These boots have everything I wanted: beautiful color; nice leather; seamless, quality construction; stylish look, with a low heel. But, my feet were not happy and when my feet hurt, I am not happy. Even with the wider width, the tapered toe cramped my squarish forefoot, my heel slipped, and the support was only moderate. Sadly, I am returning them so someone with less fussy feet can enjoy them.

Overall this is a cute and versatile bootie. I found it to fit just right (though I'm a bit on the narrow side), but I'm returning them because they're too big around the ankle and I don't like that gaping look with skinny jeans.

I returned the shoes because of the color. These were a burgundy color. I wanted a true red.

I wear 10 w's and have issues with a flattening arch, pronating, plantar fasciitis, a pulled perineal tendon in one foot, and a healing bone spur in the other. One zipper, outside of the shoe, is merely decorative. The other zipper is very smooth. The leather is so smooth and pretty! Good heel, was even more comfortable when I substituted Powermax inserts. However, I found the Aetrex Kailey to beat this one out in comfort and looks. But SO close! This was a good boot, just not a great one for me. Thank you for the better selection of wide shoes and boots, Zappos!!

Loved this boot. Sturdy sole and support and very soft supple leather boot. Feels like I can probably wear this all day comfortably. I like that I can wear this with jeans or slacks.

Nice shoe and well made. Felt like it was too narrow for my foot and I usually wear a medium width.

The fit and style are great and that means a lot coming from me. I wear a narrow and I really get tired of B wide shoes marked "narrow". They look better but aren't as comphy as Clarks Cloudsteppers. The style is not special except they are simple and can dress up or down. I need these for travel so they have a big job ahead.

Be aware that outside zippers are fake. Don't try to unzip them as I did.I thought the shoe was defective until I realized only the inside zipper is real!

I ordered the Trotter Major boot in my usual 9AA. This boots runs narrow but is true to size in length. The boot has a zipper on each side, but only one of the zippers on the inside of the boot is functional. The other zipper is for looks only. This might explain why the boot is narrow when putting it on. Because I have narrow feet, I liked the secure fit. I love the look of this boot. It is sleek with soft leather. My only issue was the arch support. The arch is a firm material that was uncomfortable for me. This could be because my arch does not fit the contour of the insole. Regrettable I must send them back. They are great looking boots, for someone who wants a firmer insole.

These were too small. They look and feel nice, the leather is perfect, but I am a size ten narrow, and these were too narrow for me, and too short.

I ordered my usual size of an 8.5 medium, but boot was too tight, even with the thinnest socks. While I do not buy narrow sized shoes, my foot is on the narrow side and I could not wear these. They are beautiful and well-made. If you normally wear a narrow, you will love them.

Beautiful boot but did not work for me. Heel slipped and not enough padding for me.

Runs small.

The lining around the toe has a seam that is very uncomfortable. They also seem to be very narrow for M-width.

The left shoe fit nicely. My right foot was slipping out of the right boot. The left boot had the normal shoe packing in it. The right shoe did not. Maybe it was a display shoe that was tried on?

I really like this boot but for some reason it wasn't very comfortable. My size is anywhere between a 6 1/2 and 7, depending on the shoe. I ordered both and returned both. The 6 1/2 felt too short and tight but the 7 felt too big and rubbed against my heel.

I was looking forward to these, but they are huge on my feet and have no arch support or cushioning whatsoever. They are cute and make my foot look smaller than some. I wish they fit.

Tried 2 different sizes 7.5 and 8 and got medium and wide. I liked Trotters but I give up on this style. None fit and returned them all. Frustrating..

The "snake" finish is really just slightly bumpy matte leather. No real style to this boot. Size runs a bit large.

The boots are perfect style and heal height. The medium width is so tight on my feet. I ordered another pair in wide. The size fits perfect, but the ankle for is a little to big.

I ordered an 8 wide (D), which is my typical size, but these fit more like a medium (B). I also didn’t realize that one of the two zippers on each boot was for aesthetics only, which I wasn’t crazy about given the price point. The arch support was decent and the material was good quality.

Most of my shoes are 8.5, but these were too small on me. I agree with another reviewer that they were a bit tight in the toe box and when I take a step they feel loose in the heel area. Odd fit in my opinion. They are nicely made, but I wasn’t in love with the style either.

I bought wide. I have a high arch and could not get these shoes on on. Adorable! Wish they came in wider widths. Returning these. I never got them on so do not kniw if they are true to size/width. Also do not know about support.
