I wasn't crazy about the bourbon brown color of the Omegas once I got them. I did get a pair of the Gravity in black though and I love them! I will be exchanging the Omega for a brown pair of the Gravity. All the women at work are jealous of my cute new boots!! Thank you!

I work for a construction company in project management and needed some boots that I could wear out in the field and in the office. I had been looking for over two years for something that was lightweight, stylish and made for women. These hit each point! My previous boots were clunky and looked as they were made for a man. I was tired of having to change from my personal boots to the field boots each time I walked out of the trailer or to a meeting. The customer service was fantastic. I had some sizing issues and they resolved it right away without any headaches. The reason for the four star review is that there is some room for improvement. The boots themselves are not that comfortable. The toe box is a bit snug and rubs on the edges of my toes/feet. If they were a bit wider on the widest part of the toe box, while remaining toe tip the same that would be an improvement. Also the zipper on the outer end of the boots makes it a bit awkward when removing the boot. They would be much easier to remove and slip on if the zipper was on the interior. I love my boots!! I am so grateful I was able to find them, this is what we need! Ill be purchasing a second pair (brown this time) .

The omega safety boot in black is great because I can wear it to work and back without people figuring out it's a work boot. It honestly looks like a regular chelsea boot. I don't give 5 star reviews unless everything is perfect but I will be recommending this boot to colleagues.
My pros:
- Polishable (needed for security)
- Low profile and light weight (it's handling 5+ hrs patrolling well so far)
- All the safety goodies (worksafe compliant, steel toe, etc.)
My quibbles (but definitely not deal breakers):
- This boot doesn't need "breaking in" so much as "warming up". The first hour or so can be quite uncomfortable, especially if you're in a cold area, and the steel cap feels like it's getting ground into the sides and tops of my toes. However, the leather does warm up and then everything becomes 50x more comfortable for the rest of the day once it does.
- The pull tab at the back isn't big enough to slip my fingers into, so pulling on this snug boot in the morning can be a bit of a struggle.
- I needed to size up. I'm 9.5 and the 10 is what I ordered. Just FYI

I was also really concerned the first few days that these shoes were going to be too small but after breaking them in they are super comfortable to wear and I actually like wearing them. They aren't too heavy and they're stylish. There hasn't been a whole lot of options for women so I'm happy to finally found some safety toes I like.
The reason it's not a perfect 5 was the the packaging and condition they arrived in. When these boots arrived they were in baggies that were a little too small. I was also a little sad that they had some minor scuffs on the toes out of the box. I don't know if it was because the bag was too small and I had to drag it on the toes to get them out or if they were like that before the bags.
Otherwise when I need new boots (or maybe want a different color or style) I will definitely come back to this company for the fit and comfort. Doesn't hurt that it's women owned too!

Great looking boots! Very stylish. I would like them to be just a bit more wide towards the toes so theres more room and they can feel much more comfortable.

I read the other comments and ordered a 7 instead of a 6. The 7 was the right size. Unfortunately this particular pair has an issue with the footbed bubbling up in the right boot, so I am returning it. I really like how easy it is to slip on, but they are not the right style for me. If the footbed was not an issue, I would probably keep them because the do seem comfortable for a work boot.

These were very comfortable out of the box and definitely the only steel toe women's boots I could find that looked like a nice regular boot. But they lack personality.

These boots are cute; however, the zipper broke on the 10th day I wore them. I struggle to zip them down and up and need to use a Bobby pin. Sucks that they are too dollar and a zipper broke!!

I liked these shoes in the beginning, but after a year, they started wearing really fast. The zipper pulls fell off twice in less than a year; and I think that's because the zippers are on the outside. Which isn't a good design; especially since I sit criss crossed, or one leg under the other. It's been a little over a year, and the zipper has fully torn on my left shoe. Can no longer use them. I really liked them, but they wore fast. Great for my job because I work with paint, and the cleaned decently due to the leather material.

I was excited for these shoes because I had been unable to find a safety toe in my size (w7). However I was disappointed when I received them because the safety toe was more of a safety foot. I was unable to bend my foot and walk because the safety toe went more than half way up the shoe. I was also disappointed in the leather quality and the zipper being on the outside of the ankle rather than the inside of the ankle. These shoes also appear to not be re-soleable. I am excited for this company filling this niche but I have returned my boots and will come back when they have a more quality boot (leather, sole, proportions) that I would be willing to pay more for.

Bought the shoes earlier this year. Went from working in the field to a PM job. Still have to be on the job site a lot. They look more professional then my field boots. They are comfortable enough, and have stood up relatively well to my 10 hour days on and off the site. However the zipper broke on the one. With how expensive they are, I would expect the zipper to last longer then a few months. Here's hoping I get a year out of them.

Do not buy if you do a lot of walking around. These shoes were cute but I walk at least 10,000 steps in 5 hours of my job and my feet were killing me! I gave it time to "break in", which was about 2-3 weeks and they were still hurting. I was then advised to wear thicker socks, which I did and nothing helped. These shoes are cute but we're not comfortable to wear at my job. I wasted $200 on shoes I couldn't wear anymore and when I tried to get a refund, my shoes were too "worn out" or damaged to be qualified for a return.. but I kept giving the shoe time to "break in". So I would not advise these shoes if you walk a lot for your job, only if you sit and do minimal walking.

These are not slip resistant. I love the look of them and overall love them but can not wear these to work in, so I feel I wasted my money.

I just started my first construction risk management job and needed a good pair of OSHA boots. After some research I went with these as they are cute and functional! I thought Id be able to use them outside of the job too because they looked so good!
After wearing them about probably 10 times total (going to sites is sporadic at my job) and just about 2 months into owning them, I was taking them off to go into a cleaned dwelling unit & the zipper just came off! I was absolutely stunned! I had to do the rest of my site visit with that part undone; which is the majority as this was the first unit I inspected. And the rest consisted of in-construction units. Definitely a safety hazard & I didnt have any spares. It was also quite embarrassing as I struggled to try to get the zipper on to no avail in front of a client.
Xena did send me instructions to send the boots to a cobbler who will repair them, but I will be out my boots 6-10 business days. They were very apologetic and responded really fast to my inquiry. Im lucky that it wont be the end of the world if it takes that long to get them back since my field visits are occasional, but still a long time to be without!
The boots prior to this were amazing. They did their job, they felt great, looked great, and break-in time was very short. Im sure that when I get my boots back theyll be good as new, but I wanted to make sure to let people know to have a back up pair in case this happens to them! I didnt and now I have to buy a spare haha.

Shoes look nice but make my feet hurt so bad everyday. They aren't very oil or slip resistant. The tread in them is not very great. I spent 200 dollars on these shoes and can't even use them at work.

Cute shoes, great quality, love the loop in the back for easy pull on. You must absolutely follow their advice - you need to get a size bigger than you usually do. These are not super comfortable for long hours and wrecked my feet for the first two weeks I wore them. I highly recommend gel inserts (to which you need a bigger size so the shoes still fit you). I do not recommend these for food service work as you will be sad when you get food on them because they're so good looking :), also they're heavy in weight - not ideal for running around in. Don't forget to get a bigger size!

I love how they look, they technically fit; but these shoes HATE MY PINKIES. No matter what I do, they hurt if I walk. I bought 7.5 W based on their sizing chart. I can tell that if I go 8 W it would be too loose and it will hurt/rub on other places. So disappointed! These were supposed to be my go to pair for all outfits... I still wear them as needed, but they hurt a lot while I walk. I don't think it will "give" or "break in" because the pinky is under the safety cap area, hence it shouldn't mold to my toes. Buyer beware, their size chart is tight on the toes by 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch on the W. I will try to remediate design by adding some pinky protection :( we'll see.

I have been using these shoes for almost 3 months now. They are lightweight and super comfortable! My only concern is that when I am walking a manufacturing or warehouse floor it feels like my shoes don't really grip the floor well and I feel like I could potentially slip. While the shoes look great, I think the bottom could be improved so that they are non slip rather than "slip resisting."

I really wanted to love these shoes. Unfortunately, the fit wasn't there for me. I normally wear a size 10. I also have flat, narrow feet and a small heel. I ordered a 10.5. I felt like the toe box was not generous. The steel toe slightly rests on top of my big toe and the outer edge of the boot pushes against my small toe. Also, when I remove the inner sole and insert my prescription orthotics this issue is even worse.
I did reach out to customer care and they were very supportive. I exchanged the 10.5 for an 11. The toe box was wider but, the shoe was too long. My foot was too loose inside and my heel would flop out. I reordered the 10.5. to have both side by side to compare. I even purchased a thinner over-the-counter orthotic for $25 with the hopes it would take up less space than my prescription one. Nothing worked for me.
Overall, I love what this brand stands for. For the future, I would recommend the shoes having a wider toe box overall. Maybe the brand could also consider making a variation of the shoe that better accommodates orthotics.

They are very good looking and what I was looking for, a pair of steel toes that looks good with slacks and jeans. Unfortunately, I cant wear them for very long because the steel cap pushes against my pinky toes and they get very soar after 5-6 hours of wear.
I have very average feet, wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 per the recommendations. They seemed to fit well initially until I tried wearing them for a full work day.

Takes a while to break in. Toes were hurting for the first week. Other than this might want to order a 1/2 size up for a more comfortable fit. They felt fine for me with plenty of room until I spent a 10 hr day working in them .

Thanks for reaching out for feedback. I am giving this boot a 3 star review because I have a wide foot and my toes seem to be a bit cramped and painful after a long days work. I see you offer wide options now and Im super pumped! I have noticed in other wide steel toe boots that the boot itself is wide but not the actual steel toe insert, leading to the same discomfort, if not more. Can you confirm that your new wide sizes translate to the steel toe insert too? Thanks again, Jessee

I am just breaking in my Xena boots. All I can really say now is; they look beautiful, but I really am not about the looks, so I must reserve judgement. I'll be back and give a full review after a few months. If they can hold up to 5 straight days on a dirty jobsite while keeping my feet dry and comfortable, they'll have my support, and I'll tell every woman I come across about them...guess we will see.

Not as durable as I hoped. The boots started scratching 2 days into me wearing them. The insoles arent as comfortable as I was expecting either.
I ordered a size up as recommended and that was good as they fit well size wise.
If youre going to be getting a step count in and working in an industry where you actually need steel toe boots look somewhere else. These wont last 3 months. Overpriced for underwhelming quality

Loved the design/construction of the shoe and the toebox fit well on my narrow foot after I went a full size up, but the volume of the boot was too large at that point and I felt like my foot wasn't well retained in the vertical direction even with the suggested stick-on heel grips. Additionally, even with my own thicker insoles, I didn't feel like I would be comfortable standing all day in these boots. I may try another boot style in the future with thicker socks, but am returning these for now. Love the idea and fully support the mission of this company, keep it up!
