This was a gift for a co-worker who helped me this past year due to my auto wreck. I asked her to choose something from L. L. Bean, (with a price "cap"). She said, "I most definitely will!" A few days later, I received her request. After she wore her sandals for a few weeks, she sent me an email saying these are "really comfortable and I wear them everyday". I was glad to thank my colleague with an item that she needed. I thought of flowers and/or food, then decided it would mean the most to me to have a gift from "Bean". This person has a back injury and said they make her walking more comfortable.

I ordered these sandals as I have an older leather pair. I find them the most comfortable as I have problems with my feet ( Morton's neuroma) and the soles are shaped and cushioned to keep me walking with less pain. Glad you still have them!

While they were not immediately comfortable, after wearing them for several days, I grew to really like them. They are now comfortable for walking distances and great for rainy weather and the beach.

I bought these sandals 5 years ago, and have loved them! I bought a size 8, based on reviews back then, though I usually wear a 9. I wear these in the summer, and they are still holding up great. I have noticed reviews from people who purchased more recently that they sandals seem to have changed. Mine, however, from 5 years ago are GREAT.

This was my third order for these sandals. I have Morton's neuroma in both feet but have found I can walk without discomfort when using these sandals. They are well made and last for years.

Needed for a trip that included water and walking. Perfect shoe for departing boat in water and walking on land - both flat and uneven surfaces. Very comfortable for everyday wear as well. Very happy with purchase.

I have purchased these sandals for years. They are terrifically comfortable. My one complaint is that the sole at the toe wears away and frays. It should be reinforced or coated in some way to last longer. In every other way they are perfect!

This is the second pair of these shoes I've bought. Wore out the first pair!

These sandles are comfortably supportive of my feet. The straps adjust so that I'm able to wear them with a heavy wool sock in the winter. I walk in these sandles all year in all seasons, in all types of weather. I put 4 to 5 miles on these sandles every day. I've had one pair for 3 years and they're still going strong. I only wish they came in blue, green or brown. Great buy for the price. Love these sandles, My feet love these sandles.

These sandals are amazing! I have trouble with my feet and legs and it's tough for me to find shoes that either my feet or my knee isn't aching by end of day. Not so with these sandals! I've worn them all day walking thru the zoo and other places and the support and comfort these provide are amazing! Sure hope they make these in more colors!

I love the adjustability of the straps. Comfortable sandal all around. Great for all day walking and light hiking or gardening. More cushion than my chacos and narrower straps which I like. I have a wide foot and high arch and these adjust to just what I need.

I have a slightly wide foot (the ball, not the ankle) and have tried many different pairs of walking sandals, and they have all been too narrow until this pair. They work! I walk about 3 miles every day and have used these for the last 3 days, and they are very comfortable.

I have these sandals in the black color and I wear them all the time. They are just as supportive and comfortable as a good pair of athletic shoes. My feet are wide in the toe area and narrow in the back, so I really like that these are adjustable. They fit perfectly! I also bought the slides and they are super-comfortable and supportive, too.
