I wear size 12 regular (medium width). I also have plantar fasciitis and a bone spur in my right heel. Was told this Bondi 8 was good for me. Worst shoe I ever bought!!! No arch support. Width at heel was actually too narrow! Width at other end of my foot was "super wide". I looked like "Bozo the Clown" wearing these (extremely lightweight/cheaply made) shoes. And for $170 ................ I guess there's a sucker born every day. I went to my local Skechers store this morning. It was a wise decision compared to Hoky shoes.
I'd also recommend:

Wore a hole through the upper in less than 4 months. Slightly narrower than expected. These were Bondi 7.

The 8's overall fit is not great at all. Too tight, seems to have lost the depth in the shoe, material seems cheap.

It is a beautiful product, but does not work for me. It is not wide enough!

The Bondi 7 is as good a running shoe as I have found, so I naturally thought the Bondi 8 would be even better. Wrong! The wide shoes (4-E) make the shoe look wider than they are long, and they are not only weird looking but not better in any way than the 7's. Problem is the 7's are no where to be found. I couldn't recommend the Bondi 7's and higher, they are near perfect. The 8's ought to have been an improvement, they are not, and HOKA should continue offering the 7's in wide sizes along with the 8's.

I saw a lot of my coworkers in the hospital using Hoka so I got curious. I bought the Bondi 8 hoping that this will be the shoes that I need. I have plantar fasciitis so I expect this will help a lot. First day of use. Blisters on both my toes and on the inner side of my left foot. The squeaking sound when you walk. Not good if you work night shift, it's noisy. Sure cusiin is great, but I'm extremely unsatisfied. Too bad I threw away my old shoes when I got his one.

I love the Bondi, but Hoka changes their shoes way too often when their earlier iterations are better. The extra wide with the red and yellow trim made it look and feel like I was wearing Ronald McDonald clown shoes. I'm now in between the wide and extra wide sizes.

Unfortunately had to send these back. I need a very comfortable sneaker because of my neuropathy. I don't run but my past bondi6 sneakers have been keeping me walking for miles . The bondi 8 just didn't fit right especially in the arch.

One week after buying the back flap to help pull on your shoe came undone. I called I did not want to return because I am a teacher I needed to keep the shoes. I asked if I could get something off another pair. 10%. R u kidding me. 16 bucks off. Won't buy Hokas again. They won't support there own product I guess I don't need to support them. To bad cause I like the shoe but when u don't support your own product I can't

I had a feeling that Hoka would eventually start sacrificing quality for quantity I just didn't realize it would happen so soon. Many companies that start becoming successful start falling in line with this pattern.
The Bondi 8 is an absolute abomination when compared to previous Bondis. I fell in love with Hoka Bondi 5s the first time I wore it. I've bought about 5 different pairs of hoka shoes since and I can say without a doubt that the Bondi 8s are by far the worst hoka shoes I've bought so far.
Why??? Because of false advertisement.
Bondi 8s are advertised as plush. They are not plush. In fact the soles are extremely stiff. The bondi series should be removed from the orthopedic section. These shoes have single handedly brought back plantar fasciitis in my left foot and caused my right calf to become extremely stiff.
I don't understand why you guys have to create new versions of the shoes consumers fell in love with in the first place. Bring back the bondi 5s or create a custom request section to be able to obtain the old shoes we love. Especially if you guys are going to ruins great shoes with the next versions.
I don't know I'm very disappointed and am considering sending by Bondi 8s back if they don't break in soon.

So disappointing. The foam continues above the sole of the shoe and digs in to my arch. Avoid if you have any form of flattish feet. Unwearable.
Disappointed,

This is the only 4E shoe that I've found that was not true to its size. It was too narrow, mid foot, and made for an exceptionally uncomfortable user experience. I was incredibly excited to receive my shoes in the mail, but was quickly disappointed.

Design of the Bondi 8 is much different than the 7 and 6.
Could not get foot into the shoe due to the way the tongue is secured to the side of the shoe, which makes the opening too narrow.
Returned and got a pair of Bondi 7's. They store great.

I'm big Hoka fan. I have 14 pairs. They are mostly split between Bondi 6 and 7. I bought my first pair of the Bondi 8's recently. I put them on and walked around the house for about 10 minutes, put them back in the box and returned them. I immediately got online and ordered the color I was needing in the Bondi 7. the 8's don't even feel like the same shoe. Personally, I felt the Bondi 6 was the best fit for me, and the Bondi 7 was comparable. But the Bondi 8 is a completely different feel.
