I am going with 3 stars strictly due to the fact on day 2 my feet could not go back into these shoes from the swelling and blisters.. But hear me out! I believe these shoes, like my last pair from another company have to get worked in. I stock the floor in my wearhouse and by the time I left work on day one with these shoes I had swollen blistered feet. But I know better than to try and break a new pair of shoes in at work. I recommend breaking them in casually while running errands and not doing it for long hours at a time. I wear a 7.5 usually.. so I went with a 8.5 after reading the reviews. I'm happy I did, they are a perfect fit and comfortable if you are standing/walking constantly for up to 4hrs. I also bought gel insoles to help with the fact I'm on concrete floors for 8+ hrs at a time and I don't want to end up with plantar fasciitis. Go up a full shoe size when ordering and wear thick ankle socks. The company does a great job with the packaging and the shoes are beautiful. I really hope they will be my every day work shoes because everyone loved them and they don't look steel toed. People are going to stop you and ask if you are in steel toes.. it's awesome. I just really wanted to stress tho that they did hurt my feet and they will take time to break in. If you are looking for instant comfort over a fashionable work boot. This exact boot probably isn't for you. I am hopeful that they will be a great shoe for me in the long run.

These are okay, which I guess is just not what I was expecting for this price. The shoe seems fairly durable, which is great; thats the point. But that seems to have been the only point. In terms of wearability, I think they could have been designed better. The material is very very stiff, and even a long break in period might not make them comfortable! If Im on my feet all day, and moving, I need some comfort. The length of the shoe size is right on, but they seem especially wide and clunky for that size. They move around quite a bit while walking, and with a stiff material this instantly translated to blisters and hot spots. Most disappointing was the back of the shoe, which appears to have a pad to avoid the dreaded Achilles stab of any low shoe. Its just a decorative stitch, with no apparent extra flex or padding. A stitch thats coming out on one of the shoes, and thats right out of the box. The sole of the shoe is just a little wider than Id like, which is a fairly mild issue, but anything that impedes my ability to move quick and easy isnt great. I absolutely need that on my job. Finally, if youre going to make a waterproof shoe, make it waterproof all over. I expected a gusseted zipper or a waterproof zipper...nope. But if I dip just my toes in a puddle, Ill be fine. Overall, I wish the shoe had a tighter fit, but going down a size or wearing thick socks will make my toes crunch, because the length really is spot on. Hopefully these will break in better than Im anticipating, hopefully I wont lose any more stitches, but even then they really do not live up to my expectations, or the price.

I love the way they look, especially with the little heal! I have slipped around oily and wet (freshly mopped) floors. I thought they were anti-skid. I would think that for how expensive they are, they would be anti-skid. From what I have experienced, you have exceptional customer service!!!

The first few days after they arrived were almost unbearable to wear. Had blisters on my heels where they rubbed. Still not comfortable but luckily I'm at my desk a good portion of the day. They are however, cute for what they are.

The Gravity Classics run way too narrow. I was warned by someone from Xena service to order a half size larger so I did. They are still way too narrow. I can only wear them unzipped. I've been wearing my old shoes. I can't walk too much in the Xena boots. Sorry, I have to be honest here.

I really, really want to love these shoes. I LOVE the look of them, allowing me to look more business professional while working in a warehouse. But, after wearing them for a few months, Ive decided I just cant anymore. I read the reviews before purchasing and ordered a half size up and a wide size. Even with that in mind, Id use bandaids and or double socks on each foot to make it bearable to wear for an entire day (10 hours). At this point, Im experiencing foot and knee pain in direct relation to how I have to walk wearing these shoes, so Ill have to stop. Im considering trying the Omega EH Safety Boots instead, since they dont have a heel, but am apprehensive. They are very durable and stylish, and have a very strong steel toe.

The boots are gorgeous. But unfortunately they don't have any arch support and are a little too heavy so they caused pain in my hip, knees and metatarsals leaving them not useful for wearing.

My name is Katie. The shoes were purchased for me. I bought a size larger, like instructed, than my normal shoe size (wide) but it its still not wide enough for my toes. It hurts a lot to wear because the sides of my toes wont fit. My metatarsals just bang into the edges of the steel. I took out the insoles but it still doesnt hurts. I cant return them because I wore them outside of the house once. I might have to give them away.

I had such high hopes for these, as Ive been dying for some more attractive work shoes. I work in restaurants and do a LOT of walking and standing on concrete. These have not lived up to the hype and are very uncomfortable at work.

The boot meets all the safety standards needed to be on the plant floor. The style is fantastic .I'm able to go from the plant floor to a meeting in style. My first day my feet started hurting in the toe box area around 2 pm - started the day at 6 am. I think the boot will get better as I ware it. Happy with my booties.

The shoes are beautiful and they go so well with professional wear, however they are very uncomfortable, specially on the small toe area of both feet. When walking, the toe presses against steel toe part and really hurts. Ive worn them on two work days so far, so Im hopping they break in and are more comfortable. Also it would be nice if you had size 6 wide. I saw wide options but only only size 7 and up, therefore I only went 1/2 size up like suggested. If there was a cushiony part directly in the toes area below steel toe, this would be more comfortable,

First the good: Love the look and got lots of compliments on the shoes. It's great to have an alternative to all the sneaker looking safety shoes out there and if you need something to put on for limited time, these are great but... Now the bad: I have to wear safety shoes for a long day on the manufacturing floor - 10-12 hours. These shoes kill my toes after about 4 hours. By 8 hours I was limping. I thought maybe they just needed breaking in so I've worn them about 3 days total when I wanted to be a bit more dressed up but there has been no improvement. Perhaps I should have gone a half size up.

The shoes are okay, I expected a little more comfort for the price. The shoes look better than most steel toed shoes. They work as described. They aren't that comfortable, I had to buy a seperate insole to replace the ones that came with the shoes, this made them a little more comfortable. The steel toe in my left shoe is longer on one shoe than the other, so my left foot has a bruise where when I walk the hard piece pushes into the top of my foot, but the right shoe is just fine. All in all, I would probably just recommend getting redwing work shoes instead. I have cat, Xena and redwing work shoes and the redwing ones are the most comfortable for everyday use and are the same price if not less and much more comfortable without a hard piece pushing into the top of your foot whenever you walk. If you are willing to sacrifice money and comfortability for a little more style, then these are your shoes.

I usually take a size 8, so I ordered an 8.5 after seeing that this runs small. The toe box was still too narrow for my foot.

I REALLY wanted to love these. They are so cute and allow me to look more stylish at work, however; they are not comfortable. I'm so sad because so many reviews mentioned how comfortable they were. I ordered half a size up as noted, and still by the end of the day my feet are cut up and aching (and I work in the office at a production hanger ). I'm hoping that my feet just happen to get use to the shoes because they are so cute.....and weren't cheap! Here's to hoping!!!

My initial thought was that I finally found a pair of work boots that is stylish and comfortable and I was super excited. However after the first full day of wearing, I was deeply disappointed. Sadly they are not at all comfortable, I couldn’t wait to take them off. Hard on my feet and legs, my toes were sore and hard to walk around in them. Since I have worn them, I have to keep them unfortunately but I won’t be wearing them much at all if any. They are rather very expensive compared to other steel toe brands but now I know that you don’t always get what you paid for :(

I'm so upset that I foolishly purchased these boots thinking "Oil & Chemical Resistant Outsole" and "Slip Resisting Outsole (Dry & Wet Surfaces)" meant I could wear them in my industry. I run a restaurant where slipping is a major hazard in the kitchen. These boots provided no traction for me on our wet, oily floors. The boots proved to be more of a danger as I tried to wear them through the kitchen. I should have returned them. But since I got them dirty, I felt like returning them wasn't an option. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU REALLY HAVE TO WORK ON WET OR OILY SURFACES. INJURIES AND SLIPS ARE WHAT THESE SHOES WILL CAUSE ON WET SURFACES.

I wanted to love these boots so bad. They are so cute but are extremely painful. I have blisters on the outside of both big toes and both pinky toes. I ordered up a size and in the wide but it is so painful. You can feel the edge of the steel toe and it is so uncomfortable. My poor toes keep rubbing up against the steel toe portion. Possibly my foot is not made for these shoes. Whats crazy is I dont even walk that much. I work in a manufacturing but as an analyst so I only walk the floor once in a while but on day one pain!

Not enough arch support. Way too wide if you go up a size. But also still too short even though I went up a size. With my toenails hitting the front theyre just too painful to wear. Let me exchange them outside some up and Ill put some kind of arch support in myself

These are very stylish shoes and they look amazing, but are the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. As requested, I did the "gentle" break-in period to get the insoles adjusted to my feet and they still feel like there's no insole what-so-ever. My toenails are literally being jammed and are peeling back because of the shape/fit. I'm extremely disappointed because of their high ratings on comfort. (And yes I have the right size shoe as they fit beautifully to my feet without being big/small)

I was so excited about these until I put them on. They look so cute. I wore them for three separate ten hour shifts, and I have NEVER been in more pain from footwear in my life, and Ive been in the service industry for fifteen years. My feet hurt so badly that each step sent shooting pains up my legs. My lower back hurt so badly. I havent worn these shoes for two days, and my feet are still sore. I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend these shoes. Theyre by far the most uncomfortable shoe Ive ever worn.
