This is my 6th pair of speed crosses. Hands down one of the best/durable shoe Ive ever owned. Light, supportive, and adaptive base. Cant compliment these shoes enough! Highly recommend!

The photos on the website show a blank, elegant, all black tongue. The actual shoe I received has giant, ugly typography that reads SPEEDCROSS 6 across the center of the tongue so incredibly ugly and NOT what the product photos show.

I have been wearing Salmon shoes for over 20 years. My speed cross 6 is my go to shoe. I know my size and be confident they will always fit correctly

I've been trying to find the right daily active / training / leisure shoe and this is it. Wonderful design, aggressive yet subtle and most importantly, very comfortable. Wide fit is exactly what I needed for the ultimate comfort. I like the new lace system too.

Im a size 14. Have tried multiple shoes as I prep for my PCT thru hike next March. Ive been using my Salomon Speedcross 6 pair for a month and they are perfect. Sturdy, light, and beyond comfortable. I just ordered three more pairs to family can forward them to me.

I dont use them for running but I do/will use them for trail walking and hiking. They are light and comfortable. An excellent buy if I may say so myself

I received boots. Gave them to my son because the boots werent even my size and I hate dealing with returns. I cant understand how you get an order so wrong.

Love all the features of the shoe, but unfortunately I feel the overall sizing of the shoe is small. Typically I wear a size 12, but should have bought a 12.5. Hopefully they will stretch out a little in the toebox and length.

Ill start with I love this shoe. Ive bought 2 pairs and am preparing g to buy a third. Wore both pairs for a year plus and have enjoyed wearing them for all activities from trail running to mowing the yard. I wear them hard. Since I wear them hard, heres what Ive experienced; the wear shows on the tread. I havent worn comparable trail runners so dont know if its normal based on the amount of use. On my first pair, I wore through the uppers at the little toe before the tread completely wore out. Either way, very satisfied with my experience as an owner

Great support. Very light feeling. Great cushion on the heel. Breaths and very comfortable.

Hiked mount katahdin and havasupai in these shoes, great comfort and durability. These are my go to for all hiking experiences

I really wanted to like this shoe given all the great reviews Id seen but just couldnt get these to work for me. Im more a fan of lower drop, 5mm, so back to Topo I go.

Years ago I bought a pair of speedcross3 because I liked the look. They were every bit as comfortable as they were good looking. Approximately 15 pairs of speedcross later, across all generations, and I couldnt be any happier. They are my go to no matter what Im up to.

Fit and comfort is great, like all of my Salomons. My only complaint is that regardless of which sock I choose (cotton, wool, synthetic), they make my feet hot. Hotter even than the waterproof hikers I own. Will likely stick w/ the XA Pro models going forward.

Good cushion, good support for hiking or anything for that matter.

Bought these because the other trail shoes I had been using for years were all 0 drop and were causing me alot of foot and achilles pain. These having a 10mm drop have really made a difference and I have been running pain free in them for a couple months now.

The shoe is great, fits amazing, great for trail running, feels very supportive on my neutral stride, and they look good. The only thing I think they could do better in the design is the pocket on the tongue for the lace cord end. The pocket is impeded by the laces so it is difficult to tuck the cord into it.

I'm so pleased with buying these shoes. They have an awesome look. The comfort is outstanding! I've had complete strangers compliment the shoes and ask where I got them. I'm above impressed with these shoes and highly recommend them to anyone seeking an absolute awesome comfortable pair of shoes!

Ive been buying this shoe for years! Even when Ive moved away to try other shoes for a cycle, I always miss it and come back.
