Comfortable, versatile loafer - I had no break-in period on these shoes; they were comfortable from the first day. Very versatile stylish loafer. The only complain I have is a fairly minor one: they make a pretty loud clicking noise when I walk on a hard surface.

Great shoe for wide feet - I have trouble finding wide shoes and I have come to love Trotters because they make a WW width. I ordered an 8WW to replace my old 8 1/2 W and they fit beautifully. This is a great shoe with pants.

Dependable shoe, great with slacks, jeans - I have been wearing these in Blk and Brwn since they came out a few years ago and I continue to "keep them in stock" in my closet. They are durable & comfortable. The Trotters brand is perfect for people who are too wide for a B width shoe, but too narrow for most C/D widths. I own a lot of the Trotter styles and have been very satisfied.

Trotter's Ash Shoe - A great all-around shoe with excellent comfort. Nice for work with slacks - can be dressed up or down. Excellent fit - true to size. I would highly recommend this shoe if you're looking for great comfort. The style is simple (a bit plain), but comfort overrides the slight simplicity of the style.

Great Shoe - This shoe is great if you’re looking for comfort & style. I searched 3 malls (brand name stores) looking for a loafer for everyday wear. Finally, I found it online. Took about 3 days of wearing them to break them in, but I couldn't be happier now.

Comfortable shoe - A nice looking shoe with slacks. Very comfortable and I have a hard to fit foot. I am a 7 1/2 WW with a high instep.

Perfect shoe - This is by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I can be on my feet all day and these shoes remain very comfortable. The support is great. It is a very good looking shoe.

Nice shoe - The shoe is well made and is very comfortable. It has good support and can withstand many hours on your feet.

This shoe is good looking and very comfortable. It fits my slim feet and stays on. I had just a little break in with the heel, but by the second time wearing I had no problem at all.

FINALLY!! From my record you must think I never keep ANYTHING! But having found 1 pair so comfortable right out of the box, I had to order 2 more colors! I have the worst time finding shoes that provide comfort and still look good.

The BEST - I have this shoe in every color. I wish I could get a red, grey or dark green. I wear them constantly. My foot is long and narrow and this shoe is perfect for my foot. I have such a difficult time finding a shoe to fit. All narrows are not narrow. This shoe is perfect and I have already ordered 2nds of some colors. Thank you Trotters and Zappos!

Nice shoe - This is a nice shoe. Unfortunately it did not fit well. I normally wear a 9.5 AAA I ordered a 9.5 AA after reading the reviews on it running narrow. The shoe was too narrow in the toes and too wide in the heel so I had to return it. I think the accurate assessment is that the heel runs true to width but the toes and ball run narrow. If you are looking for a shoe like this that runs true to size I would recommend the Munro Susie. It is expensive but fits well and wears well.

My Favorite - I have other colors in this shoe, and each one is as comfortable as the other. I can wear them all day with no discomfort. I have long narrow feet, and this shoe is so perfect!!

Second buy of these shoes - This is my second pair of the most comfortable shoe ever!!! Looks good in all sizes, feels stylish but very comfortable. Can wear all day on first time!

I love this shoe! I have purchased two pairs 7WW - one in navy & one in brown. The shoe has the look of a dress boot under slacks - the leather is soft & overall the shoe is very comfortable. I'm thinking of buying the same shoe in black.

Great shoe - I purchased the Ash based on Zappos reviews. They are great looking with jeans or nice slacks. I wore them at home a few days prior to vacation to break them in and they were very comfortable. I'll definitely consider Trotters in the future.

1st Time Order - Can't say enough great things about this shoe. I wear 10.5 W and usually have trouble finding shoes. Put these shoes on and they fit like a glove! I'm definitely going to order more. The quick delivery was a wonderful surprise.

A little narrow - Very nice looking shoe. Professional looking and comfortable. It is a little narrower than I expected, but I wear a medium width so it still accommodated my foot.

I am very happy with this shoe selection. It was exactly as described and arrived on time!

Trotters Ash - WOW! A new record for Zappos.com. Less than 24 hours after ordering, the shoes were at my door! Awesome service. Good looking and comfort in one shoe. These fit like a glove. I was a bit nervous about ordering on-line since I haven't worn Trotters since college, but the reviews steered me in the right direction. Thanks Zappos!

Great shoe - I love this shoe. The first time I wore it I walked all over New York City (in the heat!) and my feet felt great. I only wish I could find my size in other colors besides black.

Looks like a boot...only shorter - Nice, well cut shoe. Very comfortable and handsome, but looks like it's made for a woman...which, in size 11.5 is a big deal for me! A classic cut, really useful when the winter boots are put away but you want that smooth look under a pair of work pants or jeans.

My New Favorite Shoes - I have been looking for a slip-on type shoe like this for a long time. But all the ones I bought/tried were too wide or loose in the heel (I wear a size 6). These fit perfectly the first time and are very comfortable. I bought these in brown and will definitely be buying another pair in black.

Size Issues - I normally wear an 8AAAA, but was desperate for a pair of comfortable black shoes. These fit like a quad and are very comfortable - I didn't even have to put in heel grippers or inserts. I plan to buy them in other colors. Ceil F
