This VERY warm down jacket is perfect! It's light weight, not bulky and confining and has a very flattering fit. It has enough room to layer the soft shell jacket underneath along with a base layer top and STILL has comfortable room to move easily. Layered or on its own, out on the town or out on a ride, it's my favorite jacket . (I'm 5'1"and bought a small)

It's fit is perfect on my 5'4" 120lbs frame (size s) it's nicely tailored, well made, light weight, folds down small- I fit it neatly into my backpack while hiking in Zion.large Inside secure pockets-which I love, actually carried a water bottle in one! Comfy, warm, stylish. I highly recommend!

Love love love these jackets! They weigh nothing but are warmer then most heavy jackets. The water and wind resistance is astounding give it's weight. They pack easily, taking no space in your bag. And a roomy, comfortable fit. I almost forgot the pockets! Outside hand pockets perfectly placed. Large inside pockets for you phone or found treasures. I have two and will probably buy more colors.

Lightweight true to size. This jacket is light but warm very easy to move in. It doesn't feel constricting while doing chores or riding. I would definitely buy again or as a gift.

The Ariat Ideal Jacket lives up to its name. Lightweight, warm, durable, comfortable and fits well for athletic pursuits in a moderate winter climate. It has good room through the shoulders for riding. I have 2 sizes: Medium is for warmer winter days, worn over a light base layer; Large is for colder days, worn over medium to heavy layers. If it's too cold to ride in this jacket, it's too cold to ride. I cannot tolerate really cold temps because of problems with my feet and hands in cold weather.

The jacket is very warm and light weight! It allows freedom of movement and stable materials don't stick to it. I love it!

Nice and warm and cuts the wind. Roomy enough for additional layers underneath. I especially like the elastic cuffs at the wrist to really keep the cold out.

Enjoy this lightweight warm coat. Enjoyed it being on sale too! Second coat I have got from y'all. Sized up because of shoulders a little wider. Larges just did t give me shoulder movement.
