Better than the 7s. Greatly helps me deal with my heel spur.

After 6 months, I feel that I am able to give a lived in review of the Bondi 8. I am quite pleased with the comfort and stability I have when walking. Having had ankle issues for months, the Bondi 8 has been great for not making things worse and allows me to feel more confident taking extended walks without pain. I really like the plush cushioning and find that a definite plus. This has been a great purchase that I don't regret having bought.

I was wearing the Bondi 7 and absolutely loved loved them. I actually wore them out. My very favorite shoe ever. Because they aren't made anymore, I ordered the Bondi 8 and I am so disappointed. These are no way close to what I was wearing. They hurt the inside bottom of my feet as well as the soles of my feet. I've tried to wear them to see if I could get used to them, but they are just awful. I found a Bondi 7 in my size online in a color I really don't want but it was the only color available in my size. I will happily wear them for the comfort!! Please bring back the Bondi 7! Thank you!! They actually feel too big in the toe section and too small near bottom of ankle!

I bought these because I do treadmill running at the gym and I walk a lot. At 68 years of age I am blessed with pretty good knees and I hope to keep them that way as long as I can. If you want maximum comfort, these are the ones!

I've got several brands of gym shoes but my new HOKA's are the best. Glad I saw them reviewed on CNN website.

This pair of HOKAS are my fifth pair that I've bought. These Bondi 8s feels so good on my feet that when I'm doing my daily four mile walks, I can hardly feel the road. The socks were a great addition too. They're thick enough that my feet don't move around in my shoes. I'm already looking to purchase the Bondi 9s next month. When it comes to walking, I only wear HOKAS.

I walk several miles every day, and I do strength training a few times a week. I have very, very wide feet, so there are not many choices out there. I generally have to purchase men's shoes to get the width I need. I've tried all the special brands that are supposed to be made especially for people with problem feet and are recommended by podiatrists. All of them. I thought the last time I looked, HOKA didn't have the right size, but it does now! I actually like the color of the men's shoes I bought better than those in women's shoes. These are literally the best athletic shoes I've ever had. They have enough cushion to be really comfortable, they are sturdy, and oh my goodness...the stability! Balance exercises are so much easier! On top of all that, they really look great...I've had so many compliments, and no one guessed I was wearing a man's shoe!

I have extra wide feet and these shoes make my feet feel so much better! I spend 8 to 9 hours a day on the surgical floor and this was a life saver

I use my Bondi 8's for walking. I was walking 4 miles 5 days a week but,I cutback to 3miles 3 days a week because the sneakers I had been wearing hurt when walking long distances. Since I have been wearing the Bondi 8's I can increase the distance I walk because they are so comfortable.

I only have 10 Mike's on the Bondi 8 so far. They are comfortable and definitely cushy. I'm using them for slow easy runs. They fit the bill. They feel heavy compared to the Mach 4 and Carbon X 3. Overall they seem good for recovery days.

Bought these after foot surgery because others with same surgery recommend them. They are not working and actually more painful. Good shoes but now I'm stuck with an expensive shoes I can't use.

Hola: these shoes fit well, right out of the box. Bio women and I've been purchasing women size 11 shoes, in as wide a size 11 as possible. Thought I'd try the mens size 9 wide and so far, so good. The one upgrade I'd make regards the shoe laces. Both laces are very stiff and difficult to loosen enough to slide my feet in. I had to remove each lace and reinstall as loosely as possible. I purchased the grey pair and like the color. Once on, the shoes don't look masculine, just well fitting.

I use them for work mostly, takes some getting used to, the tongue is sewn towards the inside instead of the middle.

I really wanted the Bondi 8 to work for me. My daughter won't wear anything but the Bondi for running and training. The cushion and stability are great. However I had to send them back as there was too much pinching in the forefoot. They are not as wide as a New Balance or Brooks 4E. Fix that problem and I'll join the Hoka fam!
