Buy a pair! Almost the prefect shoe... Wear them almost anywhere. I am hooked on this style of shoe and think that LLB sets 'the quality standard'.

Excellent pair of moccasins; everything they were described by Bean to be. They fit my feet perfectly now and are very comfortable and they now are one of my preferred shoes to wear both around the house and when I go out.
This coupled with the fact that Bean's sevice is excellent and they provide fast delivery to your door. Keep up the great customer service.

The sole on my husband's original pair of these was starting to wear out. Before it does he asked me to get another pair so he wouldn't be without them. He loves them No fit problems.

My husband loves these shoes and only got a new pair for Christmas because his old ones are falling off his feet. He has very wide feet EE and these shoes are the best he has ever found.

I ordered the third pair of Camp Mocs recently. My husband uses these as slippers and casual around-the-house shoes to wear with jeans. He says they are comfortable and easy to slip on and off. They hold their shape well even after years of wearing. These shoes are well-worth the price!

This is my third pair! As with the previous two the quality for the price paid is an excellent value. Highly recommended.

For many years, my parents bought my brothers these LL Bean mocs for Christmas. That was long ago, and my parents are gone now, but I keep the tradition going.
These mocs are wonderful! They are so well made, good looking and comfortable. They are the finest quality, a tradition that I have come to expect from LL Bean, and LL Bean never fails to live up to its reputation.
Every man deserves to slip his feet into moccasins like these at the end of a long day's work. I highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about purchasing them. They are as solid in quality and appearance as they were years ago when my parents discovered them. Treat someone special, or yourself, to a pair of these moccasins, and you'll be glad you did. More to the point, HE'LL be glad you did!

These are a 12/25 gift for my husband to replace the pair he's wearing that have literally fallen apart with long-term use. Obviously, he's been very pleased with the fit and comfort of these shoes.

We've bought these moccasins before, so I already know my husband is going to loke them. They're his favorite shoe to wear, regardless of the weather.

This is a very good and durable product. This my second pair as my last pair lasted for many years. Being born club-footed makes it hard to buy shoes in the right sizes for my feet and having an 11.5 foot and a 9.5 foot is almost impossible to buy affordable shoes. LLBean is willing to let me purchase just one pair of two different sizes for me to ware without having to buy 2 pairs of shoes. Always a quality product eveytime I purchase from LLBean. Thanks so much.

LL Bean's Camp Moc is made of heaviest, quality leather, much thicker than a boat shoe. I was surprised at the comfort after a day's wearing. The high-quality stitching & sole confirms this as best moccasin I've ever owned; its looks great and is stable even to run in. Caution: the Camp Moc runs 1 full size larger than typical shoes and even size larger than LL Bean's Alagash Bison Oxfords I prize. I had to return my first pair of Camp Mocs for a smaller size.

my 5th pair in 35 years. The only thing that wears out is the sole. If LL Bean would resole, I might still be on my first pair

I have been hoping LLBean would offer these exact handsewn camp mocs again since I hadn't seen these exact ones for quite a few years years.
First off, let me say that these mocs will take some time to 'break-in' but don't let that stop you if you want a shoe that will eventually be comfy and wear like iron.
The leather on these mocs is exceptionally durable and the soles wear about 4x longer that other mocs sold in many 'outdoors' stores. And, if you have a real shoemaker in town, they can actually be resoled years later if necessary.
Back to tbreak-in. As LLBean notes in their write-up, the toe-area will be snug initially. Handswen mocs are made that way since the stitching itself is part of the break-in process that ultimately provides such a nice and comfortable fit. After a half-dozen to a dozen summer (sockless, especially) wearings they will start to 'ease' and eventually will fit like a glove.
An alternative (and my favored approoach) to get a great fit quickly (best when the weather is warm) is to soak the whole shoe about 60 seconds in warm (not hot!) water, then put them on (no socks) and wear them for the rest of the day -- clearly this is best done on a warm day off -lol- when you are doing chores in the yard/garage or can take a nice long walk -- or both. Bes sure to adjust the circumferential lace snugly so the leather thong will be part of the break-=in process. After a few hours of use (depending on activity) they will have relaxed and will be start feeling much more comfy. If the lace relaxes too much, just re-tie it tighter (and make sure the bow is very tight so it won't slip). If you feel any blisters developing (unlikely with this water method) take them off and continue the process in a week or two when all is good again. Generally one day is all it takes using this water method.
When the fit is nice and 'loose' retie the lace one more time (if needed, otherwise leave as is), take them off and let them fully air-dry (out in the open, not in a closet) for a couple days. DO NOT USE HEAT OR HOT AIR TO RUSH DRYING since that will just re-shrink the leather.
Once dry, try them on again and they should be nearly perfect. It's a bit on an unorthodox appraoch but has worked very well for me many times over teh years for breaking-in mocs that have an otherwise long break-in period like these, but the resulting fit and many years of enjoyment make it worthwhile, imo.
I also like that the soles on these mocs are very durable (and siped for traction on smooth surfaces, like a boat deck) and these mocs also work surprisingly well for walking woodland trails since they don't telegraph ground irregularities nearly as much as cheaper mocs do. They also have a wonderful lremoveable innersole that, though not leather, is very durable and comfortable ever for bare-foot use.
I virtually live in these mocs for all of the summer -- and for much of spring and fall here in upstate NY. So, while the purchase price isn't cheap, I find them to be an excellent value because of their quality construction, eventual comfort and exceptional long-term durability.
I'm so glad to see LLBean offering these again.

These are by far the most comfortable shoes ever made. Mine are off my feet only when I sleep. The innersole is very supportive and can be removed and replaced. When these camp shoes finally fall off my feet I will definitely buy some more. Thanks LL Bean for making these mocs.

Worn them since my Boy Scout days, too long ago to date! Perfect in every way and even stand up to attacks by Lab pups!
Wish the laces were a little longer so I could tie them in a square knot and whip the ends back on themselves like the old Scout days. As always, they are impossible to keep tied and that'd be a solution.

These are the only shoes my hubby wears. There are always at least 4 pairs available for him, one for nasty outdoor weather, one for everyday wear, one for special times and one to hold for when the nasty outdoor shoes finally wear out. Then it is time for a new pair-every few years.

I ordered an 11 EE to make sure the moc would be wide enough to accommodate a bunion. It did. On first wearing, the shoes felt slightly heel loose, but after a few days the sole flexed and that problem disappeared. I look forward to wearing this pair for the rest of my life.
