I have been a Skechers shoe man for about 5 years and tried on a pair of these and fell in love with the padding and comfort. I only plan to buy Hoka from one.
Warning if you don't have a narrow foot or you have any problems with swelling get the wide or they will fit tight

This is a good shoe. It's comfortable and it's black so it doesn't look so dirty. The only problem is that nobby in the back. There's a problem you know, when you're walking downstairs. It grabs and cause tripping.

I purchased these shoes because I was hearing they were constructed to help provide a sturdy base for walking etc. I am in my 70s and have some health problems and problems with balance. They are helping me feel more steady on my feet. And I have gotten several complements on the shoes as well.

I am a mid 70's walker (former runner but knees went bad). I wanted a cushiony shoe that just felt good. The Bondi 8 hit all the checkmarks for me. I will buy another pair when this one wears out. I love them.

I have heard about Hoka shoe but the price turned me away. But the more I talked to people about them, everyone said they were the best ever. So glad I finally bought them. Lighter weight, superior cushioning, extremely stable. I love my Hokas

I initially purchased this shoe in 9.5 (Regular). But, upon trying them on and wearing them around the house for an evening, my toes felt cramped. I contacted Customer Service, and asked whether I should size up to a 10, or stay with a 9.5 but go wider. The Customer Service rep, Jasmine, told me that the Wide option only gives more room in the toe-box. That's where I need it, so that's what I ordered. I also had to initiate the process for returning the 9.5 (Regular) shoes. The return process couldn't be easier. And, the replacement 9.5 Wide shoes arrived the same day that I placed the returned shoes in the mail. The 9.5 Wides fit perfectly, giving me the room I need in the toe-box, and gripping my heel firmly.

I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes allowed me to walk mile after mile. However, after a little over a year, I have worn the sole in the toe area all the way through. There are other models which have Vibram on the sole, but none with the level of the cushion of the Bondi. It doesn't seem like an unreasonable request. If Hoka were to do this, the Bondi would be the greatest pavement pounders ever devised.

I often get around on foot and this means walking longer distances and I wanted a comfortable shoe for making those trips. This meets that purpose and keeps my feet from getting sore when walking.

This is my 6th pair of Bondi 8 shoes. They were initially recommended by my neighbor who is a surgeon on his feet all day. I've always had bad feet, but not any more! All I ask is please make a hunter green color! People should note, these run a bit small, Get 1/2 size larger than you usually wear.

The Bondi 8 is just what I needed! Light weight, comfortable soft spongie feel for my long walks. My feet don't get tired as much and I can just keep walking for miles.

I have worn Bondi 7 for a few years and they really helped with my PF when nothing else would. The Bondi 8s have been really disappointing. They just plain hurt my feet. I thought I had it figured out by replacing the insoles and they felt good and just needed a little breaking in. After 3 weeks I thought they were good to bring to Disney World. Half way through the first day I couldn't take the pain they were causing my feet in the toe. This had nothing to do with plantar fasciitis. They shoes just hurt. Unfortunately my 30 day window expired while in FL so I guess I am stuck with them.

Using the Hoka Bondi 8 mostly for walking, some treadmill jogging. Very comfortable, light, and wearable for long periods. The laces are great and stay tied. I gave this shoe 4 stars because it's too soon (2 weeks in) to grade the material wear.

I mainly wear them for daily walking 2 1/2 to 3 miles daily. These shoes take the shock out of walking on hard surfaces. They have greatly reduced my back pain.

I ended up returning these within a year (Great return policy!) These shoes were incredibly comfortable until the outer edge started to wear out resulting in my foot overpronating, which was opposite of what someone with low arches should have. Being a bigger guy, I got a different style but in size 15 wide thats still tight. Really hoping that Hoka can make more styles in size 16 (even 16 wide or extra wide would be awesome, as I'd likely buy multiple pairs a year. I love this brand but when you only have 3 options of shoes to buy its disappointing. Come on Hoka!

There are 2 things that take getting used to with these shoes: 1. the tounge is sewn to one side, and 2. the attention these shoes get from those that haven't had them yet. EVERYTHING else is better than your last pair for distance running and walking. So I got another pair.

I have EDS, and my metacarpals are very hypermobile. I also have tendonitis in my lower Achilles tendon. The first couple of days there was pain where the 4th and 5th metacarpals end, but after they got used to the new position, there had been significant improvement in my tendonitis. Definitely recommend!!

Simply amazing. I am so happy with my first pair of Hoka's and it will not be the last. I'll be stocking up on varied colors very soon. The cliche is real as it does feel like walking on a cloud. The support and quality of the soles is an innovation that is reinventing footwear comfort. These shoes are so comfortable I wear them for work, for a neighborhood walk, and to the gym. Bravo HOKA!!! Yall are the best!

I have tried the Bondi Carbon Fiber sole and now the Bondi 8.. This is an AMAZING every day running shoe that every serious and entry level runner should have in their collection of shoes. The weight to cushioning ratio is just PERFECT!! I have seriously cranky tendons at 50 years of age BUT with these shoes I'm able to run every day with very little recovery time... I highly recommend giving these shoes a spin on the road, you won't be disappointed!
