I have been using this to start off on a cold day hike many times now during this winter. It kept me warm when I needed it. Once I started to warm up, I can pack it away in my pack easily. Pretty light for what it can do.

I bought this jacket in December as I needed a new mid layer for skiing. It was super warm and packed down easily. Only lost one star as you could see the dark coloured down through the material, but 5/5 in function

I have this jacket in the lovely when clean Dew Drop color, which is very light, thus necessitating frequent washing otherwise even with infrequent use the cuffs and collar become dirty rather quickly. Therein lies the issue. I have followed all of the washing instructions to a T. I have washed this jacket with other down jackets manufactured by other pricey and reputable outdoor brands and this one is a disaster. After three cycles in the dryer with two tennis balls and two wool dryer balls all of the down clumps to the backside of the arms - my other brand jackets came out fluffy as ever with no clumping/migration issues with the down. This has happened every time I have washed the jacket (even by itself), so I can only conclude that it must be a defect with the jacket, not my washing procedure. I have many, many other Arc'teryx pieces that have been wonderful (the Patera Parka is one of the best in my closet and I wear it daily in the winter), but this jacket just does not live up to the advertised quality and "innovative" design of the Arc'teryx brand. Based on other reviews I've read regarding the issues with the down, how long the warranty process takes (2+ months), and the likelihood that the company will determine this isn't covered by warranty as it has done with so many other purchasers of this jacket, I am probably stuck with a very expensive purchase that cannot be washed (this is usually very dirty looking) or else it won't be insulating and will likely stay in the closet.

I've had this jacket for about 6 months and haven't had major issues. It fits well and is really warm. When it's raining, I always wear a Goretex rain jacket. My only comment is that the brown feathers showing through the bright coloured jacket makes it look dirty and mottled. It's most obvious around creases (elbows and armpits). At first, I thought it was actually dirt and did a thorough clean (followed the instructions arc'teryx put out for washing down). When the jacket looked essentially the same after the wash, I realized it was probably something else and it looks to be a common issue with the dark feathers. If you want a lighter colour, pause and decide how much you care about this since you are dishing out a lot of money.

I bought this a few weeks ago. Now that it's started to rain, you can see all the dark feather down through the jacket. I'm quite disappointed this was overlooked in the design process. My advice is to choose a dark coloured jacket so that this does not happen to you.

Numerous feathers poked out in the back very often. It's very ugly and will loose warm. For the price of the jacket I was very disappointed in the quality, even my another budget one has no such problem.

I bought this jacket as a treat to myself last Christmas as a needed a lightweight insulated down layer for the long shoulder seasons in the Canadian arctic and backpacking trips. It is lighweight and packs down well but you can only use it if you plan on just sitting in it or doing commuting. I have only used it for some light activity and usually under a shell, despite this I still have several large rips that shed feathers that I've had to tape up. Severally disappointed as I love all of my other Arc'teryx gear.

It cannot be published to the website, but.. I bought this jacket thinking it could be worn as a mid layer and standalone. The feathers show through because the color is too translucent. It makes the jacket look discolored. For this reason I would not recommend buying this jacket for anything else but a mid layer in the light colors.

As a 5ft11 female with an athletic build, I have to wear a Men's S in order to fit my arms. I'd love to see more women's tall jackets that fit those of us with longer torso's and arms. Aside from fit, this jacket is a perfect layer to throw under my shell, and comfortable wearing on its own for added warmth on dry days.

Got it when Sporting Life had it onsale during Lockdown. Super light and warm, nice cut on the waist. Usually wear S for Arc'teryx dress and sweaters, need M for this jacket, S still fits but won't be enough room for sweaters. As some of the reviews metioned, has down feathers come out, yes, I do see some tinny feathers flying, but not a lot.

I bought this during the Labor Day sale, and it has been my go-to jacket since. I live near Anchorage, AK, and we have lots of cool, damp weather 35-50 F. So far it has been good to wear with just a sweater, but as it gets colder, I may need a shell jacket to go over it. I haven't had any feathers come out, fingers crossed. Also I am in love with the color, I picked Whiskey Jack and it is the richest, darkest plum. I do think it runs a little small, I had to size up to a large

I bought this jacket a week ago and I've worn it just to and from work. The down is already coming out of the seams and there is a small hole in the sleeve. I had been researching jackets for about a month and finally purchased this one. Really disappointed because of the price. Not worth the investment because it has started coming apart

I purchased this hoody on December 2015. I trusted Arcteryx's quality, since I have very positive experience with the hardshell jackets and middle layer. However, this Cerium LT hoody, keeps leaking down. I'm not sure whether it can maintain the same level of warmth as promised after several months. Quite disappointed!!

I've been eyeing this beauty for two years to replace my OR down jacket and somehow the bf figured out to get it for me. I'm 5'8"/150lbs and this baby seems tailor made! The arms on most Arc'teryx gear is longer than most companies which keeps me coming back-I now have three jackets, a set of base layers, and one mid layer top. I can reach out and the arms don't expose my wrists; when I reach up, my midriff isn't exposed, which is so rare in down jackets. The Cerium LT Hoody is amazingly light and wonderfully warm; ideal for Utah's mountains. Whether I'm in Little Cottonwood, PC, the Uintas or in town, this is the perfect jacket.

I bought this for a trip to Kilimanjaro, and I absolutely love it. The left pocket has a pouch the jacket stuffs into and is easy to pack away when not needed. I wore this coat mostly at night when we were at camp and was warm right away. On summit night, I wore this under my Beta AR jacket, and was warm enough (there were a few more layers in there...) that I ended up hiking zippers open for a good bit of the night - until it got really cold about 4 am and near summit (-25C that day) -and then zipped I was warm! Living in Houston, I am going to struggle to find a need for it - but it will be good for visiting family living in the north during winter time!

A great jacket, either as an outer layer in dry coolish (-10 C) conditions, or as a midlayer under a shell. The fit is snug, which contributes to the nice cut fit of this jacket. The ability to pack it down to such a small size will come in handy while traveling. The zipper seems a little light weight and possibly flimsy, so we'll see how it stands the test of time (however, don't let the zipper stop you from buying the jacket!). This is, in fact, my second jacket of this model, as I had to buy one exactly like this for my wife. As soon as I got mine, it was "Nice jacket!" and every chance she had, she took it! It was either lose it to her, or buy another one...the choice was obvious!

Surprised the down leaks out. Not only through stitching but it has also punctured the fabric near the pocket. I thought this product wouldn't leak down given the price tag. Anyone else had similar issue?

I absolutely LOVE this jacket. I own this jacket in Nighthawk and LOVE the color! It keeps me warm layered with the Delta LT jacket in 10 degree weather, even when super windy!!! My only complaint is that I also ordered this jacket in Ganziana Blue (was going to keep both) but could see the dark feathers through the material. The dark feathers made the jacket look dirty. I had this same problem with the "Firefly" color in the Thorium AR. I would have kept both of these jackets as the colors ARE AMAZING but sadly the dark feathers were a problem! Please please PLEASE Arc'teryx, fix this for next year!!!

Bought the Cerium Lt Vest first. Funny, wasn't sure I would keep it, but I never take it off :) Bought the Cerium Lt Hoody on a whim when they offered free express shipping. I know I've said it already but I love this jacket. The combination is very warm, comfortable, light....can't say enough good about it. I have found that occasionally the neck on some Arcteryx jackets bug me a little - not the Cerium Hoody. May even buy it in another color.

I love my new Cerium LT hoody. I bought the Nighthawk color and I wear it all the time. I live in Vancouver and it's great on those cool days around town, or under my shell on colder/wetter days. It's perfect for curling, hopefully snowshoeing when the snow arrives. Mom has the one without the hood and she adores it. The lightweight nature combined with a nice not overpowering warmth is perfect. The hood is perfect: fits exactly and you can still look to the left or right and have complete visibility. Very happy!

I have been eyeing this down fill hoody for a couple of seasons and bought it about a month ago. I have been wearing it around town and it has kept me cozy and warm. I bought it with winter trail running in mind - the fact the hoody packs into it's pocket and can be tucked into a backpack or easily attached to a pack is a huge plus.I travel a fair amount to races and before and after the races also can get very cold! Jacket is super lightweight and belies the warmth. The fit is incredibly flattering. I am about 5 ft and 115 lb and size small is perfect - gives me room to layer should I need to. I chose to buy it in blue and loved the color. Even though I don't always use the hoody part, I love having the hoody. And fyi a toque fits neatly underneath the hoodie. The jacket is pricey, but a good investment.

very light and warm, even enough for -20c + with your shell on top and fleece/ base layer I found. Very well designed and manufactured, although expensive! I have to say, the best out there at the moment
