Super comfortable. One flaw: the labels are stitched into the low back of the heel and rub very uncomfortably. Cutting them out is extremely difficult. You should change the location to higher up for easiervremoval for those of us who are like The Princess and the Pea.

My feet and ankles stay warm and cozy, never hot or uncomfortable on any temperature day or night.

I've always had cold feet, and they're finally warm and comfy! I was a little hesitant to get these because some of the reviews said they were hard to get onto your feet, and I have a high instep (which is basically the same as having wide ankles, in terms of the fit/width); but I just used the little "find my size" tool and it was the same as my regular size. I can't speak to other people's experience, but I didn't have any trouble. You just have to open the velcro tab, that's what it's there for! And once they're on, they're not going to flop around or make you trip from being too loose. I've never had shearling slippers before, they are absolutely the warmest, comfiest things that have ever been on my feet. (And just to counter the people who say they run small--I sometimes wear a 9.5 and sometimes wear a 10, and I got a 10 here and they fit perfectly. So, it's within my normal range!) I'm so happy I got these! My feet will never be cold again.

These are truly the best slippers I've ever had. They are so soft, comfortable and warm!

I bought mine 3 years ago, and have loved them: ankle warmth counts for me! I like the velcro strap across the top because as they have become older, the slipper is looser and the strap is adjustable -- and accommodates differing sock thickness (I never wear them w/o socks). They are in use indoors all winter, and whenever my feet feel cold. (Like now, in May, because we seem to be having long, cold Spring.)

I have wanted to buy these slippers for at least 2 years, but they are a bit pricey so I held off. Winter was cold this year and I decided to bite the bullet and splurge. Oh my!! They are so warm and comfortable. I love the velcro strap!

The Squam Lake booties are a nice bootie for me. I wear these inside and outside the house and they are holding up well. I have trouble with pain in my feet and I appreciate the warmth and comfort of these

I'm picky about my slippers, so I wore these for a few days before committing. They're lovely--warm, cozy, and comfortable. Some reviewers have had problems putting them on, but, if you're willing to pull the velcro tab open, they go on easily, and the velcro lets you adjust if needed. They are very warm, so I'll be exchanging these for spring slippers, but they are keepers!

So comfortable, warm and supportive. Easy to get on and off with velcro cross tab. Love them and would buy them again!

Feet have been warm on concrete floors during sub zero temps outside. Narrow feet and heels even worse, Velcro gives assurance they won't be slipping off, causing a fall when using stairs.

I needed a slipper that would keep my ankles warm, these are perfect! There is a velcro strap, but you only want to use it for an initial adjustment for fit across your arch. Downside of these slippers is you can't just "slip" your feet in- need to pull them on, but that is also why they work so well to keep your ankles and feet toasty. Fit was to size, no arch support, but would not have expected that in a slipper, generally very well made. I also love that I can wear out onto the deck as the sole is a rubbery flexible thin sole. Very happy with this purchase.

These are my new go-to slippers! They are so comfortable and I can even wear them when I go to the store. They look like casual shoes.

Product is exactly as described. I live in a cold climate with a drafty house and these keep my feet very warm. They are very snug and fit just as described.

A review said her feet would squeeze into open. That worried me but once I got my booties, I just unstrapped the Velcro and it gives you more room. Once foot is in, just redo strap and I'm in blissful warmth and can walk my dog in freezing cold. I ordered same size as the iniquitous wicked good slippers and fit was perfect. I'm so glad I decided to order these Sqam Lake booties.

I love these booties! I suffer from cold feet and never seemed to be able to find slippers that would keep them warm, even in the house. That's all solved with these. Not only are they comfortable for walking, but they're soft and cuddly inside and my feet stay nice and warm - in fact, sometimes too warm! I haven't worn them outside, but I'm sure they'd keep my feet warm there, too.
