Love, love, love these shoes!! No break-in time, super comfy from the first wear. Get them. Go.

The tongue to the shoe is attached, so it’s really hard to get your foot into. I had to get a size bigger size.

I have worn these particular Hoka Bondi shoes for years. This new Bondi 8 has a less deep and narrower toe box, even with the wide shoe I always order. Not sure why Hoka would slim down the toe box, that's one big reason people order this shoe! I wear support socks and regular socks for work, I am on my feet for 12 hours and I love the cushion of the sole but not at the expense of my toes being squeezed! This new design may be a deal breaker for me personally, and I may need to search for a different shoe. I'll give them a try around the house before I use then for work, of they don't work back they go!

I have moderate plantar fasciitis in my right foot and bought these based on my research that the Bondi was good for foot pain. I'm not a huge fan of the style because they look very bulky but I'm at the point where comfort trumps style. I wore them to a theme park for a day and they definitely made a big difference in my pain level. Usually when I walk or stand a lot, I can barely walk the next day but with these shoes, I had no more pain than usual the next day so I was thrilled. The only complaint I have is that the edge of the insole is a little rough and rubbed the bottom of my feet through my socks, giving me a friction blister on the bottom of both of my little toes. I do have slightly wide feet so maybe while the width of the shoes felt fine, they were slightly too narrow. I am going to try new insoles to see if that helps at all.

While still a fairly cushioned shoe, the Bondi 8 does not feel like it has as much cushioning as the Bondi 7, my all time Hoka shoe. I wonder how long the “lighter” cushioning in the Bondi 8 will last before I start thinking about replacement insoles.

The blue Hoka Bondi 8 have a particularly high arch in the shoe for the right foot. I have spoken with others who said the same. A manufacturing glitch? I used some orthopedic insole material to raise up some of the footbed around that high arch, and the shoe is perfectly comfortable now. They are true to size. The cushioning has loosened up a bit after wearing them for a few days. At first I wondered where the famous cushioning was. After a few days' wear, I'm feeling it now. It takes a little while to get used to the width of the sole, a fair amount wider than the upper part of the shoe. It's a comfortable shoe. I also bought a pair in black with white soles. No problem with the arches. Are these worth $160+ ? I'm not sure. You'll know if you try them for yourself. Price seems a bit steep to me. I hope they last a while.

Fit was perfect. My right foot is a tad flat in the arch, so that arch feels high, and I've had to build up around it a bit with orthotic pieces so that it doesn't jab into my foot. My left foot has a high arch, and the shoe fits perfectly. I was hoping for softer cushioning, but I suppose the cushioning can reach a tipping point, to where it's so soft that it's no longer supportive. The drop from heel to toe is only 4mm or so, so the shoe feels a bit flat, but again, a bit of orthotic is a quick and comfortable fix.

I find the Bondi 8 runs a 1/2 larger than 7 in fit. Even compared to my actual 7 and it is larger

I love Hoka shoes. These fit true to size and the wide width and wide toe box worked well for my neuropathy. But I decided to return these and keep the Brooks shoes that I ordered.

Super comfy insoles with great arch support! Beats all other sneakers I’ve tried for long wear support and comfort. Just wish they were a tad more stylish. I swapped out the laces for elastic so I can easily slip on and off.

I have Bondi 6 and Clifton 7 among other Hokas. I got the Clifton because I wanted a little more road feel than the really pillowy Bondi 6 (I only walk, don't run). Due to foot issues, I wanted pillowy again so got the Bondi 8. NOT pillowy. I actually think my Cliftons might be more plush and my old Bondi 6 is definitely more plush. Having said that, I like how they fit - I like the flare in the sole, don't feel perched on top of my shoes. I wear 8.5 Wide and I agree with others and think the wide is slightly less wide. It seems to fit me better than the 6 which seemed almost sloppy by comparison. Overall, I'm pleased with the Bondi 8, but disappointed in the NON-plushness, at least in comparison to my other Hokas.

Got these shoes on the advice of my orthopedic doc. They are very comfortable and supportive--the best shoe I have found to date for the severe arthritis in my feet. I've only had them a week, but already I am more mobil in them and have less foot pain. They also work with my orthotics.

These are so super comfortable that I can ignore how clowny they look on my size 10 feet! They seem worth it for long walks, runs, etc. I don't think I'll be wearing them with a cute outfit, but that's ok. They are specific purpose sneakers.

These shoes fit well but after wearing for a few minutes I felt the edge of the insole rubbing my arch - maybe it is the shape of my foot but they had to go back.

I bought these as I have planters fasciitis in my right foot and we are going to Disney. I tried Brooks and I tried orthofeet but Hokas beats them both hands down. Very happy with purchase

These are the first Hoka shoes I’ve tried so I can’t compare the fit to other Hoka styles. However, I ordered my usual size 6 and it seems to fit just fine, and not too narrow. This brand was recommended to me by my podiatrist as I’m recovering from plantar fasciitis. I’ve worn on several 3 mile walks without any problems. I ventured outside my comfort zone with the color scheme but overall I like how it looks and feels, and the roller rocker motion. Pricey but if it keeps my feet pain free they’ll be worth every cent.

They are very wide but I like that for stability. The toe box is a bit narrower than other shoes I’ve had, but if I don’t wear a thick sock in them they are fine. I do wish the heel bed had more cupping. I have heel spurs and after a few hours I definitely remember that they are there. Otherwise a good shoe.

I fit 1.5 size smaller in Hoka compared to New Balance. Bondi 7 is very cushioned.

The shoe fits great and has a nice feel. The style of the shoe is nice, but the back end of the sole sticks out which is kinda weird.

Cushioning was pretty good, but I was unprepared for how much I felt I was rolling inward in these. I tend to underpronate, if anything, so theoretically I guess I'm not supposed to need/like arch support - my normal-to-high arches beg to differ, though. Anyway, the arch support provided by the upper (none in the insole, but instep support via upper's styling can make up for that for me sometimes) was nonexistent, back they go. Preferred the styling of these to the Bondi X/Bondi 8 although the cushioning in these was not quite as good. Considering trying a "stability" model like the Gaviota/Arahi instead to deal with arch issues. I also found the toe box to be wider than expected and these ran long on me as well (I usually fit a 5.5-6, these were definitely too big on me in a 6 and a 5.5). I typically prefer a "regular" width in sneakers (though a wider width in heels). Based on the width/length ratio I'm unsure if sizing down to a 5 would fix these issues for me.

I’ve worn Hoka for a while and I did have the Bondi 6 and liked them but lately I have found the Clifton was better for me but when I saw the new design on the Bondi 8 I figured I’d give them a try! The only thing I’m not crazy about is the soles seem to flair out and it just looks weird to me! I always wear a 6.5 in Hoka and these are no different on that aspect. The tongue on the shoes is sewn in at an angle so it always gravitates to the one side but that doesn’t bother me! I bought these on a whim when I saw the purple ones because Hoka website doesn’t have the purple ones! I’m a nurse on my feet for really long hours and I’m always buying work shoes! Yes I change my shoes out constantly in an attempt to find a great shoe and keep my feet from hurting! Overall I think this shoe is going to work but I’ll have to break them in some, but even wearing them on the first day brand new for 12 hours wasn’t too bad

Had high hopes for the Bondi 8, ordered it and a pair of the Bondi 7’s to compare. The 8’s are nicely cushioned but narrower in the toe box and shorter in the back heel. Both these things caused me to return them and keep yet another pair of Bondi 7’s. Would really love to see a better color selection also, red white and black? Black with white and gold? Something other than plain black or Eastery pastel combos please.

I purchased these sneakers less than 2 years ago (19 months to be exact) and they have already ripped at the sole. I have never before paid over $100 for a pair of sneakers and I will never again, especially when they don't even last for 2 years. I have a pair of Skechers that I've had for 5 years and I paid half of what I paid for these. It is absolutely unacceptable to have to pay the amount of money that they charge for these sneakers and not have them last for 2 years! It is a scam! Do NOT waste your money!
