Absolutely love this deeper more durable shoe for my son who has wide, flat feet.

We have searched for easy, appropriate shoes for our residents who wear AFOs and Billys are our go-to shoes! We pre-set the laces of the high tops so staff are able to apply the shoes without having to make adjustments and then zip them up. Never hurts that they are super cute, too. . .

My kiddo wear nothing but Billy shoes..they work great with his AFOs..so easy to get on and so many styles to chose from .

As a mom with a little one in orthotics, this company is a godsend to us!! My son just recently graduated into SMO orthotics, and the Billy shoe is perfect for these! He has a super rare foot condition, Vertical Talus, and has had a long journey to walking - but we are almost to that finish line! The short wrap zipper is an improvement in durability. My daughter wears SMOs and the old style zipper kept ripping out around the toes. Now Billy just needs to make the sole more durable. My daughter drags her heels slightly when she walks, and the sole wears through way before other shoe brands.

Cute sneaker. However the zipper is much higher than the other styles we have bought. Thankfully ordered the wife so they do fit. I think this brand should be more uniform with the style since many probably buy bc of disabilities.

Love the extra width and colors. The removable insert helps with thicker foot

The strings were a bit snug until I loosened them and then the sneakers were good.

Billy shoes have been our go to for our son for years now. Due to a genetic condition, his feet are very wide and different sizes. The extra wide widths in the D|R collection fit him perfectly. After wearing out the zipper at the toe of Classic high tops we were excited to try the Short Wrap zipper. The Short Wraps were working great!! The zipper has stayed intact, he can get them on and off himself and they are very cool looking. Unfortunately the shoes have worn out fast, he has been wearing them for about 4 months and has worn holes practically through the tip of the toe and bottom of the soles. The shoes do seem heavier than the classic zip, so maybe that contributes to the extra wear. I have been looking to get a replacement pair but they have been sold out in his size for the last two months. Luckily we have a pair of the classic zip that we were saving as his "dress shoes", hopefully they will get him through the rest of the winter and spring. As always I love the option of buying mix-matched sizes and their customer services is always super helpful.

We do like the look of these shoes, as it's a different option from the high tops. However I wish they were lighter, they are a bit heavier than the high tops. Im curious to see if these zippers higher up away from the toes will last longer.

First time we bought the wider Billy high tops and they are great! They work well with my daughter's SMOs from Cascade Dafo. In the usual high tops we had to remove the insole and her brace would wear a hole in the inside bottom of the shoe, now that we switched to the wide shoe we can keep the insole and haven't had this problem. My only very slight concern

We are faithful Billy customers for my son with ankle foot braces! Due to the placement of the zipper, this style is slightly less easy to put on as compared to the other high top style, but they're still great. I love that they are also stylish and not "medical" looking.

The shoes are cute and daughters favorite. However, I will say the opening is not quite as wide as the more traditional styled Billy shoes. Yet, the shoes come in wide and the SMO and AFO fit okay. Only other issue is loop at back to help put the shoe on broke off on one after a couple weeks of wear.

Wish there was something in between the extra wide and wide, these are almost to wide and heavy for my son to walk in but over all we love the shoes. They were also sold out of all the colors except pink so we had to get my son pink and grey

My son had a really hard time putting his AFO brace into the shoe. He had the right size. I didn't want to size up because it might make it too awkwardly big. He said the zipper is better if it's at the end by the toe. Easier to slip his afo in.

Did not fit over my son's SMO's. They have before.

Very cute but the zipper doesn't work. Unable to return since it was final sale.

Super cute but bulky! Sadly they are a little hard to walk in.

I'm very thankful for this brand and their shoes that accommodate AFOs, however they're very cost prohibitive due to their poor quality and durability. The zippers consistently break within a couple of months (one zipper broke after the first wear, but thankfully Billy sent us a new shoe to replace it). The material in the back has no support so the high tops sag and sink, the soles wear out, the rubber wears down, and the zippers come apart...all within less than 6 months. It's frustrating to rely on these shoes because they're the only ones that fit my daughter's large AFO, and having to replace so often gets expensive quickly.

Laces are too short, they are always coming untied.

They look so cute but unfortunately I needed the extra extra wide

Not happy at all less that two weeks the sipper come off no way to use it again.

These are for my child with AFOs and the new location of the zipper hits rights where her braces Velcro and she complains they hurt. This is with both insoles removed.

We love them. So easy to put on or take off. Love the color
