These shoes are awesome! Bought these to walk around a theme park 2 days in a row. Walked about 10 miles both days. Very comfortable! Also being new shoes I expected some blistering cause they definitely not broke in but no blisters what so ever. Also they got completely submerged in water riding a water ride and they dried out fairly quickly. Can't wait to go on an actual hike with these bad boys.

A- Lightweight, comfy,GTX, great for trail/road. Sole soft. Great grip on trail and solid feel. No issues with moisture or water. Dries quick. Love Hoka overall but they need to make these in WIDE. Fit is tight even if you don't use wide which I don't. I just like splaying my toes. Tested in Utah mountains.

Every pair I have ( 8 ) at this point are comfortable, stylish, and well made. Always exactly what I want.

Shoe fits great and true to size. I remove the Hoka padding and replace it with an orthotic since I lean outwards and it is still comfortable. It is water-proof and hugs the grassy steep hills I run twice a week.

These have been great all-around trail runners, hiking, and indoor running shoes. I wanted the GTX waterproofing and it works great, but it does cause them to run a little warm while active which was to be expected. Breathability is impressive though, even with the GTX layer so no build-up of excess moisture, just temperature. The feel is great, the cushion is soft throughout which is nice as a forefoot striker. The tread is insane and a testament to the Vibram outsoles. They provide a certain rigidity to the shoe that was both surprising and also welcomed out on the trails. I've noticed a small amount of fraying on both shoes but I've been putting them through the ringer, even wearing them into the office some days! Overall, very happy with their performances.

So far so good. I will have a better idea after my ultra in a couple of weeks.

I not only use these for work for the waterproof and vibram soles but I believe Hoka could market these as golf shoes as well. I, in fact, purchased a second pair for golf shoes as they are much more comfortable and the treads from the vibram sole are just as good as any golf shoe.

I'm not sure if GOAT means Greatest of All Time or GOAT as in mountain goat, but the shoe sure feels great and is surefooted on my large feet.

This is the most comfortable Hoka I have ever purchased. This my fifth Hoka purchase.

I ordered in black GTX. 2nd pair of speedgoat 5. First one fit fine in size 10 but GTX I had to send back for 10.5. Nevertheless the blacks are extremely sharp looking (my new favorite Hokas), very comfortable and sturdy. Surprisingly great right out of the box with no break in. My feet are a bit narrow but I just lace them up a little tighter and they are fine. Order the gtx a half size larger.

I had a pair of Speedgoat shoes that I loved. They were finally getting worn out so I purchased another. These Speedgoat 5 GTX shoes are even better, wonderful! They are easier to put on than my old Speedgoats, with a well-designed heel that guides my foot easily into position. Once in the shoe they are super comfortable. I originally started wearing Hoka shoes on the advice of nurses I work with when I had developed plantar fasciitis. I had tried many things, but the Hokas saved my feet. I have stayed with them ever since. These new Speedgoat shoes are no exception. Super comfortable and feet feeling great after a long day on the move at work. Plus, they are great when I take my Labrador Retriever out to play. I splash through puddles and my feet stay nice and dry. All-in-all these are great shoes that I would recommend to anyone.

Although the color is not nearly as bright in person, it is much more muted as if it was left out in the sun to fade... my son still likes them and says they're super comfortable.

My second pair,,, awesome! comfortable, stable, durable,,, great shoes.

The Spedgoat 3, 4, and now 5, are my go to day hiking shoes. I hike in woods 5-6 days week, not long, 4-7 miles say. As I carry no heavy loads, am out for the exercise and birding Speedgoats work great. I prefer the GTX versions as I bird near water and occasionally get in the wet stuff. Not sure the 5, (new to me) is an improvement over the 4. Seems "girthier". I have skinny feet so am concerned I may have to go through figuring out what to stuff in these to make the fit optimum. Lacing system doesn't seem as tough. Hopefully the 5 will not delaminate some of th Vibram sole components as my last 4 has. That said lugs work supremely well. These not great for pavement, trippy, but awesome in the woods.

Sent one pair back never got a update ordered 2 on accident

I bought them for work, I average 12-14000 steps a day on concrete. By the time I get home I still have some spring in my step to hop up the 3 flights of stairs to my home. Very happy so far

Comfortable, good grip in slippery conditions, great support, and waterproof slush and rain.

The Hoka speedgoat 5's are awesome. Comfortable, sturdy and light!

Very great shoes to wear daily. Wears comfortable not too bulky and are very great for walk w running also.

I ordered these for my husband in the color called Fiesta...he really likes them...I would reccomend these to anyone!
