I love these so much. The look and quality are by the best I've seen in a steel toe for women. I want to give them a 5 star rating but there is always room for improvement. They are a little stiff and the sole is hard on my feet. With more wear they are getting more comfortable. I did have to buy a different sole (Dr. Scholls) which has also helped. Keep it up ladies, you're doing great!

Great, stylish shoes! No one believes they are steel toe just by looking at them! I gave 4 stars because the break-in period is less than comfortable. Definitely keep a spare set of shoes with you for a while. Im on my feet 8-9 hours per day at my company and 5 weeks in Im just getting to the point of relative comfort all day.

I love the look of them but the sizing is difficult. My first pair was a 7 and way too tight. Then I got a 7-1/2 and are a little big. My first pair came with pads and I wonder if I had those they would fit better. They look so much nicer than any other steel toe shoe and Im wearing them even though not the most comfortable. I just think they are slightly too big

So far I've really enjoyed having steel toes shoes that fit my narrower heel while also looking polished enough to wear to meetings. The toe cap did rub against my outer two toes when walking. Removing the insoles alleviated most of this issue, but I still have some discomfort on one foot.

If there's a better looking steel-toe shoe for women, I haven't seen it. I LOVE the look of this shoe. It will literally go with anything. It is very clearly well made, high quality. I don't have a wide foot, but I notice it's a little cramped in the toe area, which can get uncomfortable after a day of wear, but I will gladly have a little discomfort to avoid having to wear ugly steel-toes. They also send additional sole inserts in the box, so if you need more padding or the original one wears down, you have a back up. Definitely recommend.

Love them, but give time to break-in! I got my steel toes shipped yesterday and am excited to wear them! Fair warning that I ordered my normal size and they do run a little tight, but I think they should break in okay (I wear a 5.5 - 6.5 depending on the shoe, ordered a 6). I have been asked twice today out on the production floor if I'm wearing my PPE - and am finally excited to say that I am! The blue card included with the shoes that states the ASTM certification is super handy for these situations. I love that I don't feel like I'm wearing men's shoes all day anymore!

Amazing look and customer service, just check the fit I LOVE the look of these boots. My issue is with the seam immediately under the steel toe cap edge that rubs my right foot's middle to pinky toes. The Xena team has worked with me to resolve this and it has been significantly reduced by removing the insole. Going up a half size is not a solution because removing the insole means my feet are slipping inside the boot already. It is simply having the lining seam and toe cap edge creating a pressure point in the right boot that is not yet resolved. Looking forward to next gen and being able to dance, or at least walk, in these boots without limping for the next two days. Again, the customer team has been outstanding and I'm certain we will find a final and full solution.

Great steel toe shoes and customer service! Honestly, I love my new shoes and the customer team is fantastic, but I wanted to give a fair warning to those women with slightly wider feet like myself. At first I was bummed by the fact that the shoes were rubbing my outer toes, and this was a consistent trend until I broke them in. Now they no longer rub, and my feet feel fine throughout the day. However, I need to make sure I wear thin socks with the shoes, or socks without toe seams (otherwise the shoes will still rub). I reached out to Xena about my issue and they immediately offered to send me different insoles if I thought that would help, since it would decrease the space used inside the shoe. I did not end up needing them. Xena has also been keeping me up to date with a wide shoe version that they are making. Once these come out I think any concerns I have with the shoe would be resolved, and my rating would change to 5 stars. Let's not forget how great these shoes look! So much so that I often get stopped at work by people asking if I'm actually wearing steel toes. I have scuffed them a bit, despite my best efforts, but that comes from working in manufacturing. They did arrive pristine out of the box, and appear to be very well made. I'm so happy that I finally have steel toes that make me feel like I belong in the conference rooms as much as I belong on the manufacturing floor. If you're thinking about getting these shoes, I'd say go for it!

I love the look of these shoes. It took me a few times of exchanges for different sizes to get the right fit. I really wanted to give these 5stars, and for them to be my new favorite work show, but although they fit and are cute, they dont have a ton of support when wearing all day. I think I'll mainly be wearing these shoes on days when I need something dressier, but wear my regular Timberland boots for normal all day wear.

The boot is beautiful. I just wish there was cushion in the sole. Working 10 hours a day on concrete, my feet were sore. I also wish there was another layer of leather where the steal toe ended. I dont like feeling the transition.

I do really love these boots. They are pretty and the heel is comfortable. I usually wear a 6.5-7, so I ordered the 7. When they arrived I put them on and made some rounds around the house then immediately packed them back up because they were so uncomfortable. A few days later I decided to try them again and wore them for a few hours. This time I determined that I should exchange them for 7.5. The customer service was very helpful and friendly, just a joy to talk to. After I got my new boots in I tried several different inserts before settling on some from Fleet Feet. Inserts are a must because there is zero arch support. It took my feet about three weeks to work up enough calluses on my toes that they didn't hurt. They are just so hard, I guess because they are steel toed. The first week was a big workout for my hips and thighs because they are heavy, but hey, I needed that. They are pretty and I love wearing them, but after three months I still can't get through an entire shift without my feet killing me. I've found that they are fine for up to four hours, anything more and my feet hurt so bad. I'm server at a high end restaurant, so I love the look compared to the plain made-for- restaurant shoes, this is why I've continued to wear them (and I'm a cheap scape who's determined to get my money's worth out of them). Also, after a couple months, the leather on the top of the toe started to get scratched up. They are not none slip, which doesn't effect me except for at the end of the night when we're mopping. To sum up, I love the look and comfort of the heel. I don't love how hard they are, very uncomfortable.

The shoes are very well made, but just a bit narrow in the toe box. As a tall woman, I wear 12w. These are a bit tight (no give due to steel toe) and that means I cannot wear the right socks...also, they rub. Make wider options for the larger size and these will be perfection!

I loved the idea and the look of these boots. As a health inspector, I am constantly in and around a kitchen, pool facilities, and sewage investigations. Something I struggle to find in this industry, are boots that are fashionable and functional and I thought that is what I was getting when I purchased these boots. However, after 2 weeks of wear, I have found that the non slip bottoms are hardly functional. I am constantly slipping and find myself being more cautious walking in a kitchen than I was with previous work shoes. I really want to love these boots, but the non slip bottoms ate making it hard.

These are groundbreaking in concept but lacking some key features in execution. Yes, they're stylish and hide the fact that they are industrial boots; however, they are quite heavy and still a bit pricey. I have multiple pairs of ladies steel toe ropers and they are all 3x lighter and about $50ish cheaper. I do like the reinforced heel cushioning which that helps the comfort of these but I still don't like wearing these all day.

Gave these boots 3 stars because they are not cut out for a busy and fast pace restaurant. I love how they look and feel, but unfortunately they are not slip resistant. I wore the for the first time last night at work. Im a manager and I run back and forth from the FOH to the HOH. Well, they slowed me down tremendously last night. I slipped so many times and a few I almost fell. Its very upsetting. I was so excited to finally find shoes that were super cute to wear with nice clothes and now its back to wearing slip resistant gym shoes with a polo while I go back to the drawing board. Hopefully I can find someone to buy them off of me so I can recoup most of my money.

Cutest work boots on the planet especially for ladies with large feet. It doesnt make my feet look gigantic even though I wear a size 10. However, they are extremely heavy and not very comfortable, even with insoles its not very comfortable. But my standard is sneaker comfortable so take it with a grain of salt. Overall I will try the other style of boots and see if I have better results because I love the company!! I use these boots if Im sitting in meetings all day, not for walking around the job site!! Love Xena!!

Overall soul comfort is nice. The zipper leaves bruises on the inner ankle bone. On Day 2 of wear there was a huge rain storm. Walking into the warehouse there was a large puddle of water/mud due to ongoing construction where I accidentally stepped and sunk into. I wiped the mud off the shoes with water and a paper towel. The color lifted. I now have one black shoe and one mostly faded shoe because the color came off.

I wish I had something better to say. These are super cute but not very comfortable at all. I only wear them when I need cute shoes on with my outfit that day. For the price, I had higher expectations. I feel like I'm walking on a hard surface.

They are very stylish and the soles are comfortable. This specific style smashes my toes together though, and that makes them uncomfortable.

Really wanted to like these shoes because I love the idea of them. They are not comfortable. I am a size 11 which I ordered, but was too small, so I sized up to a 12, which is too big. Im not sure if I could wear these and be on my feet all day. I may try to find some insoles that fit. Also think that the images are misleading, they look a little clunkier upon arrival. Although I will say that customer service with this company is great. I had these shoes for a while and was very indecisive about them because I didnt really like the way they looked or fit on my feet, I kept wanting to like them, also the price of investing in them was high for my usual Safety shoe purchase. I exchanged them for a larger size, different color with no issues. But I still cant say that I am altogether happy with my purchase especially when they are so expensive. I am glad though to support the idea of this, stylish shoes for women in the workplace is essential. I dont know how many times I have had to bust out a pair of oversized combat boots at work with a dress that just wouldnt work in the same way as this style of shoe would.

I am SO happy to find a company that marries STEM careers with looking nice and professional. I was tired of looking like a dopey lumberjack from the ankle down as I traversed different facilities. Sadly, I have very high insteps and wide feet and the steel toe hit my high insteps every time I took a step because of where the shoe bends and hits that part of my foot. Customer service was insanely helpful and I'm going to try the omega boot to see if it fits a little better. In the future I hope like many others that there can be options for gals like me with oddly-shaped feet because I'm pretty stoked about this company and its mission!

The return process was seamless! I accidentally ordered the wrong size, the customer service team was fantastic and haf the correct size in the mail ASAP. The shoes are cute, but not entirely slip proof, I've had a couple of slips on wet floors since wearing them. The break in period took about 3 days for me. Wish they were more slip resistant, I'd buy several more pairs.

I really wanted to love these shoes, especially since finding steel toes that are also cute is very hard to come by. When I first tried them on I thought they fit perfectly and I went a half size up as suggested. Mind you, I had only tried them on at home and didn't have to worry about walking around at work yet. So by then end of my first day wearing them I was in pain from my little toe pushing up against the side. I don't think I would be able to go another half size up since I feel like it would be too big at that point since I feel like I have more than enough wiggle room as is. Currently I put some padding in the toe area and hoping that it helps. So super cute shoes, but I would possibly think about having a little more cushion or padding in the toe area, since that seems to be the only downside really.
