I do a lot of walking. Have plantar fasciitis. I like the heel feels more supported and when you walk it feels coddled and doesn't pound the pavement. I am normally a 10.5 4e. The 10.5 is too small for me so I had to go up to 11 4e both in the v3 and v4. I like the mesh toe box over the cotton feel of the v3 because when you walk thru grass it doesn't catch all the grass shards like in the v3. If I could make one recommendation is I prefer the v3 tongue better. I actually can turn the v3 into slip ons with runners lock and tighten when I run. But v4 the thin mesh tongue slides down and have to pull it up. The v3 tongue was fatter and cushier and didn't slide. I still wear both a lot. Rotating. But the v5 Next needs to be merged with both for the perfect shoe. But as far as heel pain and planter fasciitis the v4 feels great. And when you walk or run don't feel the heel pounding. The v3 I felt more of the heel pound even with the cushion. Merge the v4 heel and toe box with the v3 tongue and you got a winner. But overall I like the v4 a lot.

The shoe was too tight. I wear 9.5 but maybe should have gotten a 10. However, there is something strange in the arch. I felt like I was being poked in the arch by fabric.

Style was good but the shoe felt too big. 1080 gave me more support.

I feel like I was wearing a platform shoe, too tall. To much cushion, caused a lot of knee discomfort with wearing them longer than 3 hours. I'm returning both sets I bought for the older style of New Balance I've had, that Zappos still carries.

I have been, and will continue to be, a New Balance fan, but this pair has a design flaw in the way the tongue is attached/stitched to the shoe. The tongue left and right side curl in from the point it is attached to about halfway up the tongue. You have to physically place your finger down the side of the tongue as you put the shoe on to ensure the tongue lays flat against your foot and is not curled under . . . very odd for New Balance product. I would appreciate feedback from NB.

Toe box is slimmer. Not a true "wide" anymore.
Stack is super cushiony. Incredible for middle distance.
V3s were/are a 9.5 4E and I had to go to a 10 4E in the V4 just to accommodate extra width in the toe box. And it's STILL too narrow for a 4E (looks like the black 4E aren't offered anymore).
If a V5 is offered, they'll need to go back to the "square" toe box like the V3. Otherwise, I'll migrate to Altra Via Olympus.

Its a really boxy sneaker with a lot of cushion and on heavier side weightwise. Feet get really snugged so gotta wear thin socks. I stay up on my feet whole day and this shoe provides good support.

I have a pair of the 1080 v12 and they fit me perfectly, this pair of shoes however is too loose and I have to wear thick socks with them. They look like Skechers shape ups also.

Good shoe as far as cushion goes, but NB has made the oldest trick/mistake again. In order to make a shoe cheaper but still charging more, they cute off about a half inch curve on the INSTEP.
The more v4 4E width actually only measures to be a 3E.

Redesigned logo creates an uncomfortable hot spot for me where the composite brand design is moved too far forward and negates the benefit of the stretch material on the upper just where I need it the most. The old logo on the V3 was more to the rear and out of the way from the widest part of my foot, thereby making the older version much more comfortable.

I workout at Orange Theory and the base of this shoe will not fit in the holster of the rowers. I actually injured myself trying to focus on keeping my foot from slipping while rowing. Do not recommend these shoes if you are using equipment to work out. I imagine they would be comfortable for just walking, but they aren't what ai needed.

I've had the More v3 and absolutely love the shoe! Was excited to try the v4. I do like the extra cushion feel, but I think the upper fit is too sloppy/wide now for the fiont half of the shoe. The footprint/base of the shoe also seems wider vs. the v3 and feels like New Balance is morphing to more of a "clutzy" Hokka style shoe. Also don't like the tounge as it slides and the edges fold over some time. Overall still love the More line but I wish New Balance would have kept everything the same from the v3 but added more cushion.

So I've owned two other pair of NB and love them purchased what I thought to be the same style but instead orderd the Fresh Foam x.... instead of sending back I decided to keep them. Not a huge fan of the FFx just a little to thick for me and gives an unbalanced feeling. Still love the fresh foam and will order again!

The discontinuation of the Beacon really pulled the rug out from under me. Everyone has the perfect show and that was it for me. The More V4 is an acceptable substitution but frankly, it comes at a ridiculous price. It has an unbelievable cloud like comfort that takes all the impact out of my stride. But as a regular Joe, I can't justify buying any more in the future.

Love the width but, the foam in the middle is so much they activate my calves and the muscles on my shins on runs. These are also not made for doing any conditioning walks.

These shoes seem to be built up on the inside of the arch more than normal. After wearing them for about a week, I noticed my hips were hurting. After talking to my chiropractor and massage therapist, they have both confirmed that these shoes are making my legs bow out, causing issues with the IT Bands in my body.

I loved the more v3s these are more of a moka type toe box witch I hate. Im a forefoot striker and these just feel heavy on my feet. Quality control is bad second pair just to tight. Regret buying.

The v3's at least had the color painted down onto the side of the sole so that it didn't look AS obvious that you were talking on 3 inches of foam. Now? It looks like the designers just gave up on trying to keep these shoes as great "everyday" shoes without feeling like you're prepping for a New York City marathon. Who the heck signed off on these? Yikes!

THE NEW EVEN MORE FOAM X VERSION 4 SOLE FEELS TO SOFT AND GIVES THE FEELING OF THE FOOT BEING LOOSE COMPARED TO THE SAME SIZE VERSION 3 EVEN MORE FOAM X
TOO MUCH CHANGE IN THE CONSISTENCY OF THE SHOE SOLE, IT SHOULD PROVIDE MORE LATERAL FOOT SUPPORT

Typical dirizzly day in seattle. Ran for 10mins but had to stop as the interior of the shoes was all soaked with water, up and down... the road was wet but i did not remember i ever ran into a puddle. will keep them only for sunny days..but won't recommend them to others

NB fresh foam shoes were recommended by my foot and ankle surgeon due to a chronic issues that I have with feet. I have purchased different NB fresh foam models and have had excellent results. I deliberately ordered the shoes in a larger size and EXTRA WIDE. I have than found this model to be be MUCH narrower than my previously purchased NB shoes. In addition, the top of shoes rub on my large toes, causing red marks. Lastly, the shoes were stated to be "BLACK". The shoes received are not true black; they are actually a shade of dark silvery grey.
