pops out all over the seams and they look terrible.. For this price that's inexcusable

These are comfortable and light. I like all the pockets and the drawstring cuffs. My first outing in the woods with them resulted in so many snags in the fabric. Soooo many. Their light weight, but not at all rugged.

I loved these pants at first; comfortable, lots of pockets including zippered pockets, lightweight. But after wearing them on a 4-day backpacking trip, these pants look worn out. The fabric itself is fraying from catching on plants during hikes. and some of the stitching is coming out of the pant legs. Maybe these pants weren't designed for backpacking trips, but I sure was deceived by the online description!

They fit well and are lightweight. For all the pockets, they are all to small to hold much. My tiny pocket wallet won't even fit in my back pocket. The only pockets that are really usable or the top two zippered pockets.

Returned. They had a terrible fit on my body. This did not fit me anything like other LLB pabts that I love to wear. Did like the fabric.

Purchased these after recommended in the store, fit well but did not realize the fabric pills and snags easily. Very disappointed!

I absolutely loved these pants and bought them in a few colors. The elastic waistband, numerous pockets and length were all perfect. I take care of my clothes and wash as instructed, they are gently used. I don't sit on concrete or any rough spots so the pilling isn't for that reason. The pants are starting to pill horribly and don't look like the quality I expect from LL Bean, especially at this price.

I bought these pants a few years ago and didn't get much use of them except for 'at home' use. The fabric pills and the thread in the seat area didn't seem to hold up.

I ordered these pants and was pleased with the fit and comfort. Buy have a pocket with cargo pockets and secure back pockets, none of which are large enough for even the smallest iPhone? I hope that LLbean decides to correct this flaw.

The pants are lightweight and would be great during the hot summer days. The only problem is I ordered a size petite small according to the LL Bean size guide. I am 5'4", weigh 114 lbs,, 65+ years old. I ordered size small petite according to the LL Bean size chart guidelines. They were HUGE. Not only in the waist but baggy all the way doen to my ankle. I sent them back reordering a similar style but with slimmer legs in a size xs. I haven't received them yet but hope the fit.

I loved these pants when I first got them. The material is very thin, almost see through when you hold it up to the light, but I was willing to let that pass. In fact I like them so much I ordered four more pairs. Then on one of the other pairs I ordered, I noticed after wearing them one time the thread for the seam in the center of the butt was starting to come unstitched. I sent that pair back as a return. Then I noticed the same stich coming lose today on the original pair I bought. I've worn this pair twice. I'm extremely disappointed that pants this expensive are so poor quality. I'll be inspecting the other pairs I bought and will likely return those as well.

I have 6 various styles of Vista/camp pants, all this material, some long, some capri, some zip off legs all from previous seasons. I love them, the quality, the functionality; hot weather, keep the bugs off, or cold weather, even add an underlayer. My phone fit in the side or front pockets of all of them. On the new versions, PHONES DO NOT FIT ANYWHERE, unless you have a tiny flip phone. I am a very active outdoorswoman, I do not carry a purse, wallet, etc, I expect my pockets to be 100% functional and carry my critical items. Phone, $, CC, chapstick. Cannot do that in these new styles. Two to three years ago, these were functional pants for outdoor sports. They no longer are. I mentioned these issues in the store many times, and while employees agree and sympathize, corporate is not listening.

Size L nearly falls off of me. So I ordered Size Medium which is way too tight. I do not understand why there is such a difference between Large and Medium sizes. Medium is more like a size Small. I am 5'8" 153 lbs.

I loved these pants initially. They are very comfortable & fit well. I've had them maybe 1 1/2 years. However, the fabric has not held up well and now it has pilled severely in the crotch area (note: I am not obese where the fabric would rub constantly in that area when walking), and the pants are no longer wearable due to how bad this looks. I've worn them maybe a couple dozen times.

I would have loved these pants, but they were too wide in the thighs for me, looking pretty baggy. Perfect length though! I bought the xs in medium tall.
