I had the coat before. Matter of fact being tall and having tall daughters we all have this coat. Both coats are extremely warm!!! But my new version has no inside pocket nor a mechanism to tighten the hood in the wind.

After reading several reviews, I thought I was getting the warmest coat on this site. Turns out, that a 20 dollar coat at BJs was warmer than this one. Fits nice but not warm enough for extreme cold temps. Sad purchase.

It is very nice and warm, but needs inside pockets. More pockets.

I bought this coat for $300 and barely wear it due to the incredible cheapness and impracticality of the plastic zipper. Even my Calvin Klein down coat from Macys (half the price) has a sturdy metal zipper. You should be ashamed at what youre charging for this.

Extremely warm and comfortable. Just wish marmot produced petit sizing. But I bought anyway.

This coat is super warm! It was 0 degrees in Michigan and I was warm with just asweater underneath!! I was cold with my old one. The only thing I don't like is the collar, it's quite stiff and it keeps rubbing my chin. I wished I ordered a bigger size.

Fantastic wam jacket that isnt another black puffy piece that everyone else has. Nice length for wind coverage, the waterproof outside is perfect for Colorado weather. Would recommend highly.

I really like this coat. I was looking for a warm rain coat to wear for PNW winter dog walks so it needed to be both effective in the rain (although I didnt want to totally splurge on goretex), long to cover my hips that get cold, and warm without being super bulky feeling. The green color is great; it feels neutral while yet also distinct, and it makes me feel mildly more visible than my usual black attire. I usually opt for size small in outerwear to allow room for layering, but I took a gamble on a super discounted XS. It paid off! Its warm enough that I dont need to really layer, but if I have a chunky sweater on the fit is still comfortable.
My few complaints are very minorI find the hood a bit short, which may be because Im used to more tech rain gear that is fitted for helmets. I also find the hood to be oddly loud, something I saw commented on elsewhere. The front of the jacket also zips pretty high and the fabric is quite stiff, so I find I rarely zip it all the way up. This is usually fine, although there has been the odd blustery cold day where I contemplate the discomfort of the stuff fabric jabbing my chin vs having a cold neck.
All in all, a great winter jacket and so far it has been impressively water proof. Im not one to skimp on a walk in the rain and I have yet to see any breakthrough dampness.

The fabric seems of good quality.
However, the coat is heavy, and the shape is not flattering on me. If I see it in person, I would not purchase it. It is final sale, so I am stuck.

This coat looks more beautiful in person. I like the length and the fit. The quality is great and it feels really warm. I have a lot of jackets and coats but I think this jacket can become my favorite ( I havent worn it yet ). I cant wait to wear it in a very cold day. Im so excited and happy with my purchase.

This coat is extremely warm, waterproof and wind proof. It is nice to have a hood that detaches. I would give the coat 5+ stars if it had an inside zip pocket to hold my phone. The outsides pockets are ample to put my hands in. I do like the cuffs on the sleeves also. Nice length and roomy enough to wear a puffy vest or jacket underneath for very cold weather. Many compliments on the green color.

Nice coat, but I returned it because I didn't care for the heavy fabric. It felt rubbery, which probably made it waterproof.

I love this coat! Its warm, which was my primary reason for buying it. The bonus is that it also looks stylish. Im so tired of puffer coats!

The jacket feels heavy and thick to touch. Depending on the sweater I wear, it does keep me very warm. I wish the hood was a little deeper and the neck area is a bit too high for me and it keeps hitting my chin when zipped all the way up. I like the fleece lined pockets and sleeves.

This coat is comfortable and warm. I am a size 10 and 59. I went with a large. I dont find that this coat runs big.

The sleeves are still a bit long for petite ( 157cm, 52kg ), although it is not too obviously weird on me I would still prefer to get one that is tailored for petite body frame and unfortunately it is quite hard to find one on the market.
I got size XS and if I lose more weight, this jacket would be too big, and they don't have smaller size available.
agreed with other reviewers that it lacks an inner pocket to be perfect, but for the price I paid I am fine with it.
the button around the neck is a bit hard to close when I want to. I love that the hood is removable and doesn't have fur.
I wonder if they have a male version short coat? I would love to get one for my brother.
overall, I don't regret my unreturnable final sale purchase of this coat

I did a lot of searching for the perfect warm, waterproof, yet stylish coat for a winter trip and landed on this as the best overall. However, I am SO annoyed that there is not a single inner pocket! I just assumed there would be one because why wouldn't there be? It's such a basic and expected feature in any coat, even the cheapest ones. I am going to take it to a tailor to see if I can get one sewn in - not thrilled about spending extra money on an already expensive coat but I did get it on sale so I'm justifying it that way. Please do not put out such high quality items that lack these basic essential features!

I really love this coat. I'm 5'6", about 117 lbs and purchased an XS. It's lightweight and very warm, it will do a good job during a Michigan winter. I like the stiff neck and zipper cover as it keeps the wind off the neck and chest. The cut fits nicely as well. My only complaint is the recycles material the shell if made out of is a bit odd.. it attracts lint and the black color is not very black. Overall though, I'm pleased with my purchase.

This coat feels very warm and high quality for the price. It runs large. When I purchased it the fit said runs small. At the time of this review it now says true to size. Im between a small and a medium (34 bust / 29 waist) and from marmot I usually wear a medium. I exchanged the medium for a small and its still quite roomy but Im going to keep this size to have plenty of room to layer.

Got the Nori in my usual size. Fits great. The material looks sturdy enough to withstand the elements, the fleece lined pockets are great for the cold. But it could do with at least an internal pocket. Sometimes I carry a credit card and/or my ID on my walk, just in case I need it. With no internal pockets I feel I'll lose them if I carry them in my outer pockets.
Overall, a great jacket for very cold days. Though I haven't had to try it out since winter has been warm, I love the waterproof feature. Also I saw what one reviewer said about the Nori color, stains can show easily. I returned it to get the black color.
