I live in Orlando, and while visiting family in Manchester we went to the LL Bean store. I fell in love with these shorts. I use them as my every day shorts. They are great when we are outside, at the beach or at theme parks. I can fit everything I need in the cargo pockets and the zippers secure my insulin pump so I am not worried about loosing it while on a ride or climbing. Cant wait to go back to CT to load up on my shorts!

The quality of these shorts are truly amazing. Yes they are a bit pricey but they last and last for several years. They seem to not wear out and the only reason for replacement is if I tear or stain them. I the cool and light fabric that doesn't stick to you. The zipper pockets are an added bonus!

Received my shorts in time for a trip to Florida where we did lots of hiking. The shorts stayed cool, dried quickly when they got wet. I loved the 2 zip pickets that easily held my cell phone, keys, etc. I wish there were more colors, I will definitely be buying another pair..

Light weight, comfortable, nice color, good fit for me. I also have their slacks.. Really really good in hot weather.

These are super comfortable trail shorts. Really pleased with the style and comfort. Really happy that they are available in a different color, rather than just the usual black, grey, etc.

I purchased 2 prs. about 6 years ago and have lost one (!) so here I am trying to buy more and in different colors but they do not have the adjustable waist any longer? Very disappointing as now I will have to order 2 sizes and return one. Plus there is no more navy? Please stay with the tried and true.

Love the shorts for hiking and to wear just anytime I'm out and about. Have all available colors would like to see a navy color.

Just bought my third pair of these shorts! They are comfortable and look great on everything from hiking to the grocery store. Plus they are light, have great pockets, hold their shape and are cool in hot weather and i hate hot weather. The fit is true to size also.

I've been wearing these shorts exclusively for years...good fit, nice stretchy fabric, easy to clean and dry readily.

This is my second pair, the other one has nubbies on them, but it is 4 years old. I wanted a nice pair of shorts for an upcoming trip to France. I love the zippered pockets, the shorts are extremely comfortable, but the only down side would be when it is really hot and humid outside, I do sweat in them because of the material. The shorts are light and airy.

Light & comfy with just a bit of stretch. Need multiple pairs for the summer.

Comfortable fabric and drape. I got a size that doesn't fit snugly and it's a deal changer w/o sacrificing anything in terms of fashion or comfort. I could live in these.

These size 16 shorts fit great (I am 5'6" and 180 lbs). Lightweight and stylish. 9" length is perfect. Highly recommend.

Love, love, love these shorts! Perfect length, just enough stretch and very comfortable. I own every color of these shorts but wIsh they came in brighter colors.

I have multiple pairs of these shorts, they get me through about one season in the tropics. They would last longer if the front pockets had a little more reinforcement as the zippers always rip out because I want a place to put my phone.

LL Bean please offer a Navy Blue. I have Black and Dark Gray. So lightweight, cool, and perfect length.

These are now my official go to shorts! I was a little intimidated by the price, but know that wear them everyday in the summer (I have more than one pair of these) it's well worth it. I wash and dry them and they have not changed. Size is true to fit. I bought an 8 and that's my regular size.
