Wrong color was sent and size guidance from customer service was incorrect. Returned them immediately.

I normally wear a women's 10w. After my last pair of bondis ran small and got a hole in the upper within the first 6 months, I decide to go larger this time. I ordered a men's 9w (w10.5WW) this time. The fit is still very narrow - this fits like women's 10B. The sole is very wide but the actual cloth upper is not, and I am worried it will show strain from stretching too quickly again. I can't imagine any man with wide feet able to even pull these on!

I loved the bondi 7 nice and comfortable. Bondi 8 is a tad bit disappointing.

The shoe is for everyday use and long walks with my dog. The Bondi 8 has less cushion compared to the Bondi 7. After walking with the Bondi 8, my knees are sore. I had no knee soreness with the Bondi 7

The original Hoka Bondi was a game changer! I have worn out pairs of Bondi 6 and Bondi 7. The Bondi 7 was not as comfortable and as durable as the 6 but it was still about a 4 star. The Bondi 8 has not been comfortable and my feet hurt after going on 4 mile walks. They are a "grass cutting" shoe.

The Bondi 8 is nowhere near as plush as the Bondi 7. It is too firm out of the box, and wears a tad clunky. I had 2 previous pairs of Bondi 7's which, after a lifetime of searching, were finally "the" shoe for an aging former runner now high mileage walker to provide sufficient cushion for my my aging one knee and my surgically replaced other knee. It's just a huge disappointment. Why try to improve on an already good shoe?

I thought max cushioning means soft under the feet. These shoes have hard soles that are just big. I will go with NIKE or Skechers for soft cushions.

This shoe has 3 issues. First is the tongue gusset, it's one one side and pulls the tongue over. I have Clifton's for the tread mill and they put double gussets in that one which bothers your foot. I had to cut them out with scissors. Hoka please stop with the tongue gussets they are annoying. 2nd is these are not as soft as the bondi 7's, apparently plush is being redesigned. 3rd is the material over the foot. It's to tight and smashes your foot down on the outside. Both my wife and I wear wides and she has the same issue. Will prob send back in hopes of getting 7's and after that find a different brand. They messed up the Clifton's and was hoping they would not do it to the Bondi's. What a bummer. Mine also showed up with glue on the upper mesh.

The 7 was perfect! You should have left it alone and just introduced more color options if inclined.

For some reason hokka has decided to sew the tongue to the inside of the shoe. Also the nice cushioning from the bondi 7 is gone. A firmer ride and one i dont care for that much. I run about 30 - 40 miles a week and although ill use these shoes, i won't be buying the bondi 8s again. Love the bondi 7s and i need to buy another pair before they go away.

The bondi 8 is defective . The outsole digs into your arch as you walk making the show very uncomfortable . Myself and multiple other people I’ve talked to have felt the same . Too bad because I like the style and the padding . I can’t believe they designed a shoe with such a flaw

Delivered to wrong house and tride them on and they were rubbing the arch of my feet. Not impressed at all for such an expensive shoe.

Should have listened to the reviews. WAY TOO TIGHT in the TOE BOX! Wish I could find Bondi 7 again!

The Bondi 7 was great. The 8 is bad. The area around the toes, ball of foot flares out so wide that I kept tripping over my feet. You can't walk straight in these. Why did they do this?

I just purchased two new pairs of Hoka shoes, the Bondi 7 and Bondi 8. The Bondi 7 is better in many ways than the new Bondi 8. The difference:
- Bondi 8 has substantially smaller toe box area for me. (High instep means I need to loosen my laces in the toe area and I cannot do that when the lace gap is 1.5 cm smaller).
- Bondi 7 tongue is NOT stitched to the side of the shoe. I have wide feet and a high instep. The attachment of the tongue to the inside of the shoe causes the tongue to hang to the side
- Bondi 7 heels feel like memory foam, and Bondi 8 just foam.
- Bondi 8 missing toe box lace tie down. Not a big deal, but shows effort to reduce component costs
- Reflector strips in back missing (needed for my early morning walks). No reflector on Bondi 8
- The Bondi 8 in general feels "cheaper" and smaller
- Bondi 7 has cool laces! (strip down the middle), and Bondi 8 has regular cheap laces
So if you have a high instep and wide feet, don't bother. If you have normal feet, the Bondi 8s might work for you.

This is the second time that I have returned a Hoka Bondi 8. The shoe is great, however since Zappos was bought out by Amazon, Zappos quality control has gone downhill. Both pairs of Hoka Bondi 8's were purchased separately, both delivered by Amazon, both arrived in plain "brown" boxes, NO Hoka box was included, and both were obviously worn. There was no cardboard in the toe of the shoes, they were not wrapped in tissue paper, but merely tossed in a brown box with the laces undone. I have been a Zappos VIP for over 20 yrs and made my feelings known to their customer service. When you pay $179.00 for a pair of Hokas they should arrive NEW IN THE ORIGINAL HOKA BOX! I can not and will not purchase Hokas from Zappos. I personally feel this has to do with Amazon's "try before you buy policy" A higher-up in management should be looking into this. Zappos had such a great reputation!

This is my third set of Hoka's and the most expensive shoes I have ever purchased for myself. They hurt my feet, and it is not like they are too small, they put excessive pressure on parts of my heals (insides) as well as on the insides of my big toe. I don't think they are too small, but something is off. After less than a month I can't stand to wear them anymore.

Bondi 6 YAY! Bondi 7 YAY!! Bondi 8 Boo! After walking 40 miles in the new Bondi 8 I am disappointed and concerned that I'm going to be able to find something that will allow me to walk 10+ miles a day. My take is that the Bondi 8 has less forefoot cushioning and is not as supportive overall. My body (hips, feet) felt like I'd already put 400 miles on these 3 day old sneakers. I had bought two pair so returned the pair still in the box and figure out what to do with the pair I've put in my closet for now.
I'd also recommend:
Bondi 7, Bondi SR, and TBD

I really like the Bondi 8s, they have a bigger toe box than the Bondi 7s. They are also super cushioned, a really good shoe. I wish they still made them as opposed to the Bondi 9s.

This pair felt good. I placed an order for a second pair. I saved the second pair for when this pair wore out. I should have tried on the second pair instead of just saving them. The second pair of the exact same Bondi 8 shoes had a defective right shoe, it feels a size smaller, and hurts to wear.
So, I have a pair of shoes cant wear.
