I am on my third pair of Salomon speedcross trail shoes. They are a great trail shoe for keeping you from slipping on the trails. I have also used them to walk on the rocky California coastline and they allowed me to walk across the slippery rocks without falling.

Used these in Guatemala & Iceland - great for the dirt, sandy environments but also great for the harder, rougher environments. Has held up quite well and super comfy! Grip is quite great. Retains a bit of water if soaked in water environments, ensure to dry well afterwards.

Salomon's Speedcross series are the most comfortable, sturdy, well-fit shoes I've ever owned. I'll never buy another brand or style, period. Speedcross are well-constructed for nearly every purpose. They provide support for a long hike or walking all day, flexibility for running, grippiness for muddy terrain, waterproofing on the bottom and sides, breathability for hot days, good mesh material for cold days, and the nose is slim enough for biking with foot cages. The zip-tie laces are brilliant. I've never had a blister or an irritated spot in these shoes (even after wearing them 48 hrs straight), which is something I cannot say for any other shoe I've tried--whether for marathons or urban walking or steep mountain hiking. I have a slightly narrow foot and high arch, so many Salomon shoes are a poor fit for me. But the Speedcross design holds my foot all around, with enough room for my toes to be secure but not crowded. Yet, these shoes are the like "the sisterhood of the traveling pants": My friend has a wider (normal width) foot, and her Speecross perfectly fit her foot as well.

Had 3 pairs then they changed and were really thick. This pair is back to the original and fits like a glove and is comfortable from the first wearing. Love em

Shoes are light in weight yet very well constructed. I had a few questions during the ordering process and then exchanged for a smaller size. The process was easy and efficient. Unfortunately, it is rare these days to get such excellent service and it was so appreciated! I almost always wear a size 7.5 but exchange for a size 7, which fit great

I loved my Speedcross 5 for hiking that I had to get the Speedcross 6 for my daughter. We both have narrow feet and these fit like a charm. No break-in period. There's cushion and support in all the places you need it. Excellent traction, too!

I fell in love with the look, first off! Then when I first tried them on I was a bit intimidated because I had no idea how to tie them. I figured it out after studying the diagram that came with the shoes. The first walk I took with my Salomons was somewhat unfamiliar and my feet were sore. But now that I've taken many walks in them I pretty much prefer them over any of my other walking shoes I own. I definitely plan on buying more pairs in the near future.

MY husband and I have been wearing Salomon Speed Cross shoes for over 8 years now and have not found a better shoe for the trails, as well as every day wear. We have tried other Salomon products, but this particular shoe is the best for us! It is comfortable, wears well, has superb traction and an overall great look. We couldn't ask for more!

I have been wearing salmons for years. I love the speedcross style and have many versions. I truly enjoy the fun design of this version.

I adore my new Speedcross 6! You do not fail to produce the best! The fit and style is superb! So comfortable and true to size! With having a narrow foot with a high arch I have never found a trainer better for me!! Complete support and just an absolute pleasure to wear on my wee treks!! Love them! Also..the colour is divine!! x

I've tried your road shoe styles but prefer the Speedcross trail style because of the fantastic ankle support provided to runners like me without strong arches. I wear these everywhere -- even on the treadmill. Plus the mint color and style draw all kinds of compliments. I also like the little tuckaway pocket you added for the shoestring in addition to the original pocket. I just wish you had the same style without the heavy lugs for road running where we don't need the intense grab offered by the heavier lugs on these trail shoes. Till then, I'll keep buying the Speedcross.

I'm a competitive women's USPSA women's shooter and these are amazing for outside on rough terrain and indoors. These are so comfortable, lightweight, and easy to lace up. Highly recommend. They fit true to size.

I love all the Speedcross Series, the only complaint is that for the Speedcross 6 you released very few colors, compared to the previous series.
