First of all I love the options Xena provides for working women! These shoes are gorgeous and seem very well made. There is a decent break in period, but even after several weeks I wish the shoes had more padding in the heels and toe area. Both the sole and back of the heel seem hard for a shoe you'll be wearing all day. For me, the fit is too snug for adding additional padding/insoles even with getting a half size up.

Ive had my Xena boots for about a year now and I really like them, theyre very comfortable and have held up nicely, but the one thing that I dont like and drives me insane is the location of the zipper on them, they are on the outside sides of the boot. It would be a much better design with a much easier on/off access if the zippers were on the inside side of the boots.

I really wanted to love these boots, because they're gorgeous and I liked the cushioned ankles and steel toe. But even though my feet aren't particularly wide, the narrow toe end of the boots was quite uncomfortable. I'm typically on my feet 10-12 hours a day and I just couldn't see myself being comfortable enough in these. I'm not sure they're right for my industry either, there's frequent spills and puddles, so I need boots with strong traction to prevent slipping. For what it's worth, they are well-made and I liked that the return process was super simple and free.

The boot in the photo is not the boot received. I was hoping for the same look as pictured. But the boots received were more of a mustard brown. I kept them as an extra pair, but I was not happy with the overall look of the boot.

The whole reason I ordered from Xena was for the Saddle Orange Gravity book. I wore them around at home as recommended and they were uncomfortable. The site indicates that they do need a lengthy break in period. So, I wore them to work one day. At the end of that day, I had a very deep sore on a toe and the balls of my feet were very painful. Even going back to other shoes, my feet hurt for weeks after. Because I had worn them to work, they would only accept an exchange and they recommended the Omega. They are taking a long time to break in, but they aren't causing problems. I would say, of other boots I've worn for work, they are about the same in comfort. Their advantage is that the steel toe is much narrower, but I think for anyone with arthritis or anything other than a nice narrow foot, that is a problem. I'll keep the Omega because they are fine and I've also worn them to work, but I guess I just wasn't as impressed as the reviews I read.

Beautiful boot, but just ran too small for my wider feet. I even went a size up and no bueno. Such a bummer because they looked really great!

Not for someone who doesn't have narrow feet. Sip resistance great.

The boots are obviously high quality, sturdy with attention to detail. However, the toe box is narrow, so they've been extremely uncomfortable to wear ( I even ordered a half size larger based on other reviews). Also, the color of my boots was darker and more uniform, not at all like the photo on the website. Sad, because I love the style and would buy them all if the toe box was wider.

Extremely cute, but not comfortable. These are one of the most fashionable shoes I own and I love how I look in them, however, they don't have much support (despite the cushion, the bottom is very hard) and my pinky and ring toes are extremely cramped. I will say that these are pretty light weight compared to my other steel toes. I only have to wear still toes for a couple hours every week and my company will reimburse up to $100 on steel-toe shoe purchases. If this weren't the case and if they weren't so darn cute, I wouldn't put up with the discomfort. Minor notes - the zipper is on the outside, not the inside, which is a little awkward when taking them on and off and the loop on the back isn't large enough to slip you finger through to pull them on.

I've had these boots for almost 6 months now. I've really wanted to like these boots. They're nicely made, look good, have held up really well, but they are NOT comfortable. I read the sizing, had to get a wide, since I have wide feet and even still, they don't feel wide enough. My feet feel a little squished, pinched, and over all just hurt really badly in these boots by the end of my 10 hour shift to the point where it hurts to walk. Maybe they work well for narrower feet, but I probably will not be buying another pair. Maybe the toe box needs to be redesigned or add an extra wide option?

The steel toes hurt my toes. I got a size 8.5W and it fit otherwise. Unfortunately, no return policy for "used booties." After working about 30 hours total, I just couldn't wear them anymore.

Im writing this review after owning these boots for 5 months. I was so excited to find some cute steel toes with so many good reviews. They took 4 weeks of me wearing them for them to break in. After they got broken in they are an ok comfort. And now the zippers wont stay up. Over all pretty disappointed.

Boots are very cute and work for the job. Pretty uncomfortable; was expecting to be better than typical steel toes.

I REALLY wanted to love these. I even spent extra of my own money, beyond company reimbursement to get these. They were too narrow at the toe as if the steel toed cap is shaped like one of those horrible center pointy-toed shoes that used to be fashionable. The widest part of the shoe just before the toe cap is fine, actually maybe a little too wide. I went up a full size from what I originally ordered (and returned) and it didn't make a difference at all, they actually felt the exact size same as the ones I returned. So basically too small but only in top of the toe. They also scratched easily, within the first week, and I didn't do anything intensive actually barely wore them, actually not sure how they got scratched because I wasn't near any machinery, it almost looks like the outer coating layer/sealant of the leather just got completely scratched off. They also significantly discolored any socks I wore with them for the first 2 months which ruined a couple of very expensive pairs sadly. Also smelled horribly for the first couple months. Not like a leather small. The price tag was too high for the product I got and I'm sad.

These boots are so cute, easy to get on and off, but didn't hit the mark for me. They run VERY small. I typically wear a 7W-7.5W in everyday shoes, and a size 8W in running shoes/work boots to account for swelling. I bought these in 8W originally, and had to return because my toes were touching the front of the shoe (seemed like a size 6.5) I exchanged for an 8.5W and they seemed a ok, slightly small but I was thinking these might break in since the size was so much larger than I'm used to, but I was wrong, and with Xena's limited return policy I now have a pair of expensive boots that do not fit. :( I can wear these for a couple hours, but these will not be the all day boots I was hoping for. I think if these had the correct sizing they would be great work boots.

One of the most uncomfortable shoes I ever owned. I bought this pair and my boyfriend bought me a different more expensive shoe from this website. Its been more than a month and the fit is just weird. I get blisters, cant walk in them, even sitting for long periods of time hurt. Cute shoes but Im very disappointed with this purchase.

Wanted to love these. They are beautiful out of the box. But they have a very long uncomfortable break-in period, and after just a couple of months of wear are extremely scuffed up.

These boots are indeed stylish and my coworkers did not believe they were safety boots. However buyer beware as once you receive these boots, they state that they do not do returns/exchanges due to being a small business and to make sure the fit is good because if there is any indication of wear they won't accept it back. This makes no sense to me as it states it takes a few wears to break in the boots to make sure it's comfortable. But what if it's still not? I understand this is a small business but I honestly still feel disappointed that the option isn't there. At first, my boots fit perfectly so I was excited to wear them. But I can't predict the future on how it will feel wearing it out. Mind you I work 12-13 hour days in a warehouse environment and walk on average 10 miles during those days. These boots are NOT meant for this. After 1 day my feet were blistered and my legs were literally numb! I was limping by the end of the night. I didn't touch my boots since then and they've been sitting at the door for a month now since I'm stuck with them and with the return/exchange policy, I can't do much about it. It took about a week for my feet to recover! So if you're in a work environment like mine and think you can still feel stylish with these, save the money and get some ugly but comfortable safety boots. It's not worth it for the health of your feet.

I was so excited to find these boots; I purchased them in both black and brown. They are the first work boots that actually fit my feet properly, but I was so disappointed that both pairs have leather wear damage that should not happen after only six months of use. They should be more durable at this price point.

Had to return. They were WAY too narrow and uncomfortable even going up a size as suggested. Would try again if they came in wide sizes

Honestly, I was hoping for these boots to be a lot more comfortable than they are. Not much cushioning and support inside. I bought some insoles to compensate, but found that there wasn't much room with them in for my toes to feel comfortable. I'm a little disappointed.

This is my second pair of boots and I love the way they both look. My first black pair are so comfortable. I have been wearing the second pair for a few weeks but the edge of the steel toe feels like it is constantly rubbing against my toe. I assumed it was because they were new but it hasnt gotten any better after several days of wear. These boots are so cute for work or casual wear but they are very uncomfortable. I think I may have got a bad pair

These boots are beautiful, but are NOT non-slip. It was like walking on ice! I also wish that these came in wide width. I ordered a full size up, but the toe box is just too narrow and smashed at my toes. They felt bruised at the end of my shift. I had high hopes for these boots, they just fell short of expectations.
