Granted it's been a while since I purchased this model of boot but I specifically bought them because the last pair I purchased had removable insoles so I could put my orthotics into them. This is not the case in my recent purchased pair. I tried wearing them a few weeks to see if it might work out but unfortunately not. They are to small to add inserts.

Do you have any D width boots? My wide feet still can't slide into C.

I have purchased these boots before but it has been at least 10 years ago. I love them and the color. I needed a new pair because I gave my old ones to my daughter. The distressed leather is way darker than pictured. I am very disappointed. Sending back. The issue is that I want another pair of Ariat but want to make sure to order a lighter pair. Also, there are so many reviews saying the colors are not accurate. What is the plan to correct this issue?

I really loved the Terrain Boot but now there is a grommet that has broken and come loose. I"m really disappointed.

I have been an Ariat customer for 25+ years. I've had numerous pairs of the terrain waterproof (h2o) boot. Very comfortable boot and easy to go from work to the saddle and back. They used to stay waterproof for about a year of daily use working 10-12 hour days in a barn. The pair before my last purchase began to leak at 4 months. The last purchase left my socks wet after walking in heavy dew on the grass (not rain) the first week. Very disappointed. This is not the quality I am used to from Ariat.

The interior of these boots are not the quality of boots made 5 years ago. They have much less support.

I want to like them but they just don't feel right. They are the same size as my black waterproof pair (purchased at the same time) but they fit like sloppy seconds. Does the waterproofing change them that much? If so maybe others should know!

One boot was colored differently. One boot fit tighter. Could only wear a couple times.

Great color and look, but extremely stiff and runs very small. get a size larger than what u normally wear. not ready to wear comfy at all and I got the B width, wayyy too narrow and I have smaller feet.

I purchased these boots about 2 years ago and already the material covering the toe of the boot is coming apart. Actually, this is the second pair of boots that have had the same problem. Does your company have any kind of return policy that acknowledges this problem and would supply a pair of new boots to replace the boots with failed material performance? The rest of the boots are in great shape and could last for many more years.

Originally ordered a size 6 the color was on point exactly as shown in the picture. unfortunately, there were two big had to return. I decided to order 5 1/2. Fit perfect. However, the color is way darker and material is completely different than the first pair I received, Its very disappointing! I am going to search first at local stores to see if they have my size before I return.

They need to be lower, less drop inside the boot, there is a noticeable ridge inside , with out it I would give a higher rating, so no on hiking, and my half chaps do not fit over I hoped for more comfortI am disappointed .

Used to wear another brand but they discontinued the soft top boot. On 8/2022 I tried a pair of these and seemed OK. I bought another pair on 9/2022. I rotate them every other day to help them dry out and last longer. Unfortunately the sole is separating from the shoe 5/2023. They are not a long life boot if they are worn outside for work.

Color shown online was completely different than what arrived. I ordered the Distressed Brown color thinking it was a medium brown color and in actuality they were so darkalmost black. Very disappointed, had to return.

These shoes were pretty uncomfortable. I wore them once for 30 minutes and got blisters. They did run a little big so it possible the blisters were from them being too big. Not sure I would recommend them.

I have worn these boots for years and sadly, the quality continues to diminish and the longevity is getting less and less. They are incredibly comfortable, although I do wish they made them in a narrower width.

Did not like this boot. It was way too clunky and big. Did not look good so I returned it.

The heel was much wider them the last pair I wore and it was the same exact size.

I know that these say that they are leather, but the outside feels and looks like plastic. I'm not very happy with them.

I have a pair of Ariat riding boots which are 12 years old and are the most comfortable boots I own, so I decided to give other Ariat products a try. I purchased the waterproof version of the Ariat Terrain in March of 2021. I treated them with mink oil several times and wore them as a daily boot nearly every day, except in summer when I wear sandals. I typically walk in all environments, but it's mostly grass, woodlands, and other soft surfaces with some urban walking as well. The tread has held up well despite the urban use, but after one year cracks started forming at the toes and after 1.5 years, holes developed and the leather upper has started separating from the sole. After 2 years, large holes have developed at the toes and the boots are only good for chores. I'm disappointed that they did not hold up longer and I'm hesitant to purchase other ariat products. My feet tended to sweat more in these, but I chalked that up to the waterproof lining. If you're feet sweat easily, you might consider the regular version if you're ok with having to replace them every year when they start wearing out.

Boots are true to size. Overall fit is good. My two complaints: the boots arrived with multiple, major scuff marks on both boots. Seemed to me that they come off the store floor and/or very poorly handled/packaged. When I reached out to customer service about the issue I did not get a response back. That is poor customer service to me and will keep me from buying anything else in the future from this company

looked great fit well but my socks and feet were soaked after 2 hours there was minimal slushy snow. I sprayed them with my waterproof spray from trade home and now they are fine

I have been wearing fatbaby boots for many years different colors and materials and they've always been consistent with sizing and fit but these are strange. I used to order medium width (B) but I've been ordering wide (C) lately because I love the extra room and comfort and I do have wide feet and calves but these I ordered in 7.5C and the shaft is very snug, like I can only get one finger down in them when my foot is inside as opposed to normal where I can get my whole hand down inside, like to pull up my socks. They definitely are not wide, although the footbed seems right I definitely wouldn't be able to tuck pants into them. So I'm returning them and I reordered them hoping it was just a fluke. Please let it be mislabeled or something because I love the color and style! Purple is my favorite color so these are just perfect for me. I'm giving them 2 stars because they're gorgeous but the strange fit is disappointing!

Calf part was very wide and the soles was a weird rubber like material. Sorry to say but it did not work for me at all. Order half a size bigger

I purchased my boots just over 11 months the inside of my boots are coming apart and so are my inserts. Tops of my boots coming apart too. The money I paid for them the shouldn't be coming apart so bad. The leather leaks when wet. They are water proff
