In the effort to make the fitted bottom sheet ample, it is too loose and bunches up during the night. It is easy to make the bed, but a little uncomfortable at night. Pillow cases are too short for the pillows.

These sheets are well made and generous in material so they fit nicely. They are comfortable and keep their shape. The downside is that they stain easily with skin oil so the pillow cases in particular get large oil spots where a face touches the fabric. They need extra care while laundering in order to reduce the oily areas. Disappointed.

Paid a high price for mediocre sheets that don't stay on the mattress well. Think I'll go to Costco for the next set, like my wife recommended.

These are the smoothest sheets I've ever bought. They feel very cool on the skin. I love them. Unfortunately, the fitted sheet is too wide and long for our king size bed. The corners literally hang over the edge of the mattress. Sheet suspenders keep the corners down, but by morning, my husbands side of the bed is a wrinkled mess. He's decided he wants to sleep on our 'back-up' sheets which aren't quite as nice, but fit snuggly.

First impression is that for the money, I was hoping for a softer sheet. These sheets were almost a fail with the wife. Hoping that time/multiple washing gives a better assessment for softness as well as longevity....I'll try to update if they allow...

Fitted sheet does not fit my Casper Queen (12 in thick) very well at all. White sheets are somewhat pinkish. I do like the crisp feel of the sheets though. Considered returning, but general hassle and annoying cost of return weighed against, so I kept the sheet set.

I was sure hoping that these sheets were going to be great when I ordered them. Paying a higher price I was hoping they were higher quality and would be better than others I've purchased. Unfortunately I would say they are average at best. They are a thinner, light weight material which I was okay with. The down fall is the elastic on the corners is so thin and light that they come off my bed daily!! So frustrating to have to re-fit your sheet after getting out of your bed everyday.

These sheets feel good for sleeping - light, smooth, breathable, but with enough weight that they don't stay wrinkled like other light sheets. But, as others have noted, they tend to get scorched in the dryer. A set of the blue did a little, but our more recent set of gray ones scorched significantly after one round in the dryer. All of them have embarrassing large brown scorch marks. The colors are also significantly lighter than shown. The mid-blue is very pale like a sky blue, and vapor gray is much closer to white.

The sheets are very nice and the color is beautiful. The only issue I have with them is that the fitted sheet is huge. This is the second set of these sheets that I have purchased and the first set fit fine. It's kind of weird how big this new king fitted sheet is compared to the first ones I bought. That is the only reason I deleted stars

great sheets , but way too big for my king bed, I have to lift up the bed to tuck thesheets under the bottom of the bed

I love the sheets, but after 2 washes, the pillow cases had bleachy faded spots. We use no bleach in our home, so I think it's the fabric :(

Overall not bad sheets but they seem to miss the weight and crispness we were looking for. Maybe a higher thread count would help. They wash up nice, wrinkle free and good color. Thought we might get more for the money!

The sheets are as advertised with regard to softness. However, the elastic on the bottom fitted sheet is not strong enough to keep the sheet under the mattress, every night the sheet pops up when you turn over, very annoying. We returned. I don't think the mattress depth is the problem, the elastic just needs to be stronger to hold it in place.

I had never purchased bedding from LLBean, but I have bought many slacks for my husband. The quality of the past purchases have been the best. I decided to try the sheets since we changed bed size. They wrinkle a bit after getting washed even if I fold them out of the dryer. I have washed them three times and they are getting a bit softer. I am hoping with more washes they will get better. I am just not sure they were worth the price if they stay rough. I do like the tags on the fitted sheet to tell you which end you are placing on the mattress.

I did a ton of research on sheets before landing on this set. But I am so disappointed. Sure, they feel great and have washed nicely, with minimal wrinkling. That promise on quality is 100% there. BUT the are HUGE. We have one of those standard queen foam box mattresses (think Casper, Nectar, etc.) - something like 17". And these sheets absolutely dwarf the bed. Which means that the fitted sheet gets bunched up after two nights (which means goodbye any clean, crisp feeling!) and the top sheet hangs well over the edge of the bed so it needs to be tucked in all the way to the headboard when making the bed. I'm so disappointed and wondering if perhaps I got a defective set? I've tried shrinking them several times and still, no success. Really disappointed.

I can see through the sheets, the print pattern of my mattress is clearly visible. Surprised and disappointed, I've really loved LL Bean products in the past but these feel like low quality

The quality of the sheets is very good (recommended by The Wirecutter), but our mattress is old fashioned and only10 inches deep. These sheets are made for a 14 or 15 inch deep mattress. When I put the bottom sheet on our mattress, the sheet is loose and wrinkly, not nice and taut. I am going to get those "suspenders" for sheets; maybe that will help.

I want to give these sheets five stars but there is one flaw. First, the sheets are super cool, crisp with a lightweight softness! However, just one week after using the pillowcases they are very stained. This has never happened to me before and I've purchased many sheet sets before. Really a shame because the product is otherwise a great purchase - but not with pillowcases that stain so badly.

I am disappointed after laundering the sheets they come out of the dryer very wrinkled. The reason I bought them was because they were supposed to be wrinkle free.

I like the sheets. The pockets are pretty deep which makes it easier to make my bed. They feel nice. But, I'm disappointed. For the price, and I was willing to pay the price for Percale Sheets - they are thinner then expected.

I like the quality however the fitted sheet fits ok on all 4 corners but balloons out on both sides from too much material. Makes for a messy look.

Like the material and feel. Launders beautiful. Fitted sheet is LOOSE. You may call the color vapor gray, but I call it TAN as do 2 other people. Not as impressed with LL BEAN as I usually am.

Nice sheet set but if you perspire at all the pillow cases stain, at least on the blue color. Hair and skin oil too over time....doesn't wash out...any suggestions?

Purchased a queen set for our guest bedroom. I feel like they are a little course and rough. I've washed them several times and they are still not very soft. For the money; I would expect better. Also, I note they are made in China.

As recommended, I washed my new sheets today before using them. While making the bed I noticed dark stain (dark grey to black) on the bottom sheet. I considered sending them back but decided I did not want the hassle. Then while making the bed with the top sheet I saw another stain, very similar, obviously from the same source and event. I thought then, I should send them back, but after doing the laundry I was not in the mood to unmake the bed, send the sheets back and have to make the bed again with different sheets. I bought these as new sheets, other than the stains they are beautiful and of very good quality: cotton feels great, beautiful even color, and stitched with care. I like the sheets in spite of the stains but for their cost I think they should have been perfect (unstained).
