Excellent product. Great when new, wears and washes well, retains its color and softness.

These sheets are great for sleeping cool. The California king size fits my mattress very well. An added bonus: They release dog fur very easily so they're easier to keep clean if you share your bed with a dog. I would definitely recommend these sheets to a friend.

I am very happy with these sheets. They feel really soft and the simple style is to my liking. My husband really likes them too because they are crisp and cool feeling. They get a little wrinkly after washing/drying, even if you take them directly out of the dryer. And one of the other reviewers mentioned that the fitted sheet does not fit super tight on the mattress, which also is true, but the fit is not too loose. The fitted sheet fits our extra plush mattress with the elastic covering all the way down and over the bottom, which I appreciate. I bought them for all four beds at our beach house, knowing they will feel great on a summer night.

Generous dimensions so that the fitted sheet is easy to put on. Great feeing percale even though the thread count is not as high as others.

Wonderfully comfortable sheets! 100% cotton fabric feels so much more comfortable and breathable than cotton/poly blends. These are great as we transition from flannel as the warm weather approaches. Nicest sheets I've ever had.

I love these sheets so much that I bought another set for myself, and one for my daughter and her husband. They are crisp and cool. They make it easy to make up the bed. I wish they came in more colors and prints.

Wirecutter was right again - I wanted a higher thread count but these really are all around great. Comfortable, and feel like they will hold up well - making them a good value.

Best sheets ever. The have a soft crispness, that makes a wonderful feel. They are a larger bottom sheet that fits the new thicker mattresses well.

I love the fact that the fitted sheet has the short side labeled. A queen sized sheet is almost square so it speeds things up. These are the deepest and largest queen sheets I have ever seen.

Percale sheets that are not too thin, nicely finished on the top sheet. Top sheet longer so it stays tucked in. I am finally happy I have found good percale sheeets that did not break the bank!

Like probably all or most people who want percale sheets, I remember them from childhood. Grandma's percale drying on the clothesline, getting extra crispy so that when you climbed into bed they actually crackled. The memory remains strong so I spent several years trying out percale from various stores only to be disappointed again and again. What I got (soft and then softer until I hated the feel of them touching my skin) was not what I wanted. Then I saw the recent New York Times article that reviewed percale sheets and saw that of the top sheets that were tested L.L.Bean's were one of the two best. (The other was apparently equally as good but much more expensive.) So I ordered a set of the queen size. I have been using them for perhaps a month and I realized that I had found the right ones for me. They stay cool and crisp and are so much closer to what I remember than any I have tried in decades. I was surprised by the thickness because while they feel, well, thick, they remain cool. And I get the feeling that that thickness is going to make them last for a long time. They also fit wonderfully, the fitted sheet just enough to easily go on the mattress without becoming loose, and the flat sheet being surprisingly large, especially on the sides. This bucks the trend of manufacturers dropping their costs by making things smaller. Good choices, l.L.Bean! Sheets are no longer inexpensive. It's okay if they give you at a minimum several years' worth of service. Most don't. These will. And they also give me a trip back to Grandma's clothesline.
