I had a pair of Bondis maybe 3 years ago? I remember them being pretty stiff, not that cushioned but dang tall. I have a 50ish mile road race in September I'm trying to find shoes for and was hoping these would fit the bill...nope, not exactly. I had some Cliftons a couple years ago also which were like clouds compared to these. I think I get what these are meant for so I will keep them, but now I need another pair that are actually soft and pillowly since these can't now be my only training shoe afetr tossing my old Rincons...which after about 4-500 miles felt softer than these. SO weird.

Pretty heavy and confining. Am waiting for refund so I can try a different style, preferably Clifton 9.

5/5 always if they keep up with the amazing cushion & comfort. The padding in the tounge & heel collar is perfect. The heel outer sole wears a bit fast however, that is the only down side.

My podiatrist recommended this shoe for a weakened tendon problem. This shoe: keeps me out of my boot and off my cane almost completely, improves my gait to almost natural and is supportive on concrete. So grateful I found them.

One of the lightest shoes I have ever purchased. It feels like I am walking on air! So comfortable and cool!

I have found the latest Bondi and Clifton's smaller than advertised. You need to go up 1/2 size.

The Hoka Bondi 8 are very comfortable. I take fairly long walks (5-7 miles) and these shoes supply plenty of support. Once minor thing I do not like is the fact the shoe tongue is sewed to the sides of the shoes. I like to be able to move the tongue around where it is comfortable for me. Other than that...I would definitely purchase these shoes again.

I wear these every day, every where. I have neuropathy in my feet so the extra cushion and great support are a plus. The Bondi 8 however, made a weird change and sewed down only one side of the tongue. This means that when you want to tie your shoes and pull up the tongue it only moves on one side. I ended up cutting the side that was sewed down with some scissors. Now they fit better. I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish with this change but it seems like more of an impediment than being helpful.

I've not owned these long enough to know how they'll fare over time, but I've walked several miles in them so far and I really like them. They feel like you're walking on a wrestling mat, the soles are so soft. I wasn't sure if I would like them being so soft, but they're great!

I got these shoes for my time volunteering at the Aquarium locally. It's a LOT of standing still and explaining things to customers. While these are the BEST for moving around, I would not recommend them for standing still, I found the very soft soles would start to cause foot cramps :)

The Bondi 8 should also come in waterproof/resistant and slip on styles.

These were recommended to me by a physical therapist for arch support since I have flat feet Minimal arch support, still needed to buy arch supports and heel lift, which really added to the price I would not have bought these if I had known this Nice shoe just not what I needed Kept them

I am 65 and needed a shoe to support my previously achy feet. At 6'5" and 280 I needed some cushion and these provided that making my daily LA walkabout more enjoyable. On average I do 3 miles a day with once a week 10 miler thrown in. My only real issue is inside heel wear after only 5 months of daily wear. I'm not sure if this is 'normal' wear or not, but I just walk in them so running may cause wear. Overall I am happy with the shoe but with the quick wear not sure I would recommend them.

I am a nurse in a hospital that walks on hard concrete floors all day long and the pounding is hard on my feet knees and back so I know shoes are important. I used to run so I was aware of the brand and I owned a pair along time ago and figured I would give them a whirl. I have been pleased so far thanks.

I was talked into ordering a pair of the Bondi 8 shoes, because I have such trouble with my knees and lower back. Since wearing the Bondi 8 shoes everyday for several weeks, my leg pain has increased and the swelling in my legs has, what feels like, exponentially increased. I am back to walking with the support of a cane at 61 years old.

As an old man, my feet always hurt. The shoes help with the pain. Soles are wider than I'm used to so I'm relearning where to place my feet.

Hoka only has 1 model in 4E and it's great. I wish it had a more spongy fit. This is the fourth pair and still coming back for more.
