I discovered Salomon many years ago and many shoes ago, and now it's the only walking/hiking/everyday shoe I buy. it fits me very well and my foot is comfortable for a long time, love how long they last as well.

I love Salomon shoes. I like the color and look or the older Speedcross but the Speedcross 6 is a little wider and more comfortable. All of my Salomon shoes seem like they last forever too.

After 1000+ miles of hiking and trail running, my Speedcross 5s were finally forced into retirement. They were the best pair of trail shoes Id ever owned and I wanted to replace them with another pair exactly like them. However, that version seemed to have been retired as well and I could not find a new pair in my size. The SC6 looked to be the best replacement option, but when youve trekked over 1000 miles across the Texas Hill Country, in the same amazing shoes, for the last year- there was definitely some concern that the latest upgrade just wasnt going to measure up. I happy to have found that it does. Same excellent grip, same comfort and same arch support. They do seem to be a bit lighter in weight, and have slightly better ventilation as my sock moisture seems to be a little less after each adventure. As for their durability- Ive got about 950 miles to go. So far, so good. A worthy replacement for the best.

I had the SpeedCross 5 (size 8 in womens) from Costco and they were my favorite shoes. I wore everywhere, in the city and on the trail. I got the SpeedCross 6 Wide (size 7 in mens) about 6 months ago. Theyre just as comfortable as the speedcross 5. The only thing I slightly dislike is that theyre still very squeaky, even after 6 months. I dont mind this, but does seem a bit odd. I still wear them everyday because theyre so comfortable.

Love the grip and the comfort of the shoes. Only shoe I've found that keeps my feet stable when planting and following through on drives while also comfortable enough for billy goat courses of Colorado and west Texaa.

Finally, Solomon has a wide shoe I can wear! This is a great shoe the toe box is wide enough for my foot. I like the comfort of this shoe and stability. Although I am not a trail runner, I often hike those trails for exercise. I would like to see more models in wide but for now these are perfect.

Now that Salomon offers wide shoes, for us flat footers, an absolutely great fit for my Spartan Races.

This is my 1st pair from Salomon, like most sneakers I was initially nervous as ordering online was usually skeptical without in store fitting. But it was recommended by a friend, so far so great with support, comfort, great fit. I have narrow feed and a slight arch so I'm always looking for running sneakers with an arch and padding as I have a not so excellent back anymore. The only thing I don't like is the pull laces which I probably missed when researching. I prefer regular tie laces for more snug grip. But otherwise this Salomon site has varies styles of sneakers to choose. Great selections, don't forget to browse awhile before choosing the right one, so many to choose from. Buying sneakers locally (Bermuda) is expensive (especially shipping and duty), so I got a good price.

Ive owned my SpeedCross 6 shoes for a year now. I ordered them for a Spartan Trifecta weekend, I did not order the Gortex version because I wanted the shoe to drain water well and they did. The shoe had excellent traction in the mud and snow that weekend and I was glad to have bought them. They clean and dry very easily and the shoe was very durable. The only reason I did not give a 5 star review was because of the tread wear. I cant have more than 30 miles on these shoes and the tread is almost gone. While I wish I could get more then a year out of the tread I fear a harder tread would compromise traction which is one of the best traits of this trail shoe. Ive ordered my second set for this years Spartan race.

excellent off pavement and in snow less ideal on pavement because of the heavy tread but still usable. If i bought again i would go for the goretex tho. but super comfortable and practical

The color of them wasn't exactly what I expected but for the price since on sale you get what you get, they're super light weight and comfortable as well. My first pair I wore to Yosemite and hiked everyday in them and loved em so I got a pair for normal wear. Great shoe great support and again SUPER LIGHT!

Soles are super comfortable, but the construction of the shoe is TERRIBLE. Not a durable product for what they market it for. I have had many, many pairs of this shoe (speedcross 3, 4, & 6). Lifespan is about 2 months before the heal will blow out on you. Not worth your money.

I found these shoes about 2 years ago and havent bought any other shoes since. I have had about 5 pair now. Im on my feet in construction all day and they are very comfortable from the box. As a trail runner they do have aggressive tread and do tend to hold mud. No complaints so far!

I ordered the SPEEDCROSS 6 because a coworker said my feet would not be sore after walking 8 miles a day on blacktop. I originally doubted him, but he was 1000% correct. The shoes are very comfortable and made my feet happy. I only wish I knew about the Forces line first due to the soles wearing down guickly. So, I just ordered a pair of the Forces version.

For starters the sole is way more comfortable than previous generations. That I can say. The stability isnt there like other generations though. There is way too much mush and side to side in the upper. And lastly the colors absolutely do not look like they do online. Just buy black and save yourself the headache.

This shoe is very comfortable and durable. I dont normally need wide shoes but these run narrow so I buy the wide. Wish they made the wide in more colors, currently its only grey or black!

After spending some time with the Salomon Speedcross 6 Wide LG, I'm thoroughly impressed. The wider fit is a game-changer for someone like me who needs a bit more room without sacrificing performance. Right out of the box, these shoes felt ready for any trail adventure I could throw at them. The grip is phenomenal muddy trails, loose gravel, and steep inclines, nothing slowed me down. What stands out is the balance between rugged durability and surprising lightness, making each run feel responsive and energetic. Salomon's cushioning technology shines here, offering comfort and support through long distances. It's rare to find a trail shoe that delivers so consistently across every aspect, from fit to function. The Speedcross 6 Wide LG is not just an upgrade; it's my new standard for trail running shoes.

I've been wearing Speedcross for about 10 years or so , these continue to be my go -to trail runner. I mostly hike and walk the dog in these nowadays, but they are a perfect fit for my 10.5/11 sized feet. The Salomons fit and arch support help my 68 y.o. alignment. Only negative is the same with all my previous Speedcross', the soles wear quickly.

The shoe fits well, but the laces are extremely annoying. Attempting to tuck the tab and laces into a small pocket with cold, wet hands is difficult, and depending on how old the shoe is, the small pocket may not hold the tab and laces during a run.
