Unfortunately this was not the shoe for me. Even though I bought a wide size, it was still too narrow and my feet over hang on both sides of the shoe because of its design. My other Hokas are fine using a wide size, but these were greatly lacking support. Great color scheme, some places didn't seem to grab as much color as it should (came looking slightly faded at little areas).

The right shoe was great. The left shoe had defect involving the arch support. Trying to return & post office lost it. Handed to mail delivery person and that is the last I have record of it.

I fell in love with Bondi 6, but am very disappointed (and uncomfortable) with Bondi 8 shoes in D width. I even upped myself a 1/2 size, but these shoes are too tight. Recently, I put on a pair of Bondi 6 D width that I have not worn much, and it was so much more comfortable. I have two pairs of Bondi 8 that I don't want to wear and am sorry I purchased.

I really appreciate that I could buy these and wear them for a while to see how they felt on my feet. Unfortunately, I have narrow feet and I felt like the front of my feet were too loose. I also have metatarsal pain on the ball of my right foot, and these shoes seemed to exaggerate the pain. My podiatrist recommended this style, so I tried them. I also did not like how they looked, too bulky, especially the front of the shoe.

I loved my first pair of hokas they lasted me almost a whole year. but this last pair I purchased (almost 1 month ago) has my feet hurting so bad after just an 8 hr work day. I hate that I spent so much on them just to have to turn around and buy a different brand that won't make my feet hurt like this. I went with this brand because of how highly recommended it is for people who work on their feet all day. And I would have recommended them as well after my first pair but not after this pair.

I am not one who usually writes reviews. I love HOKA - I was
a fan before they were so popular and have owned numerous styles before I landed on Bondi. When HOKA announced that they were upgrading to 8 I searched the internet to find the Bondi 7 in my size to save for future use. Then the day came a few weeks ago I ordered a Bondi 8 for an upcoming trip. I have had surgeries on both feet and use orthotics and HOKAs have worked but unfortunately Bondi 8 is not working for me. My left foot is hurting when wearing them so back to my worn out Bondi 7 until I can find a shoe that works. Ugh.HOKA was my go to for many years. Not sure where to start looking for a new brand.

I still have my Bondi 7 from the last time I bought walking shoes. Size 8D. I waited for a year to buy this blue pair of Bondi 8s and ordered from the website due to needing wide width. I can figure out if they are a 1/2 size smaller than the Bondi 7s or what, but these hurt my 2 small toes when I walk to exercise. I guess I will just have to wear them for standing and find a different shoe to exercise in. So incredibly disappointing as my Bondi7s were the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned

My son who has a size 15 foot kept telling my how comfy they were so I ordered a pair for my 6.5 feet. The wide sole made them look like clown shoes on my feet. Goina get another pair of Brooks to look less clownish.

I'm really disappointed in the Bondi 8. I've had 4 pairs of Hokas, and the Bondi 6 and Bondi 7 were great. But the Bondi 8 is consistently injuring my foot if I walk more than a mile -- specifically the instep/sole/abductor hallucis muscle. I'm not sure if it's the narrower shoe body or less overall arch support. I do use an orthotic, and perhaps it is too short top to bottom.

I liked that the company offers wide shoes. I think the design is nice. However, if you have pronation in your hips, knees, and ankles, this shoe may not be for you. I noticed my knees have been hurting about a week after wearing the shoes. I walk 9-15 miles a week on flat surface.

Hoka needs to be consistent about their show sizes. In 2022 I initially purchased the Bondi 8 in a size 9.5, but learned that b/c the toe size was wider that I should go a 1/2 size down. I switched to the size 9 and it fit fine. Then in 2023, buying the same Bondi 8, I ordered the size 9 and it's now too small!

These were marketed as very "plush" but felt just as firm as other running shoes I have tried. I was really hoping these would help with ball of foot pain, but unfortunately they were not better than my current runners.

These shoes are not that great! They are wide in the toe box. My foot pushed to the side and I have callouses. Sometimes creates toe pain. I have had hokas before that I thought helped me. Arahi 6 was good and this Bondi 8. Has made my knee hip and Achilles tendon injuries worse. I have done some research and this seems to be an issue with these shoes. And the heel drop is a 4. So not good for many reasons! I was even going to therapy and finally realized it was my shoes. To soft is not always good! Wish Hoka stood behind their product!
I'd also recommend:
ASICS or Brooks

It was too big, built also bulky clown like looking when I tried on. I went and bought Brooks ghost max in size 7. I did try on another Hokansize 7 but the Brooks was a better fit.

The sneaker has too much material on the sides of the tongue. It rolls up and rubs on your foot. I feel the only way to cure. This is to cut it back to the stitching. Not worth a hundred and eighty one dollars after tax very disappointed

Loved my Bondi 7 shoes. Ordered Bondi 8 to replace them and they are different and don't fit. I have a high arch and they are too tight. Had to return them and no other Hoka styles fit. I'm so sad.

The fit seemed fine, the comfort was not there, and the shape was not easy to wear, or flattering...makes my foot look very large.

Perhaps I have odd feet, but even in a wide width these shoes make the sides of my feet hurt. I bought them for long retail hours but they're just going to be short-errands-shoes.

Honestly, the arch support is unrivaled. but for a shoe this expensive, I didn't expect to open the package and find that the shoes had loose threads sticking out and unbound stitches. It seems like they have low manufacturing quality. Not sure they'll hold to the test of time.

Be careful when a podiatrist tells you that "All Hokas Are Good". The arch was way to hard for me and caused more pain, even after I removed the insole.

They are very uncomfortable for the inner part of the foot. I was not even able to try and run with them because i new blisters would form. So sad, i was excited to try them

Loved the cushion on this shoe. Felt great on the treadmill and outside road running, until mile 4 and the inside of my foot where my arch was felt like it was rubbing. By the end of mile 7, I couldn't wait to take them off since it felt like I was getting sores on the inside of my arches. I Googled it and it's a common problem with the Bondi 8 shoe. I wish Hoka would fix this problem as its a great feeling cushion shoe besides the terrible rough edged insole.
