I read Consumer's Report and the L L Bean sheets were rated close to the top yet were much more reasonable. I fund them comfortable and fit our mattress very well. I would buy them again.

These sheets feel wonderful and launder well.

I had begun to think I never again find quality sheets at a reasonable price until I got these. I want sheets that are crisp without being stiff, do not wad up after being slept on after laundering and feel smooth to the skin. These met all my expectations and when ironed (yes, I do!) they looked like they had just come out of the package. I will buy more.

I love these sheets and have purchased them for all the beds in my house as well as in our vacation home!

Am very pleased with the sheets. I have a queen sized bed and a thick mattress and the fitted sheet fits better than most. The top sheet is also wider and longer than most I have had which I really like. Very pretty comfortable sheets.

Fresh, crisp, these all cotton sheets have sturdy seams and are labeled length/width for easy mattress fitting. We literally tossed out all prior bedsheet sets and are ordering these for all our beds.

It's hard to buy sheets by mail order but based on the descriptions I chose these and was happy. They look and feel great, and really are cooling, if that's what you look for.

Thank you, thank you for such wonderful sheets that are comfortable, warm you quickly or keep you cool. I have been looking for great sheets such as LL Bean's for some time. I wanted sheets that I remember from childhood that can stand the test of time. These sheets are just that due a 280 thread count that will last. I specifically love the top sheet for its width, it covers my mattress perfectly and gives me what a appears to be slightly wider than most other sheets I have bought from other stores. LOVE THEM and will buy more in the near future. I also owe this find on LL Bean to an email from Consumers Affair report.

Tremendous quality--cool and durable. I learned about these sheets from Consumer Reports and Wirecutter, where they got top reviews. They beat sheets costing 3 times the price.

Very pleased with these sheets. They are sized better than other sheets and are easy to change.

I have had these sheets long enough to launder several times and I am very pleased. The sheets are soft, the top sheet is comfortably wide enough for two people, and they come out of the dryer almost wrinkle-free(follow instructions to dry on low). These are some of the nicest sheets I've owned, including more expensive ones.

Bought these sheets for Ann, her 10 year old Bean Sheets had holes in them. After hearing her constant complaints, about getting her toes stuck in the holes, I surprised Ann with a New Set of Sheets. Ann Loves them, Soft & Smooth. She hopes to get another 10 years from them.

These sheets are the best sheets i ever owned. Not only are they soft but they fit perfect on the bed.

I bought the Flannel Sheets and the Pima Cotton Percale Sheets. I have the flannel on my bed...winter. As always product from LL Bean is the quality I have come to expect from the company...excellent. The Pima Cotton Percale Sheets are awaiting spring but I would assume nothing less than excellent. These sheets are very good - sturdy material, well-constructed, with generous sizing. They lay well on the bed and the corners of the fitted sheets make for a tidy fit when stretched fully over the mattress. I'm glad I purchased them.

The sheets were a gift to my daughter and her husband. They are in use now and my daughter reports that they absolutely love the sheets.

Very soft right out of the package. I think they are actually cooler than not using them, which is great for a Florida summer. Can't wait until they get a few washings to see how they feel.

I bought the Lake Blue and it looks beautiful with my Brahms Mount blue and white cotton blanket I bought from LL Bean last year at Christmas time. These sheets were recommended by Consumer Reports because they do not shrink. So far, outstanding as shrinkage has been a big big problem with other brands. In fact the king fitted sheet is slightly larger in width than our mattress. Maybe this is because we need a new mattress, something else to buy in the coming year.

This is our second set. We've had another set for our king-sized bed in the master bedroom for about a year. We love them. They're the perfect combination of "soft" and "crisp". The fitted sheet is a little too large for even deep mattresses but this can be overlooked for the comfort they provide. They get a little softer with repeated washings but they don't appear to shirk appreciably in the dryer.

I purchased these sheets on the recommendation of Wirecutter. They are well made & comfortable & it's easy to get the fitted sheet on with the extra depth. I'm happy with them
