I bought these to use while fat biking, I needed some boots that would work with my flat pedals. Ordered one pair and they were super tight and my toes went all the way to the end of the shoe, I wanted to fit some thicker socks in them so I returned and bought a size up. Super glad I did that because I love these boots! They definitely take some breaking in, give them time they will get there! Now I love them for wearing not just while biking. My feet stay nice and dry and warm. Pretty dang good for these Wisconsin winters. I've hiked through some fairly deep snow with them on and my feet still stayed dry. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a great all around boot.

So comfortable for my feet and keep me warm. Was very surprised and pleased with how much heat they hold and the traction on the soles.

I live in a state where it snows approx. 6-9 months in a year so I thought I should give it a try. First of all it looks !! It's very comfortable and very warm inside due to the thick insulation. It is waterproof and slip resistant. Yes it is kinda bulky and heavy but I really don't mind since it serves it's purpose.

It's a great sneaker, I wish I can get another in size 12. It's is very worth it price and more for a winter sneaker, I had last year mte 2.0 and I wore them every day but the mte 3.0 are better I would pick them over my timberland boots any day they very much a little bit lighter. I wish you had more color in stock in your store.

I've bought these shoes 3 times now, in different colors. The one issue I have with them, is the rubber where the toes bend, always comes loose. But otherwise they're great.

Nice shoe. The stitching at the toe/tongue came apart after first wear though.

I live in the mountains, so I need a water proof and insulated shoe all winter. This is great for walking the dog, or just a casual day around town and the tread is ideal. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my feet got cold the other day, so I'm not sure what temperature they are rated for.

Thought MTE's used to have a softer, felt tongue or something, this just rubs too much into top of my foot but other than that they are incredible, very cool looking and comfy insoles, sturdy too.

Not as comfortable as the MTE 2's. Stiff on the feet and my toes did not stay warm in 40 degree weather. I bought them for the winter and snow.

Just got a pair of these. They are made great. Pretty heavy. But comfortable. I'd consider going a half a size up - they are fairly tight at the toe. It seems like they will break in well though, we shall see.

I work at a vans store here in Washington, and I was so excited to get a pair of these when we finally got them in. I currently have 2 different styles of these (the black ones and the cornstalk ones) and my dad loves and owns 2 pairs as well . There are so comfy and keep my feet warm, and the styles are sleek and elegant. The only issue I have is I that I have noticed that the soles have some sort of adhesive issue in the inner workings, and every time I step there's a pop. (My dad says he hasn't noticed anything and he wears a larger size then me so I'm not sure if it's only in smaller sizes?) I've noticed that it goes away with enough walking around but it will come back if you leave them sit for a while. It seems to be a consistent issue with every style I've tried on. It happens on both the left and right foot. It was a little upsetting to see that the 2nd pair i ordered had this issue as well, however I still highly recommend these simply because they are such and awesome shoe, and I feel like I could take them to the Himalayas and be totally fine. Just to be safe, I'd suggest trying to get a style at a Vans store to try them on and make sure they don't have the adhesive issues in the sole :)

I love the idea of the Sneaker boot. Vans hit it out of the park with this genre of shoes/boots. I tried them out and they were unusually hot. I wore the thinnest socks I had and my feet were just not breathing in these boots. I know they are made for winter and they are waterproof, but they were not breathable for me at all. I hope they can improve this for the MTE 4. Granted I do live in Florida, but I wore these when it was in the 50's so I'm pretty sure it wasn't the weather making my feet hot. They are very cool but they are very hot.

I had to return the first pair I got because the sole one left boot wouldn't stick to the shoe. Every time I stepped I could hear and feel the sole come apart. Sounded like ripping a sicker off something and resticking it. I Ordered another pair and had the same issue with the left boot but not as bad. I'm not sure if Vans makes their boots like Twix does and has a left and right factory but they need to tel the left shoe factory they have a glue problem.

I give these shoes a 4 star because the shoes are amazing and would be almost perfect but the quality of the glue used or maybe lack of proper molding the construction of the shes had made it unwearable and I bought these shoes to wear during the winter. It's 100% Waterproof even when the shoes are falling apart still dry feet. Styling is great but the construction of these shoes is really bad I have never purchased a Van the front of the bottom of the shoes just completely flops off the first month. It's sad I can not wear these shoes any longer.

Great looking boot. Comfortable. Fits well. I'm a size 6 in all Vans, these fit the same. Was hoping they'd keep my feet warm in wet or light snow, unfortunately, first use that was not the case. Despite being the highest rated MTE shoe with Goretex, cannot say I am surprised. If you want a good winter boot, buy a specializing brand. If you want the Vans style this is a good option.

The fit is nice, and they're warm. My only issue is that the toe cap has a strong rubber smell, and after 2 months it's not going away.

The shoe is warm and kept my feet dry in snow, dont step on ice and it wont slip anywhere. The shoe does have quality issues. parts are coming unglued or separating either on the first wear or within a couple of days. This to me is nowhere near the quality of what vans and the MTE line used to be. i still have a pair of MTE 2 from 3 years ago that havent ripped or came unglued. At least they look good.

These shoes are awesome feeling but sadly I've only worn them a grand total of 4 times and the rubber has already pulled away from the shoe. I don't go hiking nor do I go out and do anything extreme in these. For the amount I spent on them I would expect better durability.

Ive owned my pair for about 3 months now and they are the one most comfortable boots I've owned. I wear them almost everyday hiking, work, and just casual. Only complaint I have is on the quality of the boot. My right boot is beginning to tear where the toes bend.

My husband and I both bought these last month. Literally the most comfortable and warm winter boots living in the mtns with snow, ice, rain, mud and cold. Unfortunately both of our shoes are falling apart. They started making a sticky squeaking sound when we woukd walk, come to find out the sole is detaching from the shoe and delaming on both sides. So very disappointing and sad for shoes to cost so much and not even lart a month
