I really heard very good stuff about Hoka product, this was my first time getting this brand, I was disappointed, not comfortable at all. I never wore Any wide shoes, if you are getting this one get it wide.

I have been thrilled with the comfort of the first pair of Bondi 7 I bought this past year, I wish I got more then because the Bondi 8 I recently purchased were too uncomfortable to keep. The outer soil that comes up higher on the sides of my feet make them much narrower even in extra wide and they not feel as cushioned as the Bondi 7. Please bring back the former version!

love bondi 8 on how the wide the surface area is ,like 1/2 inch protruding both sides. not as comfortable as clifton 6. the clifton 8 has been narrowed ... not to my liking.

I am still trying to figure out how a company that claims to know about cushion and/or plushness does not have a clue on either. Your Bondi 8 has NO cushion whatsoever. Again....the last shoe you created that did...was your Bondi 4. If I had known now what I knew then? I would have bought 30 pairs of those.

I have been proudly wearing and advocating for Hoka since my introduction to the Men's Bondi 6. However, the Bondi 8 is a total setback. The Bondi 8 is NOT plush, the shoe feels heavy when running, and the rocker insole is nonexistent. The Bondi 8 is a total let down from the previous models. The only aspect that I like about this particular model is the extended heel cushion. As you know, the Hoka brand has questionable durability issues. I'm for change and product improvement, but this was a bridge to far. Please listen to the customers and go back to the drawing board. I know Hoka can do it because the Bondi 6 and 7 were excellent models. I have to report that I had to switch to New Balance and Brooks this time around.

Ridged, big, ugly, hard and inflexible. Maybe my pair didn’t come with the comfort option. I have worn a lot of shoes and I am really curious what those folks who say these are wonderfully comfortable are wearing, because it’s not these shoes. As far as the design … the reviewer that compared them to clown shoes was correct. I have tried two different pairs and am twice as disappointed.

The Bondi 8 colors are awesome, but the fit is terrible and flat. What happened to the maximum cushion? For the record, I owned over 50 pairs of Hoka's-all push cushioned (Bondi7, Clifton L GTX, Bondi 7 GTX, Old Skool Mafate, Gaviota 4, Stinson 6, and Bondi L's). I'm a long distance runner and the Hoka's models I just mentioned are awsome shoes to help support my knees, legs, and ankles. Take it from me, an Army Veteran who serve time as an Infantryman. Kindlly speaking, Hoka needs to go back to the drawing board and remake these shoes with the Hoka maxiumum cushion they deserve. In a nutshell, you cheated us with this new Bondi 8 model..

The shoe at the toe/front was so wide. It looked like a Ronald McDonald shoe. It was ridiculous. There was so much extra width on the sole of the shoe that it looked round. At this price point you'd think the shoe wouldn't resemble a clown shoe. I returned them the exact same day I received them. Waste of time.

So I went with the sizing based on the size of my Brooks using the converter provided by Hoka. Turned out to be small, so I did an exchange. Fair enough. The "new" pair arrived with the laces tied up on the right foot, like someone had worn it, then simply pried it off of their foot. Turned out the arch in the right foot was lumpy as well. I concluded I was sent someone elses return. Took me a bit to figure how to return an exchange, by adding the "EX" to the order number to get the system to take it. A week+ after my return, I'm being asked to review my purchase. I had high hopes, but wouldn't risk another attempt via mail order. Would have to be in a shop.

These shoes were very hard . I wear a different brand and my husband wears these. So I bought both of us a pair and they both were very hard. I tried to send them back but the website site wasn't user friendly.

My Bondi 6 pair was the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Not sure what happened but my new Bondi 8 hurt my feet so bad. Would not purchase again. Probably switch to OC.

Cushion feel is absent. Please bring back Bondi 7 or 6. Many have knee and back issues - the soft cushion is essential for our everyday wear. The feel is very similar to the Gaviota, which is a firmer feel. Please bring back the Bondi 7 or 6.

My feet actually hurt from these shoes. I love the way they look and have tried 3 different insoles but they still cause major heel pain. First and only time I've bought this brand.

I have two pairs of Hokas and both are causing me severe foot pain. I am 90% sure it is the shoe so I dont want to assume this is for sure. However, I cant walk without pain now and both my shoes are hoka.

First let me begin with the fact that I am a huge fan of Hoka. I have had about a dozen pairs of Hokas and customarily buy Hoka Bondi. The 8's are a disappointment and sized too narrow and too small. Clearly different than the predecessor Bondi 7. I will contact Hoka to see if they will exchange for either a larger size or send to me a pair of Bondi 7's.

I have 4E+ wide feet with low arches I've been wearing the same lunar glide 7s in custom wides since they came out 7+ years because they don't make them like they used to. These Bondi 8's dig into the sides of my feet they told me to try bondi 7 wide, they said they have a lower arch, they also dig into the sides of my feet.

I am sorry to have to write this comment. The shoe was hard. It is the only style that I have worn that was so uncomfortable.

This shoe killed the back of my heels and they feel so big an awkward. The front of the shoe feels good and cushioning but the heel of the shoe has to go. Sent them back after 4 different times wearing them. I definitely felt like I was walking on something hard in the heel when I wore them . A lot of money for a shoe that's not comfortable but I'm going to try the 7 since people swear by them.

I got a pair of Bondi 8 recommended by a specialist, I mentioned I do a lot of walking and running, first time I put them on after a few hours wearing them gave my a foot ache, decided to give them a second chance since the investment on this RECOMMENDED shoes was pretty high to be honest, same results, I was so uncomfortable I wished I had another pair with me to switch them up, overall shoes are super bulkie, really heavy for a walking shoe wouldn't buy again
