These shorts are great for hiking. I have been wearing them almost every day since I bought them. They are comfortable and they have lots of pockets! They are my favorite shorts.

Great fit. Great material. Great pockets. Great durability. Size as expected. I have about 10 pairs, my oldest pair is from 2017. I buy 2 pair every year. I wear these shorts daily for trail clearing, hiking, dog walking, gardening, etc.. They are my daily workhorse shorts. They are comfortable, durable and fit great. Highly recommended!

Very cool and light weight. I got caught in a rain burst while wearing them and was impressed at how quickly they dried. I think the material is too light weight to consider them for trekking. Great for around town.

This a VERY comfortable short. It's cool, dries fast if it gets wet and has a bit of stretch for those long steps during hiking. I now have 3 pairs and just love them!
