I love the drawstring tie on this shoe. Very comfortable and lightweight. Trail ready right away. I do wish they made a women's Gor-tex version of this shoe in wide sizes.

I love these shoes for slick rocks and mixed terrain. The soles are a bit stiff when I hit any road, but I don't seem to notice the stiffness at all when I'm on gravel or trail. I wear a wide shoe and I wish they wouldn't make their only wide color available PURPLE. A neutral would be nice if it's going to be limited colors.

Perfect for running agility. It is light yet has the traction I need.

My last pair lasted me surprisingly awhile for a few years but I knew they were starting to breakdown. Then when they finally gave up the ghost, I wanted color. I had all black before. I was a little worried my new ones would potentially not be the same just in my experience sometimes new makes or each shoe may vary ever so slightly. I love the color and when I went to break them in on a 13 mile run which probably wasn't ideal initially, they did well! The first half mile was slightly questionable with just a little twinge of pain but then felt fine after on the rest of the trail and varying terrain. These are the only shoe I have tried so far where my feet aren't killing me after several miles so I appreciate this shoe and consistent performance!!! I am pretty flat footed and have narrow feet.

The Speedcross are truly the ONLY trail running shows that I love. This version is excellent. They are so comfortable, sturdy, and I love the lacing system. I will keep on wearing these!

Purchased these a few weeks ago. Very comfortable, great support. Love the grip on the sole, great traction.

These shoes are comfortable as well as functional. I walk many hours a day for work and often experience foot pain. I have already noticed an improvement since I started wearing these shoes. They have an aggressive tread that gives me a good grip on different surfaces. There is good arch support and sufficient cushioning in the insole. They are a true wide width and my toes no longer hurt at the end of the day! I like that the heel goes up higher at the back then with other runners. It feels secure and doesn't cause blisters. These shoes don't put any pressure on any parts of my feet. They appear to be more water resistant than other shoes. There is an edge around the base of the material that seems to protect from wetness when I'm walking through wet grass. I am still getting used to the bungee lacing system and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. It takes me a bit to adjust it to my liking, but once they are done up, they stay in place. No laces to come undone anyway. I can tell that these shoes are well made and will be durable over time. I feel like these shoes offer good value for the money and I am really enjoying them so far.

Love these shoes, had the same style for my last pair. For great and first day hiking no pain.

I bought these shoes to start training for the Camino De Santiago, a walking pilgrimage. I am 58 and suffer from plantar fasciitis, mainly from age, being over weight and wearing poorly supportive shoes. These shoes are fantastic! The orthotics are perfect for my feet! I couldn't be happier. I've bought other orthotic shoes that have helped when walking on even terrain, but I feel these shoes have been like finding a gem for me. Thank you Salomon's for making a trail runner with a wide width and for having a quick tie system! Awesome!

I bought my first pair for hiking and I loved how amazing my feet felt in them after hiking many miles! I decided on another pair for daily wear as well.

This is my 5th pair. Great features: stiff and protective sole, some kind of magic in the insole; excellent last, and the arch hits in the right spot; speed laces plus little place to tuck them; not too heavy; toe box ok for wider feet; true to size. I wear these for walking/hikingat least 30 miles a week, mostly but not entirely on trails (dirt, scrub, grass). The sole has a reasonable lifespan; upper is surprisingly tough and on every pair has outlasted the sole. I don't care for the puce color of the women'sbut got it dirty enough right away that I don't mind.

I have been wearing Solomon's for years. Best fit and comfort for my feet!

Really like the fit - and traction in trails, rocks and ready to use for spring adventures.

I bought Speedcross 5 and now 6 at 9 month intervals, but not for trail running nor for use in the great outdoors. I love them because my feet feel amazing and resilient in them while working for 9 hours a day, 5 days a week on concrete flooring. I log over 12,000 steps a day at work and these shoes provide my feet with excellent traction and comfort all day, every day. Between lifting merchandise, pivoting quickly, or pushing and pulling freight carts that can weigh upwards of 800 pounds - it's my Speedcross 6 shoes I rely on to energize my feet and legs all day. Wouldn't want to work without them. The fact that the colors are bright and crisp ~ well, that's just a happy bonus!

I have worn these everyday since I received them. They traverse wet and dry rocky slopes with deadfall daily. Although not as light as some trail runners the tread and grip are far superior to any similar shoes I tried. They replaced a nearly three year old pair I was wearing daily. A few suggestions include carry more wide widths, tack the boot to the tongue so it does not need to be pulled up when you slip them on and attach the bottom of the elastic shoe lace more securely. Even though I run the elastic under the cross hatch laces the bottom can catch on woody debris.

Have used these for years and love that Salomon has made these a little wider. Great in the mud!

I bought it after tryed at least other 3 brandsvery famous, even other Salom's shoes, but, THIS IS THE ONE for trail running.

I have a similar pair that I bought about a year ago and this midel is now my go-to. I hike every day with my dogs and love the fit and the traction. I bought my usual 7.5 size (I am a 7 in regular shoes) and these feel a tiny bit smaller than my last pair. Different factory so it's possible? Nonetheless, my Salomons keep me safe and confident on trails and muddy surfaces.
