Having bought and owning three pairs of Bondi 7 shoes, all used for runs/walks of 5-9 miles, I thought to try the Bondi 8. While the cushioning is great, the Bondi 7 shoes are more comfortable and nicer fitting right out of the box and onto the street. The Bondi 8 feels much tighter and I think it will take several more outing before it fits me as comfortably as the Bond 7.

My left ankle was rebuilt and my right is arthritic. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars looking for a shoe that will feel good to walk in and provide stability to help alleviate most of my pain. These shoes have made it so I can walk almost normal again. I’ve purchased a second pair.

This shoe is the ultimate comfort shoe. I walk four miles daily in the Arizona heat and the Montana cold, and these shoes perform exceptionally well in both environments. I've tried all the name brand shoes over that last 20 years and the Bondi is superior to all of them.

These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I work on a concrete surface all day and these are worth every penny.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and after one day in Hokas they're singing the praise for the first time in years! I've been through a lot of shoes, all the popular brands none of them are unique like Hokas. Most shoes claim to be wide, they aren't. Most shoes claim to have comfortable inserts, they don't. The Bondi 8 is the first pair of shoes that I do not need to buy an insert for. I have a high arch and almost every pair of shoes I buy, I have to buy high arch inserts. Well, the Bondi 8 already has that support right in the design. The extra wide model was just wide enough, although snug, gives me the support I needed. These are so light you barely know they're in your feet, but keep in mind there is a break in period. Just keep wearing them, you have 30 days to return them. I don't regret spending the money, and I bought my girlfriend a pair. So that says something. We are happy Hoka owners! I am sure you will be too.

I'm on my feet walking 15000 steps a day. These shoes are wonderful, comfortable, and awesome looking. Only negative is the tongue of the shoes are anchored on one side. Therefore, you can't get tge tongue to set straight under the shoe laces.

I keep buying shoes, trying to find that pair that will enable me to do my errands (all on cement floors) without crippling me for the next two days. (Big foot issues.) After hours of perusing Hoka's offerings and reviews, I decided to try the Bondi 8. Since manufacturers still haven't figured out that women with wide feet really resent that the manufacturers snub us by really limiting their wide shoes for women, I now shop for men's shoes and found that the men's 8.5w fits me perfectly (used to wear women's 10ww or equivalent). (And don't get me started on "unisex" sizing; guess the manufacturers are just feelin' a bit lazy.) Anyway.... the Bondi 8 in men's 8.5w, as I said, fits perfectly. HOWEVER (you knew that was coming), as springy as it is, it offers nothing in metatarsal cushioning and arch support. So I've spent $60 more for insoles that arrive today and I hope beyond hope they'll do the job. Still, I'm very soured on shopping for women's wide shoes -- hear that, Hoka and Skechers and OOfos and Brooks and Birkenstock and Kork-Ease and Born and all the others?

The bondi 8 feels less cushy as the bondi 7 . I walk miles a day at work on concrete floors and bondi 7 has saved my life . I got the bondi 8 and it feels flatter , less bouncy . My feet actually hurt a bit after a day at work and they never hurt with the bondi 7 .

The Bondi 8's are not as comfortable as the Bondi 7's. Doesn't feel like they have as much cushion in the sole of the shoe. I'm a Bondi 7 fan for life.

Normally a true 10.5 men's with average width. In fact some 10.5 fit me large. These were marked 10 .5D and fit very tight and uncomfortable. I will probably try them in a half size larger and possibly the E width only because my wife has a pair and loves them. Otherwise, I would not spend the $$$ because first impressions were not favorable.

I love these but they broke down in less than 4 months. There is a hole in the back of the shoe. I like to walk (not run) and I barely wore these. Disappointing considering the cost.

I am not a fan of this new release the bottom edges are so wide and edges are cutting in the side of my foot. The heel cup depth is so shallow if using an orthotics not enough room and have to lace all way up which is very uncomfortable just to keep heel in place. Very dissatisfying for the price

The show is extremely comfortable. The only issue I have is the shoe is too small. In New Balance v840's I wear a 9 2E but even the Bondi 8's 9 4E is too small in the tow box. If they widened the shoe in the toe box more I would definitely buy another pair.

The length and width of the shoe felt right, but there was a part of the outer sole that pokes up around the arch and it was not wide enough there. As a result, the hard outer sole jams up into the arch on every step creating pain. Tried two widths at the same size and both had the same issue. If it was not for this painful bit in the arch they would be outstanding shoes, but that flaw makes them unwearable.

I'm a Hoka fan and was hoping the Bondi 8 was going to be as good as the Bondi 7. Too quickly summarize, it's not! The Bondi 8 simply lacks the plush cushioning of the 7!

The shoe felt comfortable but was too bulky. It was difficult to drive my car. The shoe was so bulky that I had trouble feeling the brake and accelerator and it was so wide that it touched both pedals at the same time.

After only 2 months of wearing them to work 5 days a wewk, a hole where my pinkie toe is has appeared. One would expect a betyer build quality for a shoe at this price point. Sad sad quality Hoka.
