OMG so comfortable. The leather is so soft and with such a low heel, these shoes won't cause any pain. I did have to order a half size up. Normally I wear an 8, sometimes a 7 1/2. But the 8 seemed short length-wise, my heel hung off just a bit. So I ordered an 8 1/2 and the length was better.

I had purchased these shoes for a planned wedding in June. Alas, when the time came, I was unable to walk properly in them because I have serious foot issues... Thus I am returning them.

Wow, I can see why these get 5 stars. Elegant and comfortable, would easily transition from work to a dinner out. My feet are wide at the toe, narrow at the heel, and these fit like a glove. Decided to go with something less formal, but they're beautiful shoes.

I have a pair in black and navy and they are my comfortable and professional go-to for work. Look great with pants or a dress.

Very few shoe companies make a shoe that fits me. Every pair of Trotters I've bought to date fit my wide foot fine. Although I shop in vain for variety, I always have to go back to the companies who try harder to accommodate different sizes. These are a classy looking shoe.

Comfortable but a bit lacking in style.

I'm delighted to have found this shoe! The lacy-looking material around the foot is very soft and comfortable, and the heel is a good height, yet even with all that comfort, the shoe provides a nice dressy look with skirts. My narrow heel works better with the sling-back than with closed-back pumps. If the heel were higher, they would look even cuter, but I couldn't wear a heel any higher, so I now compromise just a little on style to get the comfort! I bought a second pair in nude and the two pairs are now my go-to shoes for dressy outfits. Service from Zappos is always wonderful, too!

Very comfortable right out of the box. I have very wide feet and a bunion, so I went up a half size. They look great with pants and skirts and I wear them to work. I am a middle school assistant principal and I walk and stand most of the day.

My mother needed a pair shoes for my daughter's wedding and these were the perfect solution. She needed comfortable shoes because she has bunions on both feet so she ordered the shoes in a wide size. The shoes were comfortable and looked fantastic!

I love the Trotters Dea. This is my second pair. These are great business shoes and I can wear and stand in them all day. The wide and length is spot on. The Dea is just a classy Sling Back.

I'm older and have a difficult time finding shoes that look nice and fit. I ordered many shoes from Zappos and these were finally the only ones I could wear. Thank you very much for letting me return so many.

Love these shoes. I've had the baby & black for years. Just ordered the tan. They are my go to. Comfortable dressy easy and look great. Timeless since I've had them for years and they are still a best seller.

Excellent choice for aomeone with extra wide feet. My mother loves them, she said they are both comfy and stylish and she hasn't had dress shoes for years. Will be buying in different colors as well.

I love these shoes. I was going on a cruise. I always end up with too many shoes because you need formal and casual shoes. I also have issues with my feet. I decided to look for a pair of shoes to wear with my formal long dress, dress pants and casual wear. These worked beautifully and I was able to take a few less shoes. They were very comfortable too. I would definitely recommend these.

This is a very comfortable shoe in a classic style. I ordered my normal size 8M and it is a perfect fit. This is my second pair of Trotter shoes and I am pleased with the fit and quality.

I have Trotters Dea in 4 colors and have worn them for years as a "go-to" spring/summer/early fall shoe. The fact that they have been around so long is a testament to their great style and comfort. This is the only Trotters shoe I've ever been able to wear. Trotters tends to make shoes with relatively narrow toe areas and wide heels, which is the opposite of what I need. The Dea, in contast, has an adjustable elastic band on the heel which adds to comfort and custom fit at the heel area. I find the toe area to be a little smaller than most Trotters shoes and for that reason and also because I rarely wear them with hose, I order up from my usual 10M to a 10.5 medium and then add a small pad in the toe area to increase comfort. The toe area is a bit stiffer than the rest of the shoe because of the patent leather capped toe so the pad helps with that too. These shoes are adorable with capris, pants, and skirts and can look dressy enough for a wedding and casual enough for an outdoor gathering. Highly recommend!

Getting a second pair. Perfect professional shoe fits as well as shoes that are twice the price. Need a bit more cushioning. Order with Pedaq velvet (gel) insoles, which are very thin and fit perfectly, just as if they were made for this shoe.

I am unable to wear "heels" anymore but wanted something a little dressier and higher than a flat. I usually wear a 9, my foot is wider at the toe, & more narrow at the heel. These shoes fit like a glove. The toe box is slightly square, and there's a small v-shaped elastic gusset on top which helps prevent squished toes. The heel strap is adjustable, so you can tighten/loosen as needed. The block heel keeps the foot stable. The style is fairly classic, but not frumpy. J.Jill is my "go to" store for clothes, and these work with many of their Wearever styles.

I hate flats, but I love these! They're cute and they are the first comfortable, flat dressy shoe I've ever owned. I wear an 8 to an 8.5; got these in an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. The black/black patent toe is very nice and understated. The gold quilted/black patent toe is much brighter gold looking than it showed up on my monitor. (Might be good or bad depending on what you are looking for.) No arch support, so be warned if that is what you need.
