Been wearing Speedcross for past several years. (Switched when they quit making the Comp shoe). I like the 6, but did notice the new rounded toe and what seems like lighter weight fabric across the forefoot area. Hoping it's as durable as the previous model. My biggest wish would be for at least one solid black or navy shoe color. I don't mind flashy colors, but when traveling I like to take a more subdued color. The Speedcross holds up well on the rocky trails I run on a daily basis, but for people needing cushion, this is probably not the shoe for you.

This is probably my 4th or 5th pair of speedcross trail shoes and I pretty much live in them. The grip is amazing and the fit super comfortable, plus I give them bonus points for being able to accomodate a supportive ankle brace. Since I found my first pair of Salomon's I've become a bit of an addict .... hiking boots, snow boots, trail shoes I have them all.

I love everything about these shoes! I chose them as being least likely to attract grass seed heads due to their tightly woven uppers. Have had no seeds in them yet. They fit well as long as I wear light socks, and the grip is amazing. Warning: I did have a fall when I ignored the instructions to tuck in the laces and they got entangled with each other. I can't comment on the durability as I've had them for only 4 weeks.

These shoes are really comfortable. I have a narrow foot and these shoes fit perfectly. I do recommend going with a half size smaller than your normal size.

Firstly, these shoes will not last five min if you run on tarmac/paved roads. However, they're comfortable, supportive and robust. I have put at least 2/300 miles on these in the last two years, 90% of n gravel or mud tracks. I also completed a half marathon (road), these trainers have never skipped a beat.

First pair of hiking shoes. Have used in 3 different countries (Guatemala, Iceland & Canada) and has been so great so far in all sorts of terrain.

I was looking for a shoe that wasn't as hard on my feet a cleats, but provided more grip than a turf shoe. So far these have worked great. I like the way they tie. Great grip running the bases and in the outfield

I have very narrow feet and these fit very nicely. I found these run 1/2 size bigger than i usually wear, so consider sizing 1/2 down.

I LOVE Salomon trail runners and this shoe did not disappoint. It's light weight and very supportive. Took them on a hiking trip in the mountains after wearing only a few times beforehand and had no problems with them. The soles gripped the rock and my footing felt very stable on the uneven, rocky trail.

I usually avoid Salomon because 1) they tend to favor narrow toe boxes and 2) they break down too quickly for what we spend in them. I can say without hesitation the Speedcross 6 are like slippers on the feet. Durability well we will have to see!

The fit is like a sock, doesn't feel like I'm wearing a shoe. The cord tie is amazing , no more shoelaces coming undone and the tread is unbelievable for trails.

These are super light and have great traction. Love them!!

I am a arm amputee. Tried several running shoes with different lacing systems. These are the best that also provide support and comfort for running.

3rd pair of the speedcross shoes! Trusted them enough to wear brand new for a 14 mi trail race!

I was the only person on the 800-mile trail with happy feet the whole time and who never had to replace my shoes! I bought 1.5 sizes larger than my usual size however.

This is one of my winter time go-tos. I love the way this shoe holds up in the snow, so I put a lot of miles on them during this time. I like the style of the latest version too.

I only wear Salomon shoes for hiking. These are the most comfortable I have ever worn. Light but with a firm grip. My trails are uneven, hilly, clay and rocks.. and I feel solid on the ground. I'm stoked.

great shoe but please revert to previous sizing! This model is at least 1/2 size larger (in length particularly) than previous models.

Was surprised I couldn't use my insoles from my last pair. This pair is wider in the same size. Too bad. Liked the color but just too wide now.
