I loved the look of this shoe, and the quality was excellent for the price, but the toe box was extremely narrow. My toes were squished. And I have neuropathy so really need wiggle room for my toes. All in all though, a very good-looking shoe.

I bought this shoe for a wedding and it worked out great. That said it's a pretty shoe and I didn't have any trouble keeping it on my size 11 medium foot, but there really isn't any support to it. I knew that though and it's OK to wear for short periods of time, but not something you could stand in your feet in all day.

I usually have to buy much more expensive shoes because of my hard to fit feet, so these were a treat. If your feet are wide but your heel is not - these are great. I am pleased. A solid shoe, especially for the price.

This is a very nice shoe, however I found a better color match for the outfit I bought them for.

Very pretty shoe. I usually wear 9.5 so I ordered 9.5 wide and it was indeed wide. But the shoe was also very large. Very pretty, but way too big overall. I would have just returned it and gotten a smaller size, but felt the sling back was too thin for the weight of the shoe. It really slapped my heel and kept slipping down, and I don't think it would have stayed up with the smaller size. Maybe a regular width might work.

Nice looking and would be great if sides were more narrow. Sadly I had to return for that reason

Extremely well made shoe. I am returning the shoe due to my heel slipping at the back. My heel is very small/slim. There is nothing wrong with the shoe...sadly, I just simply can't wear this style shoe.

I really like this shoe.... bought it in black patent and navy. THey are both very attractive and will work well with dresses and/or dress pants. They really are not a casual shoe. The toe box seems a little tight, but haven't worn them yet so it may loosen up. It's not enough that I would return them bc of it. They seem to run true to size and width. I have bought many many Trotters over the years.... I wish they made half sizes in the larger sizes. Overall, would recommend this shoe.

I have very bad feet and normally wear Naot shoes (when not wearing sneakers with custom orthodics), and recently even found a couple Naot pairs with heels that are very comfortable, but I also really wanted/needed a pair of closed toed pumps or heels that I could wear to dressy occasions when sandals are not appropriate. None of the pumps I tried on (2 from Naot, 2 from Soft Style) were comfortable enough. I had never heard of Trotters, but it came up on a search of comfortable brands so I decided to give them a try. Plus I LOVE the design! To my surprise they are actually quite comfortable! I wouldn't wear them often, and I imagine my feet will probably be a bit sore after wearing them, but I am extremely protective of my feet, I would never wear something that causes real pain, and I think these will be totally fine to wear a couple times a year when I have a dressy occasion and it's not the right weather or season for sandals (which generally are much more comfortable for me). I am very happy to have found these and looking forward to not stressing about what shoes to wear next time I am invited to a formal occasion!

Very disappointed this very handsome shoe didn't fit well. It was too tight across the toe but too big in the heel. I left true to size and width because other choices didn't correctly answer either.

Beautiful shoe. Wish it'd fit well. Just enough too short and too big in the heel. Disappointed to need to send it back.

Fit was perfect but when i walk the shoe flaps around too much - at least as much as a flip flop. Also, there is little to no cushioning on the insole.

This show was very short. My heel extended at least 1/s inch. If it fit I would have kept. Didn't know to order a 10.5 or an 11.

An ok shoe but too tight no way it was a wide which was what I ordered. I'm a 7 and this felt very snug all the way

Really wish these had been 8 1/4! My left foot is 1/4 inch longer than the right, and my heel was just beyond the end of the shoe. They were dressy enough, even with the low heel. The strap might rub after walking all day,but the footbed was comfortable.

Too narrow, too short for size ordered

Cute and comfortable--on my right foot. The toes on my left foot go in all different directions, and some of them rub (painfully) against the top of the toe box. Sadly, I must return them.

I have a wide foot and finding pretty dressy shoes is not always easy. This are stylish and fit my foot well. There is no arch support. The leather is soft and the heel hight is perfect that I don't get tired of standing or walking.

great looking shoe, great materials, very comfortable. The back strap however, is very stretchy and so the heel of the shoe flapped a lot when I walked.

I ordered 8 pairs of low healed black dress shoes. I do lots of walking and standing on convention center floors/cement. These were the keepers of the 8 pairs. Wide toe box and wider than most shoes across the big toe/bunion area. Stylish and comfortable. I am 9.5M, might have been able to wear the 9M.

Lovely shoe but did not have my size (12) so I ordered 13 in hopes that I could adjust the sling back tofu. Sorry, but they are just too big! Returning them.

I loved the shoe but the back won't stay on my heal, sadly I am returning.

To be fair, I've only begun breaking in these shoes, but so far I'm pleased. I ordered three different styles of Trotters at the same time, but kept only these due to sizing discrepancies. The open heel and adjustable strap probably help with that. The toe box feels a little narrow, but I'm hopeful it will stretch a little with time. I haven't experienced any blisters, however, so it's not awful. I absolutely love the style. I have size 12 feet, which means a lot of shoes look clunky or just plain ugly. The two-tone nature of these shoes and the attractively shaped toe make these great for work or leisure.
