This is my second pair of Bondis. I have a pair of Bondi 6s and now this pair of Bondi 8s. Fit is the same for both versions. However, the color is not as bright as the picture shows for the blue color. It is actually duller than the blue shown. I was hoping for a brighter blue. I'm not a runner. I use these for everyday walking, and they are great! Super cushioning and support.

Wearing these shoes I have virtually eliminated all of my hip & knee pain. They are wide , soft, comfortable & stylish. Since purchasing my first pair several years ago they are now an I wear. I recommend these Hoka's to anyone who will listen & get compliments on them often.

This is my second pair of the Bondi 8. My podiatrist recommended them because I had plantar fasciitis. The plush cushioning helps so much with my condition, helping take the stress off my heel. I even played tennis in them, although I'm taking a bit of a risk in lack of support. So far so good. I also added an orthotic for extra support and that helps as well. I usually don't pay this much for recreational shoes, but since I have plantar fasciitis, it's worth the cost. And for the same reasons as above, I bought and enjoy wearing, their hiking trail shoe.

I've worn the Bondi 7 for a couple of years and they are without a doubt, the best shoes I ever owned in my life (69yrs)!
I recently purchased the Bondi 8. It is continuing the role of an absolutely amazing shoe! I love the fit, feel and comfort. I also love it for the support of my over pronation!
One slight issue I noticed is the 8s are a little narrower in the forefoot.
Will I buy again? ABSOLUTELY!

I' a 250 lb. over-pronator who has spent thousands over the years looking THE most comfortable shoe. I've been wearing the Arashi for the past year and they were mostly successful in that role.
The Bondi is a whole other lever of comfort above that. I wear them at work where I'm on my feet and I come home in the evening with no foot pain.

The issue may be that I need to break in these runners but found I was getting hot spots and blisters on the pads of my feet. Also the heel strike caused soreness after doing 7 miles

Not the Bondi of old for sure but it is wearable, again the overall quality of all your shoes is just not what it use to be.

I'm 77 and only walk since giving up on the gym due to covid. I do average about 3 miles a day though. I've worn Hoka shoes for 5 years since our mailman recommended them. I wore mostly Cliftons, and they're great, but I think the Bondis are even more comfortable for walking and general daily activities.

As a nurse, I'm on my feet for hours throughout the day. Many of my colleagues wear Hoka which is how I discovered them. I feel as though they have cut down on my end of day foot pain and are comfortable overall. This is my third pair of Biondi's. Two things I have noticed that is disappointing. First, they lose the support after about six months. I try to go a bit longer, but for the price, I try to make them last. Secondly, both of my original pair wear out in the back side wall of the shoe exposing a plastic piece that eventually cuts into my foot. Overall I like the Hoka, but am seeking a more durable pair that lasts longer for the money spent. Btw, I'm male, size 10 and weigh 195 lbs

You have to get a bigger size because they run small.

Hoka Bondi 8s develop holes in the inside of the heel. I own 6 pair and rotate them between my runs and everyday wear. Sone developed holes after 4 months. Hoka is great to deal with on warranty issues but my goodness fix the problem. I'm not the only one with this concern. Many of my friends have the same ongoing challenges.

I have been a runner for 59 years averaging 60 to 90 miles es a week based on scheduled races. I wore the Nike Vomero for years until they changed it and someone recommended the Hoka. I have been running in the Hoka for about 18 months and love it. Great feel and responsive. I ordered a size and a half larger than my everyday shoes.

So I had two pair of Bondi's. I said that's enough! But these shoes are so comfortable I hardly wear anything else. Plus, they are so "in" U can wear them nearly anywhere. So I rationalized a third color. Glad I did. I would be remiss if I didn't complement Hoka's customer service and responsive E-Commerce-just excellent!

When I first pulled these out of the box they looked so large I wasn't sure I wanted to wear them. I thought it would be like having two giant hunks of cheese strapped to my feet. But I slipped them on and they just hugged my feet. They are a pleasure to run in and my back pain, which I thought was chronic, has since gone away. I think it was my old running shoes. No doubt I will buy Hokas again. Well worth the $$.

My husband is a perfect size 10. But with the Bondi's, these run both short and narrow. We sized up a 1/2 size. I thought we should have sized up a full size. The length is right, but it's still a bit narrow. My husband thinks it will expand and loosen up when it's broken in. We'll see. I'm a size 7, and I bought a different color in size 7. I did not think about sizing up. It is short. My toes hit the the end of the shoe. And it is still tight, even after several months. My feet get numb after walking a mile. I should have sized up.

I use this product mainly for walking but also as an all around shoe. It was recommended by my podiatrist after foot problems. I do not like the tongue attached to the side of the shoe. Makes it very hard to center.

The Bondi is my go to for every day wear at work as an RN. No more plantar fasciitis for me! These are my 4th pair and I love them! The women's wide is too wide, but I've found that when I get the corresponding men's regular, it's perfect! I usually wear a woman's 10.5, so I buy a men's 9. Foot Heaven!
