I LOVED these shoes up until the last two walks. The inside lining has ripped on the inside of the left shoe and I now have a blister and can't wear them at all anymore. That's ALOT of money to pay for shoes that don't last for even a full 3 months. I'm quite disappointed and out a fair amount of money, and now I need to purchase another pair of running shoes on top of the cost of these HOKAS.

I really had high hopes for these sneakers. I like the style but after walking 3 miles I develop huge blisters at the bottom of my foot below my ankle. I thought it was a defect and I ordered a new pair. Unfortunately, I had the same issue with the second pair. I googled the issue and it seems like it's a common problem with Hoka's.

I will not be buying from HOKA due to the fact that I DID NOT receive the merchandise and HOKA refuses to give my money back. I don't recommend anyone buying from HOKA!!!!

This is my 2nd pair oh Bondi 8s. One would think if you order the same size same style they should fit the same. That is not the case with the Bondi 8s.. I ordered a size 9.5 wide and the first pair is amazing and so comfortable the 2nd pair I ordered a size 9.5 wide and they are short and narrow. I don't have a wide foot but order a wide because at my job my feet get cold so I like to wear heavy socks. I wore these to work and after standing 9.5 hours my feet hurt they are pinched and short. I even had thin socks on because I knew they were snug to begin with. I threw the box away so I can't return them. I am so disappointed.

Most uncomfortable Hoka to date and way, way too much pink. They were returned.

The shoes did not give me the support I was hoping for. Caused more back and hip pain than preventing it. Hoping another style will work better for me

A warning to all who are excited about purchasing this brand. I purchased bondi 8 for work and had them for 4 months and wore them maybe 2 days per week to walk then started having issues. The company has an absurd policy that puts strain in the customer that soart a very large amount of money purchasing these sub par shoes. Please beware and go with a different brand if you value your hard earned money.

This new bondi 8 suck!! I don't know why you upgraded it. The bondi 7 was great! This new 8 is too narrow and the wide is to flat and feels weird.
I had the bondi 7 regular and it was prefect and feels good on my feel. Now I am so upset that I can no longer buy this. The new version is horrible and I had to return it!

Sent them back as soon as I saw them. Colors were awful together. Not at all like the picture on the website.

I've been wearing Hokas since 2015. I have run and walked thousands of miles in them and have purchased and loved dozens of pairs. So when I recently ordered two pairs of the Bondi 8, I had no reason to think they would be anything other than perfect. But the quality and workmanship of both pairs deviate in critical respects from every other pair of Hokas I've ever purchased. First, neither has the same cushioning of any of my prior pairs. This is true even though all of my old pairs have many miles on them. Second, the Bondi 8's are not as balanced and instead, force my foot into a pronated position. This is unlike any of my other pairs. Third, both pairs hit my ankle bone higher than previous iterations and are stiffer, so that is uncomfortable. Fourth, the insoles in one of the two pairs are stiff and seem to curve inward so that they actually cut into my feet. In short, the quality and workmanship are lacking, and I can't tell you how disappointed I am because Hokas have been a mainstay of my life 9 years. I am at a loss as to what I will be able to replace them with. If the problem had been with just one of the two pairs, I would think the lesser quality was an anomaly. But both pairs are flawed and uncomfortable compared to all my other pairs of Hokas. With increasing popularity, is your company cutting corners? Cutting back on quality control? Switching out for less expensive materials? I haven't yet returned them because frankly, doing so takes time and I've been too busy and disappointed to mess with it. But I intend to return both pairs even though what I want more than anything are quality Hokas like those I've worn for almost a decade.

I am sure it is all individual preference however I found these shoes hard and they caused a lot of hip pain for me. I tried them for a week and couldn't take the pain after a 12 hour shift. I went back to my Asics gel nimbus and the pain went away.

Have worn my Bondi 7s for 2500+ miles of walking and hiking and have LOVED them and recommended them to many people. Ordered a Bondi 8. The cut around the ankle is higher and bumps my ankle bones unless laced much more loosely than I am comfortable with. Then, with the rains of fall and winter, I have found the soles to not have the grip of the 7s. They slip on the wet sidewalk and asphalt surfaces in a way that makes me feel I have to pay way too much attention to how I place my foot. Renders the walk much less enjoyable. I have returned to wearing my worn out 7s on wet days. I no longer have enough confidence in the Hoka products to order online, but will have to find a brick and mortar store to the next edition on before spending the money. I had ordered the 8s and then was on vacation when delivered. By the time I returned and wore the shoes a couple of times to realize the fit was not as good, I was told I was too late to return, so was stuck with the shoes.

Hoka has made the base of the shoe wide, however, the actual toe box of the fabric is more narrow. It's as if they took a Nike shoe top and glued it to a wide base without even trying to configure the fabric to the base. This also is evident in the arch support because it's narrow enough for the side of the insert to come up and cut into the arch of the foot. I was sorely disappointed and will return to my wide toe box New Balance.

This is my first time trying Hoka which was doctor recommended but the Bondi 8 that I got had no support, no cushion and was just hard inside. I love the style and the colors. For me I need something with cushion so I'll just have to keep trying different ones until I find one that works for me. I also went a size up which was great because I think the exact size would have been too fitted

I was very excited to get these sneakers as a lot of the people I workout with wear them. I love the color! I work for a cardiology practice and I am on my feet all day by the time hour 3 of work came my legs, back and especially feet were hurting. By the end of the day my last hour when I can sit the shoes hurt so bad I had to take them off and walk around in my socks. Very disappointing.

I have owned multiple series of Bondi, each with immediate fit and comfort. The Bondi 8 are terribly uncomfortable! I ordered two pair of these in different colors. Both pairs caused foot pain and rubbed strangely located blisters on the inside of my heel and 3rd toe. The design has been altered and NOT for the better. The construction is poor as well. While trying to put on both new pair, the heel of the shoes folded down and got stuck every single time. It took me 10 minutes to get them on...that should have been a red flag. I am returning both pair. Disappointed is an understatement.

I've been wearing the shoes to work (I'm a nurse) and it did not meet my expectations. My feet are hurting so bad especially the heel part. I thought it has the best cushion but it wasn't good for me that I wanted to return the shoes.

This is by far, my least favorite running shoe ever.
I've run injury free in Bondi's for years, which is why I've loved them, even though its not the quickest. However, my Bondi 8 shoe has completely worn out after 250 miles, well short of the 419 miles I've averaged over 7 other pairs. The shoe is also really heavy and excessively bulky, even by Bondi standards.
This equates to approx 25 fewer runs and I ran 25-30 seconds slower per mile on average compared to other shoes I'm currently rotating.
I would not recommend this shoe to anyone for running.
Sidenote: Hoka did offer to exchange these when I 1st complained, but I opted to keep them, but frankly, I've never been happier having a shoe wear out this quickly.

Bought based on the information Hoka provides that these are good for anyone requiring support in sneakers. After a week, my body hurt and would never use these again. When I called the company, they said they take no responsibility for their products if I didn't purchase them on this website but did buy it at a retail store.

A couple of friends had mentioned how wonderful Hoka is for foot pain, but these shoes felt like clodhoppers. The fit 'inside' was just... ok, but the outside felt clunky. It did nothing for my heel pain. Disappointed.

Ordered the white/white and they are baby blue. Was told this happens with the dye and that there's nothing they can do. Dont recommend - even the laces are blue!

I previously wore the Bondi 7 wide shoe and enjoyed the extra cushioning it provided for my long 12 hour nursing shifts, where I'm on my feet for the majority, if not the entirety, of my shift. They were a game changer and markedly helped to reduce my foot aches and pains. I thought that the basic shoe geometry would be preserved for the Bondi 8, but I was very wrong! The Bondi 8 is one of the most uncomfortable pair of shoes that I've recently owned. The "wide" width toe box is narrower than the Bondi 7, and the arch is painful and pushes my neutral foot to supinate. Since wearing this model, I have developed scabs on my little toes and corns on the lateral sides of my feet. I will never purchase another pair of Hoka Bondi shoes unless they redesign the shoe, not only increasing the width, but reforming the arch. This shoe is absolutely painful, and I would not recommend it to any health professional that spends much time on their feet.
