These sheets are definitely up to par with LL Bean quality. I bought them based on a Wirecutter review - their choice 7 years running. Unfortunately, they are just not for me. I have been buying high quality, usually high-end Italian made, sheets for many years. I thought I'd give these a try but the feel is not what I like. I like a crisp, flat cotton. These have a highly textured weave, the kind that makes a scratchy sound with fingernails. I am sure they would last for a very long time if that is your number 1 priority. They also wrinkle less than many higher priced sheets if that is important to you. I did speak with a LL Bean product specialist when I received them as I really felt they seemed part synthetic in make up. She was very professional and assured me of their 100% cotton quality and LL Bean's generous return policy if I wasn't completely happy with my purchase.

Although they seem like good quality, they were laughably big on my full mattress as some others have mentioned, causing extra fabric to sag on the side of the bed and wrinkles while sleeping. Unless you have an extra deep mattress I don't recommend trying them.

Disappointed to find that the wide picket made the sheet too big to have a smooth fit. Fabric very smooth and comfortable.

Color was yellow not beige and top sheet was much wider than previous LLBean sheets.

The sheets are very nice, but they do not fit my mattress, which is a 14" tall pillowtop. The corners fit snugly, but all four of the sides sag and bag, and will not stay tucked in, resulting in big ripples of sheet fabric under your body while you are trying to sleep. Wish we could keep, but must return.

Great sheets but way too large for regular size king mattress. Had to return.

I am not happy with the fit of the sheets, both the top and the bottom. The bottom looks like it would fit a king because it is so very loose fitting and the top is very large hanging very far over all sides. The quality of the thread count is very good.

It's fine. I'm not sure it's really worth the price you pay for it, though.

Fabric is scratchy even after wash/dry. Hope that improves over time. Fit is nice, quality good, just not soft or crisp.

Our king bed is square. These sheets are 2" longer than wide. They wash well and feel good to sleep on, so I am keeping them. But I'll be more careful to check the dimensions before I buy next time, as I'm constantly having to retuck them.

Sheets feel good but are too big for a king size bed. Way too expensive to not fit.

Pretty colors, well made, nice cool feel, but unfortunately very slippery. I'm tired of getting up at night to retrieve my bedcovers, so I'm going to exchange these. LLBean's helpful online rep suggested the sunwashed cotton or Egyptian cotton as nonslippery options.

Sheets are soft and crisp. Maybe too smooth where they are slippery and blankets slide easily, even after 3 washing's. Maybe after more it will lose a little sheen.

We loved these sheets when we first got them. They were a little longer than most Queen bed sheets which made them easier to put on the bed. After about a while (a year?) the bottom sheet started getting thinner and started getting shredded holes in it. So, we can still use to top sheet but the bottom one has worn out pretty fast--the part you sleep on.

The fabric is fairly thin. Almost see through. and the hem along the top of the sheet is fragile. The fit is fine for a thick mattress

They kept up cool, but wouldn't stay put on our bed. They were also not very soft. It felt like hospital sheets. I returned them and ordered some cotton sateen sheets. I don't think I am a fan of the pima percale style.

Mediocre fabric. Pillow cases need to fit snugger and enclose pillow better.

Sheets themselves are well made and comfortable. The elastic band is fairly worthless, a surprise given the cost of the set.

I bought these sheets to replace the LL Bean sun washed cotton percale sheets that I had purchased 4-5 years ago. I LOVED those sheets-thick, crunchy and crispy. These sheets did not wrinkle, collected lint/fur and were full of static. I wonder if they may have polyester in the mix. They were scratchy in a polyester way, not crisp and cool.

This is my 4th or 5th set of these sheets. I love the feel of the fabric, crisp but in a gentle way, very pleasing to the skin. My one disappointment this time has been in the fit of the the bottom sheet. I understand there is a lot of variation in what a "queen size" is, with mattresses with and without pillowtops, etc. However, this bottom sheet is much bigger than any of the previous ones of this same kind. Because it is "fitted" there is no way to make it fit tightly on the mattress. It not only looks unsightly, but it slips and slides with you when turning over. This would be a 5 star product if that sizing was rectified.
