I took these through NYC on the rainiest day of the year so far. Stepped in a deep puddle a few times. Jeans were waterlogged yet my feet have never been more dry, incredible resiliency. I've also taken them out on a few trail hikes and runs and I'm a huge fan of the support. They react well and I feel stable yet agile. I don't like every Hoka pair that I've bought, but I think these may be my faves next to the Carbon and the Clifton.

Product is great but should be offered with some "wide" sizes.

These shoes are amazing...did a 6 mile hike, up and down steep rocky terrain, right out the box without even breaking them in. Felt like off road tires on my feet.

I have been wearing Hokas for years. I buy these every year thear nice waterproof great for hiking, snowshoeing or just kicking around. I'm very glad they are all black this year.

I use this for work. I am a narcotics detective and these not only work great in plain clothes but also in my uniform since they are black in color. Probably the most comfortable boots I've ever worn and the fact that they are not only light weight but are also goretex it's a huge plus. This boot should be developed in different military grade colors and used as patrol/military boots just an idea Hoka. Excellent product!!!

I am amazed that a waterproof shoe can be so lightweight. Comfortable too! Only complaint is that my foot is on the wide side so I wish more models were available in wide sizes.

I had previous version and this one are not to soft but is better!, Great traction as well.

Hokas saved my butt on the Camino last fall, and now I won't wear anything else.

Rocks, roots, water, mud, slop.. this shoe can tackle them all. Love the ankles support.

These are very comfortable and rugged enough for serious hiking. Mid provides good support and GTX keeps me dry.

I love the fit I love the style I love the colors

I've got a chronic left ankle issue and like the extra support these provide on the trail. However, the previous version was a little too high and bulky. Seems like they dropped it back down a bit which makes it perfect for me. Soon as they offer a new color, I'll be getting a second pair as a back-up. I don't like the all-black ones.

Please, make the Speedgoat 5 mid GTX in wide and buy several pair.

Love this boots. I'm not a hiker or even need it for long distance walking but for a everyday work boot, I love it. I want more & mostly due to how comfortable they are. I definitely recommend this boot for those who want comfort. I don't like the laces but I can easily replace that & not a fan of the back heel sticking out.

I'm a mailman so I walk all day, and these are some of the most comfortable shoes i've found. Just wish the toe box was a tad wider. The Speedgoat 6 Mid is not high enough for the ankle support I like, and they also don't have any all black!(Requirement for work) Bondi SR would be great in a mid!

The GTX material makes this shoe not very breathable therfore HOT. Snug fitting but very comfortable

I don't understand how the heal strap got left off of this shoe? Any good hiking shoe should have a strap on the heal to aid in getting it on! It's a big mistake from a hikers point of view.

Much love for my speedgoat mid gtx but would make two changes. More of the famous Hoka cushioning and longer cleats. That is the perfect shoe.
