I ordered a men's 10.5 Mach 5 and received a women's 6.5 wide Speedgoat 5. I called and was told I would have to return them in order to get a refund because they do not have the shoe I ordered. I explained to them that it's an hour drive for me to get to the Post office and I have wasted 30 minutes discussing it with them on the phone. They could give me no other resolution so I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. I usually buy about 4 pairs per year for me and my wife, but it's time to change brands.

"How (I) use the product?" I DON'T use it. It never came, after I waited in-town all week. Then I had to buy my shoes elsewhere.

Have purchased multiple pairs of the Mach 5 since it's been out was very disappointed this time. Seems like they may have fitted this size wrong or put the wrong size on this shoe. I compared it to the Mach 6 that I purchased at the same time, that's also the same size, and this shoes is an inch bigger from heel to toe. Overall would not buy this pair again

I ordered 4 pairs of the Mach 5 KNOWING Hoka may change the shoes drastically. Of course, they did. The Mach 6 are COMPLETELY different from the Mach 5. The wide version is VERY narrow and the soles are super high. I twisted my ankle walking in it. Horrible. I'm about done buying Hokas because they're never the same. I finally had found shoes that help with my plantar fasciitis and now they're gone. Whoever thought changing the shoes every couple months was a good idea should be fired.

I bought a pair of Hoka's for work. They arrived dirty. The souls looked like they were worn and there is a dirt mark on the white part of the shoe. I literally opened the box, tried them on to make sure they fit so I could reorder. I am not very happy.

I have had the Mach 4's and loved them. Although after 200 road miles the soles were worn they were a GREAT shoe. Can't say the same for the Mach 5. My biggest complaint is the tongue of the shoe has zero cushioning or support pad. The Mach 4 had a slight padding that would help wear the shoes tight. The Mach 5's are less comfortable and the tongue will be the reason I won't buy any Mach 6's as they appear to be the same way. Currently alternating between Speedlands & Alpha Flys until I find another good Hoka everyday running shoe. Wish I could get my hands back on a new pair of 4's.

The quality of these shoes has significantly diminished, especially in terms of the fabric plushness, tongue construction, and even the feel of the cushioning. Had bought a pair of these 2 years ago and loved them, but this more modern model was horrible

The Mach 4 was a much better shoe. The Mach 5 is too narrow. I have a medium foot width. I hope that for the Mach 6 they revert to the Mach 4 fit and shape, otherwise I am not buying this shoe again. It's a shame because I loved the Mach 4.

These shoes have horrible durability and don't live up to the Hoka name. I've only had them for 2 months and already the treading on the sole is starting to wear out. My Bondis that I've had for a year are far more durable.

I love Hoka's but after they took off the Carbon X and Carbon X2 I can't find anything that fits right. The Carbon X3 run big. I guess I have to look for another brand. I am very sad another pair I have to return.

These are really comfortable, however, they’re completely worn out after 3 months. Worn walking 3 miles a day.

This is the most uncomfortable walking / running shoe I have ever owned. The size and fit is correct, but the cushion in the heel area make walking very unnatural. My calves and feet hurt when I wear them, and even if I lean back slightly, I have to keep myself from falling backwards.

These shoes are made out of Marshmellows, ive had them for 2 months and have been running in them and the outsole has just shredded away. The white part of the outsole is completely gone on the left foot up by my big toe and its down to the blue layer.

I've had five pairs of Hoka Clifton 7s. These Mach 5s are the same size and width as those, and are much too big all around. With so little padding and such thin uppers, that makes no sense. Bulk is what makes running shoes bigger. The long 'bump' thing in the midsole that gives the "return" energy the Clifton 7 lacks is the most uncomfortable and nonsensical way to add return energy I've ever seen. Lastly, these are cheap looking and feeling, with a footprint like gun boats. Placed next to my Clifton 7 the Mach 5 is more than an inch longer, not including that new 'heel spur'-like addition at the heel of the Mach 5. The "knit" upper feels plastic-y and stiff. There is zero padding in the tongue - not even another piece of material - and the tongues sit crooked. $140... I'm really disappointed Hoka would make such a rip off shoe. I didn't think they'd fall that quickly.

I am a XC and Track runner started running with Hokas exclusively for a long time. However the mach 5 made me develop ankle and feet pain. I only used the shoes for about hundred miles, but feel ripped off.
