Overall great shoe but The sole gets worn out fast

Ive heard about the Speedcross shoes for over a year and finally decided to get a pair. I wish I would have gotten them sooner! When I walk around in them it feels like Im walking on pillows. Extremely comfortable. I did order a pair of the regular width but they were too tight (and I didnt think my feet were wide). The wide are just perfect. Order a pair today. You wont regret it.

I bought these a month ago and absolutely love these shoes. Super comfortable and stylish. Salomon shoes are becoming my favorite shoes. This is my second pair Ive owned and will continue to get more. Thank you.

Im very happy that I bought the speed cross and I am pleased with the comfort.

Comparing the Speedcross Wide with the regular version I appreciate the extra room for my forefoot. It feels more comfortable but not loose. The quick lace system locks your feet up well enough to keep the heel in place. Also, the sole has an excellent grip on muddy or loose terrain, even on rocks and roots. It works very well in general except on wet wood boards

Ive only had them for a few weeks but break in was fast.

I wore these 3 times and the bottoms were falling off of them. Theyre comfortable but not made well. I wouldn't recommend these if you are looking for durable foot wear.

This is my third pair of the Speedcross but the first time I purchased the wide sizing. It makes a difference in the toe box as the regular size has given me blisters on my toes a couple of times but this pair has not after approximately 100 miles of hiking. The upper on these shoes holds up very well, especially in comparison to the Altras and Topos Ive hiked in before. The tread smooths out after 500 miles or so. The speed laces are unbreakable in my experience. Ive owned these shoes in black and in gray. The colors are hohum but the shoes are great. My first two pairs are still used for yard work and casual wear even though the tread is too far gone for hiking.

I really don't understand. The reviews for these are so awesome and I was super excited to get my pair today. Unfortunately the fit was very very awkward. I wear size 9's no problem and got 9 wides since I read these run a bit narrow. These shoes are quite a bit longer than any of my other size 9 shoes and my toes are pretty far from the tip. I'd try to size down but these shoes are actually incredibly tight all around. I even got 9EE wide! Lastly, the inside edge of the shoe is very hard and comes up high so that it bumps against the inside of my ankle. I'm not a picky shoe person at all, but quite honestly these are probably the least comfortable shoes I've ever had. Shocked no one else seems to have my issues =(

This is my third pair of SpeedCross 6's and I absolutely adore them. They are fantastic for traveling and have worn this version hiking through Ecuador and Tbilisi to the streets of Berlin, Frankfurt etc. They're comfortable, lightweight, easily cleanable and just an all-around good looking and wearing shoe.

Ive been wearing the speedcross shoes for years as their comfortable, supportive and with the laces are like slip on shoes

Ive owned a number of Salomons. This is a good shoe. Just takes a day or two to really break in. I was skeptical because I have a wider foot but this shoe fits very well. I actually like it so much Im thinking of buying a second pair

Based on recommendations from quite a few friends. Im going to try these out. Sick of shoes wearing out in a month or less. Ive just thrown out two competitors pairs. Will see how Salomon holds up.

I love the shoes but it could use a little bit more arch support.

I am happy I gave this brand and shoe a try, they have been great so far, very comfortable, lightweight and durable. I cant wait to climb in them and see if they live up to the hype.

Pleased with them but need very thick socks as where it has seams on inside it's rubbing me. Such a shame as I love them. Great grip and I'm going to try and persist

I had the audacity to try these outdoor trail running shoes in the outdoors and found they just didnt work for me and cause me to roll my ankle twice in the ten minutes I used them. Tried to return them. Turns out if you try these outdoor running shoes in the outdoors you cant return them. So, my best advice is to try these locally and hopefully figure out theyre not for you at the shore store.

Speedcross 6, soles are worn out in like 2 months. This is maybe my third pair of speedcross. Ive never had the soles wear like this, completely through the outer rubber layer in only a couple months of what I would say is light use. I use Salomon for trail running and hiking. Worst shoes Ive ever had Salomon or otherwise. Maybe a new brand is in my future.

I have purchased the Salomon speed cross line for years and are my daily shoes, I work on my feet all day and have been impressed with how they support my feet and holdup over time. The generation 6 however have changed in fit- the toe box is bigger and the arch support is less pronounced which caused my feet and back to hurt almost instantly -makes me sad. I instantly went to Amazon and purchased two pair of Speedcross 5s and shelved my new 6s. I hope that changes are made in the next generation or I will have to move on.

Good looking shirt e and fairly comfortable but advertised as equal to a EE and they just arent that wide
