The Hoka Bondi 8 runs a bit long. I did order in my usual sneaker size of 8.5, and the shoe is a bit too long. However, I also tried a half size down, size 8, and that shoe is a bit too short. I think I am truly in-between sizes here. I wish that Hoka would be more consistent in the length of their sneakers.

The Hoka Bondi runs a bit long, so I ordered a size 8 rather than my usual sneaker size of 8.5. This shoe is a tad short on me in size 8.

Lately, I've noticed that the tongue on the shoes is always crooked now. This is my second consecutive pair that has been like this. It makes the fit a little wonky. Other than that, a solid shoe as always.

I don't care for the stretchy elastic panel attached to the inside of the tongue. Maybe it's supposed to give extra inside support but it's more an annoyance than a help.

Nice looking Hokas..The fit is more streamlined than the Bondi 7 which will probably be fine. The toe box not as tall as my previous pair. It did impair my nail but liked that the Bondi has more room in the toe area.

Excellent fit and comfort but I tend to walk outward (like a duck) and these shoes do not give support to the inside of the foot.

I buy the Hoka Bondi shoe because it seems the most cushioned and stable walking shoe on the market. I am able to order the wide size as well as add my prescription orthotics to the shoe. I gave it 4/5 stars because the Bondi 8 seems more "clunky" in design then the Bondi 7. I would like to see a little bit more of a stream lined design.

I talked to a representive and gave him the size I wear in Brooks he assured me that these would fit. They fit but are not wide enough to narrow if you ask me.

They're super cute and comfy, but the color is much lighter than pictured, almost white. I worried they'd look dirty after I wore them on my dirt road walk, so I had to return them.

Fit good, they are really cute. The sole doesn't feel as cooshy as the HOKAs I've had in the past. But I didn't read the description so that could be part of the design. My old HOKAs felt like walking on air. LOL

These were recommended by my podiatrist, then again by personal use from other medical doctors and more importantly nurses. I broke them in slowly, after a few days changed the laces to elastic lock laces, and adjusted to the very different feel of walking in these. They were never painful, but a little awkward until I adjusted to the shape and feel. I have a wide foot and the outside base of these is much wider than I was used to and took some adjusting. It took no time to adjust to and appreciate that these shoes give me at least an extra inch of height (thank you so much - reaching into cabinets is easier). I'm three weeks into using these and definitely feel they are an asset.
I removed a star for basically two reasons:
1) color choices were awful for me, had to settle for black/black, navy/navy would be first choice, all red/red would be second.
2) I spent a month trying to find my size to try on in a local store and although many carry this style they didn't have my size to try on and when I ordered them from the company on line I got a message three days later saying they were out of stock, expect in about a month, I finally received them after two months.

I bought this pair hoping for all day comfort walking and standing with bunions. The shoe isn’t wide enough (in the wide style) where toes meet foot. Also the arch support cut into the bottom of my foot.

These shoes are very comfortable when walking but I have an issue with the heel and arch of the right shoe feeling narrow, especially when I am standing for a period of time in my job as a nurse.

I've been wearing these every day. Weird the inside is already starting to look worn the outside so far is holding up but concerned about the durability in the long run. They are very supportive, which is what I'm looking for, but I will reevaluate over the next month to see if they hold up daily use. For the price, I expect them to last a long time and hope they do.

I use the Bondi 8 to walk and as my shoes for work. I have plantar fasciitis. So far the Bondi have been comfortable to wear. I also insert a cushion into the heel. I purchased the wide version of this shoe so that I could have more room in the toe box. That is one thing I would change about Hoka shoes in general: make the toe box wider so that our feet can properly splay.

Grateful for a wide option, though it seems the width difference between regular and wide could be more generous (for the wide). I had to size up to get the width I need. The tongue does not seem to give extra material to account for the additional width, so the tongue doesn't sit center and the whole thing compresses the top down... this pair I cut the tongue... it does make the fit more generous, but also not as secure a fit. Love the wide base on the sole, the toe box to arch could be a little wider in my opinion. There is a little bit of a squishy sound at times when walking that I don't experience with other shoes. Would love a little more width and to see a hiking boot option in wide.

These shoes are great, unfortunately my feet are not. They were like balm for my injured foot but did not fit well my good foot. The insole is constructed in a way to correct overpronation, and it bothered the inner side of my good foot. I tried a few different sizes and different widths, and still couldn't make them work.

I fell in love with Bondi 4 or 5, size 11 medium, it's been awhile, and wore them out. I tried subsequent iterations but none felt as good. So I tried the Bondi 8 11 medium, 11 wide, and 12 wide. The 11 medium was short: toes on left foot which is bigger than right foot rubbed against toe of shoe. Same with 11 wide. The 12 wide fit with some room to spare especially on my smaller foot. What would make this shoe outstanding would be more cushion under the toes. I have arthritic feet and can use all the cushion I can get. I normally wear an 11 medium in sandals and 12 usually in closed toe shoes. By the end of the day my feet tend to swell so I appreciate the wide offerings.

I have worn these for 3 weeks now. 5 days a week. I got the medium width. I have never bought a wide width shoe for any reason. BUT. These I have to retire. Only bc the toe box is too narrow and I have developed corns and blisters in btw 2 toes. The pain from this unfortunately overrides the overall comfort on this sneakers. So now I’m getting a wide width to see if that solves my problem.

They are very comfortable for walking although they are not the most attractive shoe. The toe box is very large and the shoe looks a little comical for my 5'2" frame slim ankles. They are good for stability and has a lot of padding.

They seemed to run a bit small. I wear an 8 1/2 and they are rather tight and snug in the toe area so I can only wear very thin socks with them. The sole is wide spread, making them very secure to wear on uneven terrain without fear of rolling an ankle. They are sort of clunky but in this orange color with different hues it makes the look a bit less clunky. If I ordered again, I would order a half size larger. I would not say they have relieved all my foot and heel pain but it's better than other footwear.
