I loved the color and the fit of these. Sadly, I returned them because I'm allergic to wool and I needed to wear them with socks, but the slipper pulled my socks down as I walked around the house. If you can wear them barefoot - go for it. They're terrific in every other way.

The slippers are beautifully made and comfortable. I had to send them back because of the inside tags which were extremely uncomfortable due to the size and prickly and scratchy edges. The tags are unavoidable because they are sewn into the seam. I did not cut them out for fear thatcutting could unravel the seams. I have tried most of the Bean slippers this year trying to find something that is comfortable but eveyone that I have tried has those obnoxious uncomfortable tags in them.

The only thing I don't love about these slippers is the lumpy foot bed. It feels like they tried to put in an arch support on the wrong side of the shoe. I'm hoping that the foot-bed will flatten over time. That said, the bottoms of my feet are sore today from wearing them for a short time yesterday. The insole is not removeable. Other than that, the slippers are cozy, warm, soft and I love that they come up over my ankle. I really hope that the foot-beds flatten out soon so I can wear them more.

I am generally very satisfied with my LLBean purchases, but not this slipper. I purchased a size 10 for my slightly overweight elderly mother-in-law, who generally dresses herself, but has some difficulty reaching her feet to put on shoes. The slippers were impossible to get onto her feet, even with help. Way too tight in the instep. I took scissors and cut them an additional 2 inches along the top of the foot, because it's too much trouble to send them back. Now that they are cut, she can put them on by herself (though it's not easy because the back is soft and floppy). Once on, they are sturdy, warm, and secure. I would recommend only for people who have flexible ankles, and can easily reach their feet.

I love these slippers! They are so comfortable and warm. Best of all, they keep my ankles warm without having to wear socks. These slippers are anttractive and very well made.

I love these cozy slippers! I had the last pair for five years (I wore them almost constantly during the pandemic!) and they finally wore out enough - and I can still wear the old pair - that I decided to buy these as a Christmas present to myself!

Comfortable and warm. Fit is perfect. I use them for ballroom dancing when my feet are cold and gets them very toasty.

I LOVE THE HEIGHT! THEY COVER MY COLD ANKLE BONES, ESPECIALLY SINCE I CARRY TITANIUM IN ONE ANKLE AND HAVE NEUROPATHY IN BOTH FEET. I LOVE THAT THEY REQUIRE A SHOEHORN TO COMPLETELY DON.

These slippers are absolutely amazing. They have quality construction, made with suede and real shearling, they are comfortable and warm, and they provide protection and warmth all the way up to your ankles and stay on your feet securely I logged in to buy another pair and was told on social media that they have been discontinued which makes absolutely no sense as they are one of this company's highest rated slippers for women. I'm so disappointed in L.L. Bean for discontinuing these high-quality, highly rated, and popular slippers and will now be finding another company to buy something similar instead of giving my business to L.L. Bean.

I have narrow heels, and I've bought many pairs of slippers online that I had to return because they were too loose and unsupportive. Although these are medium wide, the wide Velcro straps make it possible for me to tighten the slippers around my ankles so the slippers feel secure. I also wear thick socks with them. Very nice! I hope they'll last a long time.

I bought a pair of these slippers 5 years ago. They are still comfy and well wearing. I wear them every day in the winter. They are still beautiful. The suede holds up and the shearling fur has not compressed. Mine are dark blue. Love these slippers!

Well constructed, soft and warm. I love that they keep my ankles warm!

These slippers are nice. With Velcro closing makes them adjustable. Keeps feet and ankles warm. And they have tread on bottom for nonslip and able to walk outside. I ordered my true shoe size.

I like this slipper. The toe box is wider than Women's Wicked Good Slipper which makes this slipper more comfortable to me. I like the high top. I feel it really helps keep my feet warm and my feet tend to be freezing most of the time. I like the rubber sole so I can walk outside a bit with this slipper. I said true to size. I usually wear a 9 1/2 narrow shoe. I ordered a 10 in this slipper. It felt very snug at first, but the lining conforms to my foot after wearing it a bit, so it is comfortable. This is the second pair I have purchased and I wear them all the time--winter and summer.

These slippers are wicked good! While having a strap doesn't make them easy on/easy off, they are perfect for those who's feet need a little something extra to keep a slipper on without giving your toes a workout trying to keep them on. You know who you are! These are great!

Reviews of this product gave me doubts about the fit and style, but I am happy to report that these slippers are deliciously warm and cozy. They are well made, with secure stitching, and the ankle fleece keeps drafts at bay . The rubber no-slip soles allow me to venture into my yard briefly. Being slippers, they do not offer arch support and must be tugged slightly to put on, but those are minor drawbacks. These slippers surpassed my expectations and I hope will solve my cold toes problems permanently.

These are the softest, warmest and most comfortable slippers I have ever owned I don't like taking them off once I am wearing them I tried a size 10 but it was a little too big since that was the shoe size I wear So I tried a 9 and it was perfect The width is great since I have wide feet I have read reviews where people had trouble getting their feet into the slipper but it's so problem if you just pull the tab back and pull it across after your foot is in the slipper I have tried other LL Bean shearling slippers and the Squam Lake is better than all of the others. I highly recommend this slipper

The Sherpa inside is so cozy warm. No more cold feet. I said they are true to size but I find them a little snug in the instep. Half size might be better but they only come in full size. The collar does not turn up which might make them easier to pull on.

These slippers are very well made, very comfortable, fit nicely and keep my feet warm. I like that you can adjust the closing strap so the slippers are snug.
