not happy with this shoe

Somehow more clunky than predecessor and doesn't feel as squishy (the only reason to get Bondis)

I have the Bondi 7 and it was /is the most comfortable tennis shoe I have ever owned and allowed me to start walking again for exercise despite my foot problems. I have just ordered the Bondi 7's on sale and will put my Bondi 8's in the back of my closet. Way too wide, rigid and not as cushioned and comfortable as the 7's.

I bought a pair of Bondi 8s fm a running store. Love them. Bought another pair online. Both are 10EEEE. They are not the same shoe. The online pair fm Hoka are at least one size smaller than the pair fm the running store. When I went to rrurn them, the website would not show my size. A very disappointing experience with this company. Love the shoe, but I'll only buy fm a store where I can try them on.

I was very unhappy that I could not exchange this shoe for another Hoka. This shoe is to high and I have trouble walking on it. I would like to send back and get a Clifton.

Had Bondi 7, size 10 4EE fit great, best ever. Ordered Bondi 8 same sizing, too cramped in toe box, hurts my feet. I stand all day at work, the new ones are unacceptable.

What happened when they went to Bondi 8? Uncomfortable and tight. Checked where it was made.China. Other Bondi's made elsewhere. Try to find Bondi 7's for sale. You'll be way happier. I'm hoping Hoka didn't move all manufacturing to China. I have to jump ship. Went with the newest New Balance. Great!!

I do not understand what is happening with Hoka but their quality have gone from best to worst. The sizes where change or something because my Bondi 7 size 8.5 shoes in the past fit perfectly but my new Bondi 8 size 8.5 does not fit. They do not feel like walking in the clouds like with the previous model. I also bought a pair for my husband who has a coulpe of Hoka shoes already and the fit is super off. Saving money in production is not how you keep your customers.

This hookas are very incomfortable. Are very painful to wear.

Returned as the foot bed is stiff

The order took 2 weeks to ship and once received the shoes were so uncomfortable I could not stand to wear them. They were returned after less than 2 hours of use.

I had this shoe for only a month when i noticed the sole separating from the shoe on one foot, then i checked the second shoe and the same thing was happening! I am not a runner, I am a health professional who only wears them to stand long periods. It is very concerning that a shoe so expensive, is made with such low quality.

Ordered the wide and didn't fit and returned them for the extra wide and still didn't fit right and the website would not allow me to return the second pair for a refund and it has been less than 30 days

Returned the same day I received it. Size ran too small.

These turned out not to be for me. Too high a platform, feel like elevator shoes, and the site won't let me return.

Love Hoka and have been buying them for several years and many previous Bondi models. But whatever changes were made to the Bondi 8 do not agree with my feet. Although I keep thinking the more I wear them, maybe they will break in more and feel like the previous versions, but so far they keep aggravating my feet. Unfortunately, will have to discard this pair and buy a different shoe.

Too bulky. They look too wide on me. I love Hoka, I have purchased 8 pairs already and have encouraged my co workers to do the same. I am a Hoka advocate! I just did not like the Bondi 8. I own 4 pairs of Bondi 7.

I hate to say I have been very unhappy - I have worn New Balance in the past with my wide foot but I thought I would try Hoka - even though I ordered an extra wide - they hurt my feet so much I can not wear them any more Dave

These shoes were for walking. I thought that the Bondi 8 would be similar to the Bondi 7. There is no comparison. There is no cushioning in the 8 vs the 7. I often wonder why companies try to change which is a good seller in order to save money. There are a lot of negative reviews on the lack of cushioning.

Good afternoon, I am a Hoka user, I have used the clifton edge, match 4, clifton 8 and I bought the bondi 8 because I like to try new models. In this model, strangely, the shoe is beginning to show its seam on the inside of the shoe with the little use I have given it. Very strange because it has been excellent with the other models that I had tried.

J bought 2 pairs of bondi 8s, and something is wrong with this one. My boring all grey pair is great as usual, but the left shoe on this pair is out of wack somehow and my foot, ankle, knee, hip, and back are all super sore by the end of my 12 hour shift. Hoping the exchange goes well!

The bottom is very comfortable but the ankle support is terrible. I had to get low tops because none of the high tops come in wide which makes no sense. I have a birth defect in my right foot where I need the ankle support. I have tripped several times because the lack of support for my ankle.

I have several pair of Bondi 6's which I love. I bought a Bondi 7 which was no where near as soft/cushioned as the Bondi 6. The Bondi 7 sits in my closet because I can't wear them. Hope springs eternal and I bought the Bondi 8 hoping for the plushness of the Bondi 6 but unfortunately it's better than the Bondi 7 but still not very close to the Bondi 6. I had the same problem with the early Cliftons, the later versions lost the plushness of the early models. I really don't understand why Hoka can't leave a popular model well enough alone! I will be looking into other brands.

I work in a heath care environment for 12 plus hours a night, 5 to 6 days a week. I bought these thinking they would help. The outer sides of my feet are in constant pain when wearing them. I've had this pair for about 3 weeks, and they get worse every night I wear them. Disappointment doesn't begin to describe it.

I have 1 pair of Bondi 7 and 2 pairs of Clifton 7, both shoes are so much better than the new Bondi 8, I wore them a couple days and did not like them at all. What a shame to see the Bondi line take a step backwards. Exchanged them for a pair of Cliftons.
