I mainly wear them for daily walking 2 1/2 to 3 miles daily. These shoes take the shock out of walking on hard surfaces. They have greatly reduced my back pain.

I often get around on foot and this means walking longer distances and I wanted a comfortable shoe for making those trips. This meets that purpose and keeps my feet from getting sore when walking.

I am on my feet at work and these shoes have been a game changer! So comfortable and easy to walk and stand for long periods. These also provide a wide forefoot and heel base which makes for a steady platform. I have heel issues from plantar fasciitis and these really help with the cushion and overall comfort.

My Bondi 7's were great. The 8's have less volume in the show, however, and if you wear custom orthotics, you will find them extremely tight, especially if you use all the lace holes to accommodate narrow heels.

The hype is real. The "walking on clouds" feeling on these is unmatched. However, I bought these mainly to protect my feet while jumping rope, since I tend to land harder on my dominant foot while skipping. The Bondis offer comfort and protection, but the cushion is so plush that it lacks responsiveness. I found myself having to "dig" into the soles to get my timing right. Also, since the boxer skip form is so compact, the wide soles on the Bondi would graze each other. So these were not ideal for my purposes. That said, if you're looking for a jump rope shoe with protective cushion AND responsiveness, consider the Cliftons. I ordered a pair, and they have been perfect.

I recently purchased the Hoka Bondi 8 in men's size 11, and I'm thoroughly impressed! Right out of the box, the comfort level of these shoes is outstanding. The Bondi 8 offers exceptional cushioning, which makes it feel like I'm walking on clouds, making them perfect for my daily jogs and long walks. The build quality is solid, providing great support and durability without compromising on style. What I appreciate most is how these shoes cater to my needs for both performance and comfort. They're light enough for running yet sturdy enough for all-day wear. The wider toe box is a notable feature that adds extra comfort, ensuring my toes are not cramped and can spread naturally. The aesthetics are sleek and modern, with a design that's versatile enough for both athletic activities and casual outings. I've received several compliments on how they look. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hoka Bondi 8 to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and stylish pair of running shoes. They have certainly exceeded my expectations and have made a significant positive impact on my running and daily comfort.

Ordered size 11 (shoe size for other shoes is 10 1/2). Too small and couldn't get it on. Returned and ordered 11 1/2. Still snug, but otherwise OK

My son needed shoes like this for his job. He is on cement floors in a warehouse for 8-10 hours a day, Monday-Friday. Great support and cushioning on the heel.

The Bondi 8 shoes are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn in a long time. A little pricey, but well worth the cost. I don't plan on doing any running in these shoes, but only to roam around in. My brother enjoyed his Hoka shoes, so I thought I'd give them a try. Glad I did!

As an old, fat (over 200 pounds) guy with replaced hips and knees, I can not recommend these shoes enough. They are wonderful. I walk between 7 and 10 miles every day and can do so without pain. I have not worn out an upper before the soles, which is not the norm for me. Usually my toe pokes out after a month. I will continue to buy these shoes as long as the quality remains the same.

I have plantar fasciitis and I do wear custom orthotics. These are my second pair of Hokas. The first was the Bondi SR which I'm loving. Back to the Bondi 8 I've realized now that although I wear a standard width usually, when I wear HOKA shoes they have to be wide. The fit is perfect and length is true to size, I'm a 13. I wear these shoes for everyday casual occasions and also for exercise walking usually between 2 and 5 miles per day. The 8 is more bouncy than the SR, but it offers great arch support. The 8 is narrower at the mid foot than the SR and seems to fit a little snugger although both are 13 wides. Definitely would buy these and the SR as they are both very comfortable.

This is my first pair of Hoka Bondi. Very comfortable shoe. I could walk or stand in these shoes all day without any discomfort. The downside: the rubber soles of the shoes are cheap! I've only had these shoes for about week and they are already show signs of wear and shoe tread damage.
